I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, with easy access to the motorway, making travel a breeze. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding to the warm atmosphere. While I was assigned a ground floor room that was a bit cozy, it was well-equipped for my needs. The bathroom setup was unique, and despite a few quirks, everything was functional. The bed was comfortable, though the valance could have used a little more attention. One note: there’s a daily parking charge even for overnight stays, but the convenience of the location more than made up for it. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily return!

I recently stayed at the Royal Square Hotel near Birmingham Airport, and let me tell you, it was a delightful surprise! First off, the location is spot on—super close to the airport, which made my early flight a whole lot easier. The parking was both easy and cheap, so I didn't have to worry about my wallet feeling lighter than my luggage. The bar was a great place to unwind after a long day. I might have enjoyed one too many drinks, but hey, it was worth it! The garden was a hidden gem—a lovely spot to sit and sip my drink while pretending. The best part? The bed. I had one of the best sleeps ever. It was so comfy that I almost missed my flight! Oh, and don’t forget breakfast. The morning meal was delicious and gave me the energy I needed for the day ahead. All in all, the Royal Square Hotel is a fantastic choice if you need a place near the airport. It’s got everything you need at a great price, and it won’t break the bank. Highly recommend it!

We booked this accommodation last minuet, the morning of our arrival and was a little bit apprehensive as we didn’t have to time do research. We were completely over the moon with how beautiful the property was, extremely clean and spacious which was amazing as there was 6 of us I total. Our teenagers had a whole floor to themselves on the top floor which they really liked as it gave them privacy! Host were so easy to contact, the location was fab as it had local shops, greggs, domino’s and more! Would highly recommend staying here, if I ever need to travel to Telford again this would be my 1st pick!

The location was perfect for walking 30 mins to the NEC & they only charge £6 to use the car park. it was just what I needed for a 1 night stay. The hotel was clean & comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent too with everything you could want from a continental. Also the shower was amazing.

The floor was quite creaky & the room doors were close together with not much sound proof. I thought this might be an issue but the other guests were very respectful & I actually got the best nights sleep ever. I didn’t feel the lock on the door was safe enough for a female travelling alone as there was no way of locking the Yale from the inside.

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the airport, National Exhibition Centre or Birmingham International Train Station by taxi and I do believe you can hop on a bus from very near by in order to reach the airport. From Birmingham International Station you can catch the fast trains to London. There is also another station quite close (again about 5-10 minutes in a cab). Marston Green is handy for travelling into Coventry or Birmingham itself. Naturally, if you are driving then the city is very accessible from this hotel. If, like me, you are around for a few days then the local area is useful. Marston Green and its urban area has a fair range of outlets. There is an Asda roughly 25 minutes walk away in Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre where, of course, there is a range of other outlets including a great breakfast café (Jac's Café), which does a great variety including the Full English!. On the particular subject of Full English brekkies, Asda does a good one and so does the café at the Three Trees Community Centre, which is a little closer to the hotel. I didn't try The Picnic Basket, by the station in Marston Green, for breakfast but I understand that they do a famously massive one if you have that kind of appetite. The Hotel has a bar which is really handy but the area is a little sparse regarding such places. The very near one is truly a 'local' and whilst I am glad to have visited it, I am not sure I would venture back. In Marston Green itself, again very close to the Station, there is a the Marston Green Pub. This serves a fair variety of beers and has a convivial atmosphere. For those who need something to munch after the pub, very close by there is a selection of takeaway restaurants. I would like to give a mention to the owners of the Hotel who did their absolute utmost to make sure that my stay was comfortable. They were very welcoming and interesting to chat to.

I am not really sure there was anything that came to mind that I didn't like about the area!

I stayed for one night -it was quiet, which is what I wanted. Basic facilities provided. Fast check in, for checkout I just had to leave the keys on the front desk. About 5-6 minutes walk to a bus station from where you can take a 10 minutes ride to the airport. Nice, comfy bed. About 4 instant coffees, milk, sugar and a 500ml spring water provided. I didn't opt for breakfast in the morning, so I can't say. I didn't use the TV. For one night stay it's perfect.

Very small room and very small bathroom. A big guy could be in trouble managing in there. Basic facilities provided, so not great for multiple days of staying. I had some internet connection issues in the morning.

I came to visit family and it was an ideal location and a very comfortable and cosy room. Staff were friendly and it brought back fond memories. The shower was powerful and I slept very well. There was no disturbance and the Television came in handy while I was in my room. I will DEFINITELY be staying again.

It was quite cold in the morning in room 11, it soon heated up in the evening though.

A little night away with the wife in Marston Green and stay at the hotel was azaing. Staff was extremely friendly and polite. Hotel was very clean, will most definitely be returning back there and would highly recommend. Parking was very reasonably price especially in such a close proximity of National Exhibition Centre. Breakfast was basic but who cares when you are rushing to NEC.

I had my flight from Birmingham international Airport and I booked the hotel due to its close proximity to the airport. The hotel had parking so, I parked my car while flying away on holidays. The guy at reception offered VERY reasonable parking charge for two weeks. My flight was at 4.30am the next day and It took only 5 minutes to get to Birmingham International Airport. No traffice....lol

The location was ideal for nec Birmingham and access to motorway m6. If you walk you better be prepared for a long walk certainly if you have mobility problems could be challenging..

I hadn't realised there was £6 CAR park fee which should have been highlighted more in the booking fee. My room was cold but the staff provided me with a heater, the hotel heating is on a timer, it came on at 6.30am.
