Close proximity to NEC, parking on site, allowed dogs, spotlessly clean rooms, very helpful staff. Breakfast pretty good with plenty of food available, good coffee and range on the buffet. Gluten and lactose free alternatives available; more for breakfast than evening meal. Rooms had lots of tea/coffee, good hairdryer, iron and full sized ironing board. Good kettle. Housekeeping staff very pleasant and helpful.
The evening food was little more than acceptable. Staff are all very helpful and pleasant but very understaffed on a busy Saturday night with a full hotel. On the Saturday the queue to order food and drink was very long and there were just 2 members of staff to man the bar, take orders and give out the food. The chef had to come out to serve food. I was very impressed by their helpful attitude despite being so obviously under pressure. There was a limited menu that night probably due to being so short staffed. For the price the evening food was very disappointing and mostly frozen food that had been reheated.

The accommodation was ideal for our needs, an overnight stay while attending a rock concert, and it was perfectly situated 15 mins on foot from the venue (Resort World Arena). The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, but some aspects of the room looked worn and tired. However, it was appropriately furnished with the usual facilities e.g. iron, hangers, towels, TV, tea/coffee The bar and restaurant were pleasant and clean, and the buffet breakfast was very nice. The hotel is very easy to get to off the M42, or from the train station, and is great for Birmingham Airport, NEC, and Resort World Arena. There's also ample parking both at the hotel or in tge area, all for an additional charge.
The only issues were that some aspects of the room were tired-looking eg carpets, shower floor tiles, window-sill woodwork. The bedside lamps didn't work independently to the main lights, which was awkward at bedtime. Also, I would advise the hotel to fit rubber insulation handles to the breakfast bar serving bowls, as my son burned his hand lifting one of the lids to dish up his breakfast..

We only stayed the night prior to our flight. The room was fine - interesting decor. The welcome drink was much appreciated after 6 hours of a nightmare journey from Newtown in the floods.
It is very confusing having more than one Ibis hotel at Birmingham airport. The signage to the hotels is lacking from the station. We arrived late at night after a cold stressful journey with cancelled trains. After asking for directions to Ibis Styles, we were directed to the Ibis Budget hotel. A cheerful girl on reception told us that guests frequently turn up at the wrong Ibis hotel. It was not an easy walk with heavy luggage in the dark and crossing roads from one Ibis hotel to the other with no signage. I think Ibis should provide maps for those guests that get mis-directed to the wrong Ibis - or even better, complementary transport. The breakfast was not inspiring - cold coffee.

The room was adequate for a one night stay for Crufts. The twin bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a good choice and lovely coffee. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel was lovely and clean and ideally located for the NEC.
The TV was at a strange angle for viewing from the bed and was on a wall directly behind the settee so that wasn't an option either! There was no clothes storage apart from a few hangers so I assume most people use it for one night as we did. It was expensive for one night...but I suppose that is because of Crufts.

Great distance from the NEC, was very easy to get to and there was lots of space for our suitcases and plenty of room to get ready in the morning. Good for cosplayers
The room was a little cold, but remedied by figuring out how the radiators worked and where they were in the room. Could do with a bigger bin or spare bin bags in the room, as we created a lot of mess and whilst we did our best to clean it up and used extraneous plastic bags to fill with rubbish and put next to the bin, we felt guilty about leaving mess outside of a designated area for it.

Staff were very welcoming, good communicators pre arrival, very clean facilities overall, quiet location not far from the NEC so perfect 👌🏻
Think the floors in the shower in the family could do with either re-grouting or a deeper clean, felt like I should have brought flip flops to shower in. Family Room needed a double bed and a single, not three singles with two pushed together. The doors slam shut and these can be easily heard throughout the building, whilst I sleep like a log my partner was disturbed by these.

The room was beautifully set out, the bed was comfy, the shower was great. The staff on reception and in the bar/restaurant were well presented, professional and helpful. Check in was easy, they gave me advice on how to get to my meeting the next morning and booked a taxi for me. The lounge area had a nice buzz with people from different countries going for their flights / events the next day which made it more pleasant as a lone traveller.
The menu in the hotel restaurant didn't really have much to offer vegetarians, and in practice this item had run out. The breakfast also could have done with something like veggie sausages for e.g.

Location; it's next to the airport but not on it. So it's a bit quieter, also you can come and go and don't have to leave your car in the expensive airport carparks an extra night. Rooms are clean, well-enough equipped for what most people will be a one-night visit. Staff are friendly and efficient.
Birmingham Airport has flights departing at 05.55am, so to not have breakfast start until 6am is a bit of a miss. You could at least put out cereals/pastries/bread for a cold self-service breakfast from 4am. Other airport hotels manage this.

The breakfast was really great, so many options and delicious flavours. I absolutely LOVED the hash browns. They were so amazing! Great food. The room was a decent size and I liked the shower. The staff were really friendly. The receptionist was really friendly, she offered her own personal umbrella after she saw that I was drenched from the rain and she knew I had to walk to the Resorts Arena.
The tv and couch position wasn’t the greatest (the couch was underneath the tv) and the heater or room air con didn’t work. I had no way to dry my wet clothes, a heated towel rack would’ve been perfect. There was also a blood stain on the pillow (I found this when taking off the bedding, but thankfully this was covered with a pillow case so that was ok). Everything else was great though and I was overall happy with the hotel and would stay there again.

Clean, good location, comfortable beds, friendly staff, very good breakfast
The restaurant was understaffed with one person at the bar expected to handle all of the orders for evening meals and drinks. Resulting in queues to order. Time from ordering to receiving the food was almost an hour and a half. One meal was not hot enough, seemed to have been plated up for a long time. Other guests were waiting longer than we were and staff received a number of complaints which they did their best to deal with. A free desert was offered to one of my friends who had received the cold meal. Overall disappointed in this part of our visit.
