The room was perfect for my needs, the little touches such as toaster, microwave, plate, bowl and cutlery and washing up liquid and tea towels were an added bonus. The fresh towels were also really appreciated.

I was really sorry to be running late on the first night (arrived around 9.30pm) due to my dog having to be taken to the vets as an emergency. I believed check in was until 10pm and I was really sorry to have caused concern that I wasn’t attending. All I would ask is for a comment that if arriving after a certain time, the best way to contact to advise, but not a criticism of the location or owners, purely to be a good customer.

The bedding and furniture, cups, microwave and fridge were exceptionally clean . The room was more than adequate and we felt safe. The bathroom is a little dated but ….. it’s a bathroom !! The shower worked, toilet worked… what more do you need. The lady who runs the Motel is lovely ! Friendly and welcoming !! She made an effort to inform us of the local amenities and the Woolpack was a great place to eat. Regardless of the “dated bathroom” we’d 100% stay again ! It’s a practical place which is clean and more than adequate !!

The signage could be a little more obvious. Maybe trim hedge a little but the Uk weather has made everything grow wild

We needed a bed after a late-ish event, and this did the job. The host was obviously waiting for us and showed us everything. A clean, practical room with a great shower. We wanted to make the next day into a mini-break, and this was a great location in the countryside, near a wonderful cafe and farm shop, and a magnificant NT stately home.

Rather hard to find in the dark - though there is a good sign when you finally get there. The worst thing is that the owners are retiring and the rooms won't be available next year.

Ideal for a person who likes the basics like me. It had everything I needed the shower was excellent. The addition of the fridge and microwave is an excellent idea and as I stayed two nights I could put my milk in the fridge and have it for my cereal. Excellent value for money and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I am ever in the area again. Very close to the showground which was ideal for me as that is where I was working for the weekend.

IThey don't provide breakfasts, but give you facilities (microwave, fridge, cutlery etc) to make your own. This suited me as most hotels don't serve breakfasts early enough for my purposes. Also bought some ready meals from a local Co-op to have in the evening.

I woke up in the small hours and unable to get back to sleep, I tried the internet, except I couldn't get the free wifi to work. Mobile reception was 3G, 4G was intermittent, perhaps the local mast was having problems.

Parking was good . . Room was small but was all I needed.

Postcode for directions was useless. Google Maps placed it 400metres away from actual site. . . Took me 40 mins to find the motel. . !! No phone no. on Booking.com confirmation info. . . !! Whilst searching on foot, I walked into a bollard, due to bad street lighting, smashed my left knee, ripped my trousers, and fell into the road.. . If a car had come along I'd be dead . . !!

Saw the cows in front of yard as i was not expecting to see the numbers of cows as they re so sweet. It was surprise me and very good car park space and I was disappointed that there were no cows in the morning as I miss them as it was real nature and I need to see like that during my stay I would like to stay at the same place again in the future.

In the bathroom there is no blind i would like to ask the owner to put the blind as i felt that is expose of my privacy please put the blind up in the bathroom please thank you

Check in was easy and quick. The owners were lovely and made me feel welcome straight away. The facilities were just what I needed and a bit more. Comfortable and quiet. With it being 10mins drive from my uni, it was perfect for me stay the night before an assessment, allowing me to just relax. Will definitely choose to stay again.

I have zero complaints!

Due to work changes we were late checking in and The ease of the owners made our stay so relaxed. Nothing was a problem. Was such a pleasure to stay in a welcoming motel. Rooms were massive clean and everything you needed. Towels in abundance. Cleaned everyday. Toiletries topped up. Microwave and a kitchen equipment if you stayed longer. We stayed here to access alton towers and was perfect 20 min drive away. Shower was great. Would highly recommend staying here Beds were really comfortable. Totally bonus when you lay in bed you can see the stars on a clear night through the sky light was so beautiful.

The heating was set on a timer so you couldn't turn it off but this is such a minor I absolutely loved staying here.

The motel is on a working farm and the rooms are in one of the out buildings, there was parking and some seats outside if we wanted to use them, the host was very welcoming and showed us round the rooms, we have a fridge, microwave, tv and a folder with lots of useful information. Breakfast was available as a continental basket, which includes pastries and cereal and water and juice too, all of this for £4 was great value for money.
