Good fantastic, staff amazing, room lovely except too hot and not able to control heating therefore very uncomfortable, lovely location, nice outdoor spaces, wouldn’t like to stay in height of summer as all garden seating directly outside bedroom door, re possible noise otherwise no issues. Tiles in bathroom could do with a little revamp around bath. Bed very comfy, extra sofa bed useful, lively bath and endless hot water, very hot bathroom difficult to control. Yoh had to me an engineer to work out the heating thermostat as it really didn’t work. Otherwise despite the very minor downsides it was truly lovely! Best belly pork in living memory

Communication with establishment prior to arrival was poor. There was a problem with the booking and I needed to speak to a member of staff. They frequently failed to answer the phone, did not call back when they said they would, did not reply to e-mails or voicemails. Understandably I arrived with trepidation, but my experience when I arrived was exceptional and did not reflect what I had experienced prior to arrival. I would certainly return.

Good location 5 min walk up into town. Our evening meal was a triumph of both presentation & taste.

A couple of things put a dampener on our stay. One was the service charge automatically added to our evening meal bill, which I was told was shared between the staff. I originally asked for it to be removed and was asked if I wasn't happy with the service, I was. I relented and asked for it to be reinstated. The other issue was a leaking shower and the surround, and a lack of a wardrobe. Other than those issues, we lived it.

Good location staff were very good and helpful and very friendly Although the room was small it was very comfortable and tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed very suitable for our needs

There was no bath mat available for when standing in the bath to use shower The heated towel rail was very good but it is dangerously close to the wash basin which my wife inadvertently touched several times There is no warning signs in the bathroom There was no electric socket on the one side of the bed for phone charging

Breakfast was excellent. I was unexpectedly delayed and a staffer stayed up to let me into my room at 12:30 a.m. Another staffer drove me to the Highgrove gardens when it became evident that there would be no taxi service that day. I was also driven to the Kemble train station when my trip was finished. I was very grateful for all these extras. It had not occurred to me that I would not be able to take a taxi or bus--Tetbury is tiny. The Royal Oak is located a 5-minute walk from the little town.

Really lovely warm welcome and nice room. Good location for exploring Tetbury. Great breakfast and we enjoyed an evening meal there too.

The rooms were not soundproofed and unfortunately the guest next door was exceptionally loud, including singing at full volume and totally out of tune when in the shower. He was sick in the early hours and this was loud and unpleasant to hear. I would assume we were unlucky and it wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Area was nice and easily walkable, whilst the facilities were good and the room was very pleasant. Despite being quite warm during the stay, the room aired easily and was comfortable throughout. And the bed was comfy too!

The room was a little dusty and base for the fan was cracked, so it didn’t sit that well, but neither were a reason for much concern. Bathroom was also a little bit of a squeeze, but again, a nitpick if anything.

We were upgraded to the whole house And had the Queen’s room It’s been refurbished to the highest level of quality It’s immaculately clean With Highgrove toiletries in the bathrooms Every need is provided for The property is very well located , only a few minutes walk from the centre of Tetbury

The only thing we didn’t like was that the bed was way too firm in spite of a very thick mattress cover . And so were the pillows

Absolutely lovely historic building and very well set up for comfortable rooms around the pub garden area. The quality of the room decor and food was excellent. But particularly top marks for all the staff… they seemed to have a genuine sense of pride in their establishment and a welcoming attitude. We hope we can stay again.

I could have used a squishier pillow though my partner thought that they were perfect

Location was excellent. Few minutes walk to Tetbury town centre. Breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day. Rooms were lovely and the house was fab. Couldn’t fault it as catered for all our needs. The dogs loved it too. Children enjoyed it even more especially hide and seek in the house. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t fault anything about the house or hotel accommodation.
