The Staff was absolutely friendly and made my kids welcome to, normally some places don't like kids playing around but the Filton Hotel made them so welcome, best hotel I've been to and I've been to a few! Every staff was always smiling and happy we just felt so comfortable here a night wasn't enough we wish we booked for longer. I loved how they had a swimming pool in the hotel so we didn't have to get cold coming out of the pool, and only had to walk out of our hotel room to have breakfast and dinner. we had a lovely time here, we'll definitely be visiting again, they even had shops about 3 minutes down the road which was a bonus. The room was stunning, even the cleaning ladies was happy and very lovely it was so nice of them to give my children crisps, biscuits and chocolates, we even had bottles of fresh water in the fridge, and a bath in the room which was a bonus for having children.

There wasn't anything to dislike everything was perfect!

From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional service from Naima and everyone we met. The interior of the holiday inn throughout was stylish and modern, very clean and of high standard. Very comfortable beds and pillows, made for 2 great nights sleep. We booked half board for 2 nights. The food was high quality, and really nice and Matthew and Suri delivered top service. It included a 3 course meal each night too. Breakfast was self service buffet style which was unlimited and catered for everyone and cooked really well. We didn't use the pool or gym whilst there, but others had mentioned how nice and warm the pool was. Our room had a mini fridge stocked with water and plenty of a variety of teas and coffees, crisp and chocolate which was replenished during our stay and the bathroom was stocked with Dove shampoo, conditioner and shower lotion. Hot water readily available too and nice powerful shower, over the bath. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The reason for my trip was of a medical nature, and what made it less stressful for me was the personal customer service I received (from Matthew and Naima) who booked my public transport for me to ensure I would get to my appointments on time with their kindness and local knowledge.

There was nothing to fault.

The hotel was being renovated. The 60 (premium) rooms that were available had recently been renovated and were very clean. I was topped up with free snacks each day of my 4 day stay there (apparently not a usual thing, but offered due to the ongoing renovation). The staff were super friendly! And the fitness centre was a huge plus! A gym, sauna and decent sized swimming pool (available to all Holiday Inn guests). For me, having traveled my car, the parking directly outside the hotel was great news! Not bad at £5 per 24 hours.

The lighting! Seems to be a theme at hotels in general…dim lighting!

Comfortable bed, a quiet room and breakfast was nice. Tea and coffee facilities were also in the bedroom.

We asked about the swimming pool and were told it opened at 6:30am so we hit up early and went to ho swimming- only to be told this morning that it didn’t open until 8am. Which was annoying as we had got up early to give ourselves time for a swim before breakfast. On this occasion our room was very small, no fridge and no extractor fan (that was working) in the bathroom.

The room was comfortable. The staff were very helpful when I needed to book taxi's to get to the venue of the conference I was attending. Breakfast in the morning was very good. I needed to make an early start to get to the conference where I was helping on the registration desk so the hot food was freshly cooked. The latte from the coffee machine was hot and just how I like it.

The hotel was good for the purpose that I booked it, namely a one night stay to attend a conference. It is not a hotel that I would book for a holiday. I would have liked to have had enough time to enjoy the swimming pool but I would have needed to stay an extra night to do that .

I basically liked everything! The hotel is very big and you need to walk a lot to some rooms, but you get the quietness as the hotel is further away from everything. Bed was very comfy, the tv was nice and big, bathroom was as new and had both normal and rain shower. Also there was complimentary drinks, chips, cookies and of course tea & coffee. Nice, dry and warm room, and also AC if needed. The breakfast was very good, and there was enough choice. Also, they would cook eggs different ways and pancakes when asked. The poached eggs were excellent! I did also use the sauna at the "spa" that's inside the hotel and it was surprisingly nice & hot as it should be. There is a small pool and gym but didn't use them.

Only thing that wasn't the greatest was the pancakes, they seemed like ready mate and very dry.

It's a lovely room, didn't realise it had a nice little lake area outside the window. Was lovely to see some geese and rabbits right outside my window when I woke up. Room came with some lovely complimentary snacks and water. The TV is enormous which was very surprising! Room was also very spacious which is always appreciated.

Not really the hotels fault, but we went to the wrong one at first as there's another Holiday Inn just down the road... Just wish there was a better way to prevent this from confusing people as according to the staff at both hotels, it happens often.

Great location.. Suburban with a mini lake in front of the hotel with geese and other birds. Reception seemed.to be open 24 hours.. Just across the road a forest path connecting to Stoke Park.. Harry Stoke and Garden bus stops close giving easy access to the regular M1M4 busses into town centre.. Newly renovated facilities ensure a great bed and shower.

Hotel parking costs £5 and if I have a car I like parking to be included as a courtesy. A small thing in an otherwise great stay. The parking is conveniently right at the entrance to the hotel.

Hotel is a good basic hotel. Breakfast plentiful. Pool good

My room was left unlocked by the cleaning staff and so anyone could have accessed it in the time between them finishing and me arriving back in the evening. Luckily I’d left nothing valuable. When reported to the night staff they were dismissive of my concern (it’s just the cleaning staff!) but sent a handyman to check the lock which was fine. The door had been left ajar. By 11 next day no contact from management it an apology. I had to report it again. Subsequently I received a written apology.

Staff were out of this world with friendlies, enthusiasm and customer service. I got a really nice vibe off them, they clearly enjoyed working there. It was Halloween and they gave me daughter sweets, which was lovely as we were missing trick or treating at home. I had forgotten some sanitary products and they found me some no problem at all. It's wonderful. We only stayed for a night as accomodation with family fell through but the staff left a lasting impression on me.

I didn't mind as it is a great asset to the community but the pool is used for childrens swimming lessons and half of it is often cordoned off.
