Convenient location from motorway

To many dogs and one had off loaded it’s business and was not cleaned to following day when had to mention to staff also another doing its business at side wall this needs to be stopped from letting dogs in the hotel should provide kennels at a charge instead of letting them roam about hotel For a four star hotel very underwhelming food presentation as lamb presented like a bowl of soup with all these peas which was sent back to kitchen on another plate suitable for 5 other people this was the main restaurant on another time in bar fish and chips the fish must have escaped before the batter was put in fryer

Check in was smooth and quick. Room was very clean and tidy. Swimming Pool, Spa, Steam room and Sauna were all excellent. two Tesla Supercharger (yes, Supercharger - not the destination charger) within the hotel premises which is extremely handy if you own a Tesla

I arrived with my partner. The receptionist mentioned several times during the course of conversation "you will pay X amount for the room you have booked" ."I am now going to change your card with X amount". They need to be a bit discreet as I did want my partner to know how much I had paid for the room. It can become a bit awkward and even embarrassing. The choice of food on the menu is rather limited.

First of all check in was easy and quick. Was very happy with the size of the room and cleanliness, loved how open it felt and space to move about. The bathroom was a good size and also very clean. Breakfast was very tasty and cooked perfect and i loved the selection of food and drinks. All the staff are very friendly and professional. Loved the swimming facilities and also impressed with the cleanliness again! Absolute bonus about staying here is a later checkout and breakfast on a weekend and you can use the swimming facilities till 3pm even after checkout.

Unfortunately for my husband and myself we found the bed really uncomfortable which meant none of us had much sleep which was all we really wanted because we have children so was looking forward to a good nights sleep of quietness. I think what added to the sleepless night was just how noisy some people were. The people in the room next to us were very inconsiderate to others when they went back to the room at 11.30 at night and was very disturbing. Its a real shame the only thing for me what let the hotel down was the comfort of the bed was very hard and so the next day my back was aching so much. Noisy people is through no fault of the hotel.

The property is very big upon arrival. Finding a parking space and registering for the free parking was no problem. The gym is very nice and all of the equipment is in excellent condition. The cardio room is also well equipped. The pool area is very relaxing and the pool itself is a nice temperature. The steam room was fine, I didn’t use the sauna. They also have an exhilarating ice shower! The classic double room was a good size and included a bath! The bar area was comfy and prices were fine. The breakfast area was very nice and staff were all friendly and polite.

No coat hooks in the room. The headboard on the bed wall was a little noisy. Jacuzzi in the spa wasn’t in service.

Lovely heated room with ample space for a couple. Large TV, kettle and coffees, teas. Fully carpeted and loads of cabinet / cupboard space in the room. Haven't used the spa offerings or the pool, therefore cannot comment on that. Did use both the room service and the bar, both satisfactory. Location was easy to find and ample free parking. Breakfast was really nice, typical hotel buffet breakfast with all the ingredients of the full English, plus continental too. Late checkout was really good. We only left the room in the early afternoon.

TV was out of order when arrived. They only fixed it the next day (no TV the first night). Room only had one bathrobe even after asking for another one at the reception, never received the second one. Cabinets on the dated scratched side showing aging. Slight issue with the door lock - happened twice; difficult to open the door, the lock mechanism was showing signs of wear. One of the window locks were broken off and therefore the window seal didn't close properly, you could feel the cold air flowing in (-4 outside). Asked for (and confirmed) a room upgrade before arrival, but they couldn't fulfil this as a boiler broke down, this wasn't a big deal.

Check in was efficient and friendly, there were lots of unexpected extras provided in the room - it was an executive room, which were much appreciated and generous! The bed was comfortable and the room was warm, comfortable and clean. Good range offered at breakfast, quality produce and a good variety of continental and cooked. Great location just off the M6 in a peaceful location. Plenty of parking. Didn't use any of the facilities but noted the pool was open til 10pm. Public areas are well looked after and smart

Being picky because I had a very comfortable stay!! Bedrooms are a little dated, but this is superficial - the rooms are clean and there had been recent attention to the bathroom which was clean with no tell tale signs of age.

Lovely quite location. Family Room is very spacious, includes double bed and 2 single sofa beds and a dining table. Room & dining areas very clean along with the bathroom. We stayed for 1 night in a family room and then extended our stay. Unfortunately we had to leave the large family room and go into another room. However the staff were very helpful in making our stay suitable for 2 adults & 2 children in the smaller room with a double bed. My husband enjoyed the gym facilities. The dining area for breakfast was nice. The bed in the double room was extremely comfortable. The bed in the family room looked amazing, it was huge and had lots of room. The bathtub is huge! also the separate walk in shower was very great too.

The heater/ air con unit in the family room no.222 wasn’t working nor was the remote for it. It was extremely hot due to the radiators being on permanently and we couldn’t get the air con to come on either Randomly throughout the night a very loud screeching noise repeatedly went on & off. We had no idea how to turn it off, it kept us up most of the night. The coffee machines kept playing up, unfortunately they did not work on both mornings. Breakfast - Sausages, bacon & beans taste needs improving, not the best unfortunately.

Windows in room opened. Quiet. Pleasant, helpful staff. Mini fridge in room so could keep fresh milk and wine cool. Easy access to swimming pool and not too busy. Plenty of parking.

Although windows opened the mechanism to hold them open did not work so had to resort to finding something to support them. Would have preferred feather pillows. It was an exceptionally long walk from the lift to our room with luggage. Wine list in both restaurant and lounge bar was a little unimaginative and could easily have been improved for the prices charged.

Very big rooms, warm. Bathroom excellent, loved the power shower. Very comfortable rooms. Lovely leisure facilities. I had a good swim each day. Breakfast was included in price. Very good. Quality food and lots of choice. Beautiful! Excellent carparking. Lots of room. Free.

No fridge. When you are car touring and stop at various hotels, a fridge would be handy. The TV was on a big cupboard which had nothing and in it. A fridge could have been there. I thought I read mini-bar in rooms. Didn't have one.

The staff were all helpful and welcoming. We picked the deluxe king room and it was spacious and quiet and it had good wifi and room temperature was comfortable. The spa facilities were a decent size and it never felt too cramped or overcrowded (we went during the late afternoon). The breakfast is decent (as long as you don't go in too close to the end of the service) and the dinner was good quality.

Nothing much the hotel itself can do about it but if you don't have a car, getting to and from the Warrington town centre is difficult without the use of uber/taxi, which we had to heavily rely on. Other than that, nothing else to note.
