Stayed here as a stop off between Scotland and Wales. The hotel is quite removed from main areas for eating, shopping etc but that's exactly what we wanted as it was lovely and quiet and there was plenty of parking bays available. The hotel accommodated our wee dog and baby and even moved us rooms to give us more space. They really were lovely and had excellent customer service so we thank you. We never ate dinner here but the breakfast was lovely and Just Eat has plenty of options if you fancy takeaway. Very clean as well. All round excellent stay :-)

Nothing, the hotel was excellent and we had no complaints. I wouldn't advise visiting Warringtons town centre though which is a 15min drive away. Not the friendliest of places and very little to do or see.

The staff were fantastic very helpful and friendly especially Jim who was very welcoming.

The breakfast selection was really good, however the sausages were extremely salty and I couldn't eat them. Also I felt £12 each for breakfast including a 6 year old was really expensive! We were also advised that if we didn't pre book the price would increase to £14 on the day!! paying £104 for a room for 1 night I genuinely would expect breakfast to be included. again couldn't fault the staff however who were great.

From the outside, this hotel is dated but it is great value. The staff are helpful, particularly David who is super friendly, efficient, and always smiling. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Some rooms have an intelligent TV that allow you to sign into your own Netflix/Prime... I believe in time this will be in every room. Room service./ restaurant - The quality of the food is fantastic, better than anticipated, I would recommend it. I have had self-service and a la carte breakfasts (I guess it depends on how busy the hotel is) and they are both good.

While all the rooms have Wifi, it tends to go slow at unpredictable times (very early in the morning) which is frustrating if you must work. This could do with an upgrade.

The location was ideal and staff friendly and attentive on arrival. The facilities provided throughout the stay were more than sufficient for expectations, there is plenty of parking for the size of the hotel and easily accessible from the local road network.

The shower could have benefited from some maintenance, likewise some attention to the lighting in the bathroom but only small improvements needed.

Check was quick and efficient receptionist ordered us a taxi to our wedding venue Room was standard but clean beds was comfy. Breakfast was nice, we was at a wedding party which was at a different location on arriving back later than the bar facilities been available the member of staff on duty did offer drinks to take back to our room which we accepted which was nice of him

Lighting in the room wasn’t very good only having one light in the hallway and two over bed lights there was no main room light. Breakfast was ok but bacon,hash brown and black pudding was dry and unable to cut through

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it was really clean throughout, big sized room, the staff were super nice and welcoming, hotel facilities were lovely and it was in a great area. Great parking facilities too!

Nothing - all I wanted was a clean tidy room and that's exactly what we got. It was a really good price and we got exactly what we wanted for that price

Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, food for both dinner and breakfast was good. Excellent value for money I have to say.

Only down side was the bedroom, fan in the bathroom was really noisy, which I did report, but the walls are so thin you could literally here people whispering and unzipping bags in the next room, but if you are a heavy sleeper, no problem, unfortunately I am not.

We held our wedding there on Saturday 14th May 2022. From the evening of Friday night through to Sunday morning we could not fault the hotel and its staff. They were exceptional. Nothing was any trouble and always a smile. Laura, Hayley, Angela, Jim to name but a few couldn't do enough for us. The honeymoon suite we stayed in was fabulous. Breakfast was good too. You have to order the fried eggs if you prefer them to scrambled. We would highly recommend holding a wedding here and booking the rooms to stay over. Free parking.

Everything was perfect.

Close to where needed to be, the cooked breakfast was lovely and hot,friday cooked to order. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very very dated, no air conditioning, sat night went outside and loads of kids hanging by the door as a prom taking place, alot of screaming and revving of cars, couldnt sit outside for a drink.

Food was good and the staff were delightful. Reception very stylish and clean

The room was less than kept. Duvet didn't fit the bed. Bathroom door had a hole in it and had clearly been broken off at one point and patched at some point. Dusty dirty and outdated. Not worth even half the cost of the hotel. Sadly this means will not be returning.
