The Room was fantastic, view of Windermere and the hills. The staff were friendly and helpful. the location was excellent, only a few minutes walk and you were in Bowness

The room was on the top floor, so difficult to get you luggage upstairs. The bathroom was huge, however the shower could do with upgrading s the brass fitting were starting to show green colouring. the parking was a bit of a pain, in the days we stayed there we couldn't park on the flat part at the front, so had to park behind which meant more steps.

Great Place to stay. Great location. Breakfast is lovely, and we like the discount voucher for sister venues. We'll be back for sure

We have stayed at the Cranleigh on 2 occasions. Both times we have arrived early. The receptionists, (who are always lovely), said on both occasions that they would let us know by phone when our room would be ready, but they have never called to let us know. Not a big problem, as we know we were early. We love our stay there, that's why we are going back again. Our chocolate brownies were yummy! 😊

Everything about the stay was first class. On arrival we were greeted warmly, asked if we needed to move our car and then given access to the overflow car park. Our room was perfectly made up, and warm on entry. Everything worked, and everything we needed was provided. Our morning breakfast was included, which is a lovely touch, and the food was freshly made. The staff especially were efficient, well turned out, warm and very polite.

I honestly could not fault the property, room, parking, food or service. It was a stay away for my wife's 50th and just one night. It was great. :) Thank you.

We stayed in the Seductive Suite, it was a beautiful room with the decor, lots of space, beautiful bathroom, we loved the mood lighting and the bed was so comfy. We loved the special touches like the vanity area and the under floor heating and the tv on the wall in the bathroom. It was the best hotel that we have ever stayed in and it was my boyfriend’s birthday as well. We will definitely be coming back.

I loved everything, it was perfect.

Friendly, efficient. Changed our room to a ground floor room as noted my message re mobility. Breakfast lovely with lots of choice. Room very clean and comfortable with local products and produce. Heated bathroom floor so good for a middle of the night visit. on a slight incline close to the main food and drink area so not bad for mobility problems. Would stay again.

Only slight complaint is the rarebit with mustard seeds for breakfast had far,far too much mustard. Could not taste the cheese. But that was a very minor thing.

The hotel was in a great location to reach all the amenities of the town and for sightseeing. The facilities in the room were very good and the room was serviced every day. Breakfast choice and quality was great. All staff were friendly.

The mattress in our room was worn out with springs digging into us. I reported it to reception and asked if another thick mattress topper could be fitted but only a thin mattress cover was fitted. We spent the whole week lying on top of the bed covered by the robes provided. After reporting it the reception staff we weren't asked if the problem had been resolved so we told them again about it as we left. The room needs a new mattress!

The bed was large and lovely and room very spacious , staff are very polite and helpful. Nice to have a choice of a bath or a shower Great breakfasts . Location is a 5 min walk into windermere .

A bottle of water in the fridge on arrival but the next 3 days no water was supplied .we hung on our door handle a sign for them to refresh our room but this never happened.Tv kept loosing signal on all channels , very annoying. Stain to bedroom carpet just inside the door on arrival ( not acceptable )Bathroom tap in a morning wouldn't allow cold water just warm or boiling water .

The property was in an excellent location. Breakfast facilities were varied and good quality. Staff were friendly and efficient.

We liked everything but the tea, coffee and biscuit facilities were a little lacking. One pack of biscuits and approx two teabags/coffee bags for the day for a room with two people staying was not enough, particularly given the cost of the room.

Lobby very clean and pretty, Breakfast was a highlight and Rooms always boujee and clean’ish!

The bed wasn’t made properly and the bed sheet wasn’t quite big enough for the bed, it kept coming off the bed. Not sure if noise was coming from below our room or down the hallway, but we could hear people talking and their TV in our room (Room 6)

All staff were a pleasure! Rooms and facilities were excellent, along with a lovely morning breakfast. The location too was perfect, only a short walk down to the lake, with plenty of pubs to visit! Would highly recommend here if you are visiting.
