The part of the stay that made this superb were Kirstie and Barbara. Absolutely fantastic hostesses. We were greeted in the evening on check-in by the lovely Barbara, shown around and had all our questions answered that I had on the night. Then on both the following mornings Kirstie was just as helpful, accommodating and great to chat to. Oh and the Full English Breakfast is WELL worthi it, can't start the day in any other better way! Thank you for everything Kirstie and Barbara, should we come back to Windsor in the future, The Old Farmhouse will be the first place we look back to!

As with any stay at any property, you can always pick on the imperfections, of which there may have been a few very minor ones, but mentioning them would detract from the over all fantastic service and experience.

My family of 5 (4, 7 and 9) traveled to Windsor on the tail end of our London-> Sicily-> London again trip. Our contact person was Kirsty. She was fabulous! Very friendly, provided great communication, phenomenal food recommendations and made us feel right at home. The family suite pictures online did not do it justice! It was expansive with 3 rooms and a full bathroom. Each room had comfortable furnishings and bedding. The master room was equipped with coffee, tea, hot cocoa and biscuits which my children adored. The breakfast in the morning was lovely with an assortment of cereals, granola, breads and jam plus beverage of choice and our choice of a Full English breakfast or waffles. They even had a vegetarian sausage option for me. The Farmhouse itself is set upon a lovely yard with moss covered stones, straight out of a fairy tale. We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer!

These were very minor concerns and did not at all impact whether we enjoyed our stay; we would come back in a heartbeat! We were disappointed to find it only had a tub, no shower. I could see this being perfect with little kiddos but we are in the stage of showers for our kids so had we needed it. No place for luggage storage or late check out as the facilities are not manned 24 hours a day.

The location and the building are absolutely beautiful. We stayed two nights with our three girls, ages 7 and 8. They were in awe of the property. They said it looked like Snow White's house and thought it was amazing and magical. The breakfast was a delightful experience. The biggest bowl of fresh fruit, a vibrant centrepiece, was a hit with the children, who devoured it immediately. They felt truly spoiled when their waffles and Nutella were served. Debbie, who was wonderful with the girls, also took them to see the gardens outside, where she shared that foxes and deer occasionally visit, sparking a mission for the girls to spot them. The entire property feels like you have stepped onto a movie set from some olden-day film. The location is a very short drive away from Legoland, where we were visiting. Debbie also told us about some other nearby activities that we could enjoy on our next visit to the property.

Overall, there wasn't much to complain about. But if I had to nitpick, the planes flying over from the nearby airport were a little bothersome at night. I reckon a pair of earplugs would do the trick to block out the noise, but it didn't really take away from the awesome time we had during the rest of our stay. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Farmhouse. The property is beautiful and we had the warmest of welcomes from Debbie and Barbara who greeted us like old friends on arrival. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The grounds are equally special - honestly a true pocket of country elegance moments from Windsor. The breakfast was divine - our children still talk about it and rate it as the best breakfast we had on our trip. We only wished we had booked to stay longer. A genuine highlight of our time in the UK.

This is a stunning property, so many character features, warm and inviting. The breakfast was perfect, lovely selection of fresh fruit, lots of choice on the menu and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast room was delightful, the table settings attractive. A great welcome from the breakfast lady, very friendly and competent.

I could not connect to wi fi in the bedroom, not sure why, a number of BT hubs came up, but I could not connect- this may have been because of the thunderstorm during the night. The TV in the living area had no reception on Channel 4, but did have reception in the bedroom. I would also have preferred to be able to open the windows wider, I assume they are restricted for security, although two small windows did open fully. That is why my rating is 9 not 10.

Friendly welcome with a tour of the place. Beautiful building dating from 15th century. Access to come and go as we pleased, which was ideal as we had two evening engagements so could return early afternoon to shower and prepare each day. Very spacious room with en suite bath and separate shower and piping hot water - luxurious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. Delicious choice at breakfast!

Forgot we’d be in flight path of Heathrow!

The breakfast was the best we experienced in a long time. The staff was very kind and pleasant. The selection of foods was better than we expected. The other guests were enjoying their stay and there was a convivial atmosphere.

The sign by the road. We approached from Windsor and the small sign was facing the opposite direction. It was hidden by shrubbery as well. We stopped at the restaurant at the end of the road and inquired about the location of the Old Farmhouse. The friendly bartender informed us of the precise location.

The house was charming with lovely and spacious communal sitting room. The bedroom was exactly as per the photograph with every amenity, comfortable beds, tea, coffee biscuits and deer in the garden on Sunday morning! We had a lovely lobby area inside the door with table and chair and entry to the shower room which was better than entry from the bedroom. Breakfast was exceptional - selection of cut fruit on the table, croissant, toast, porridge and cooked breakfast - quality was excellent. Everything was topped off by Debbie, the Manager who was efficient, welcoming, helpful and great fun. The Old Farmhouse is a great find and I am sure we will be back.

We stayed at the Old Farmhouse before visiting Lapland UK and could t believe we had the place to ourselves! A beautiful, historic building full of character and quirks - we loved it! Room was warm and cosy and very comfortable. Breakfast was also very delicious with lots of choice. The star of our stay was Kirsty, who was so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you so much! Ps - perfect for a Lapland UK trip, only a short distance away. Great for visiting Windsor town as well.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Beautiful 15th century house with all the quirky sloping floors that go with it. We had the Minuet suite which we both loved, great to have the separate room with a comfortable couch to watch TV from, rather than lying in bed. However TV also in bedroom if you prefer. Very comfortable bed and plenty of windows to open to keep the place airy & cool. Over bath shower. Five minute walk to The Greene Oak, a great Gastropub. We went both nights. The breakfast room was nice and the breakfast choices good. Plenty off street parking. Only 1 short flight of stairs to the rooms. On the flight path but there must be a curfew overnight as our sleep was not disturbed. Short drive into the many carparks of Windsor.

Nothing to dislike.
