Overall the staff were extremely helpful, the room was clean, the location was great, the food was good, the atmosphere was light and casual. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and having the tea/coffee station was helpful.

There were several times when we ate in the restaurant that they ran out of menu items. One morning there were no eggs of all things. There was also an evening when they ran out of our chosen desert and never told us, meanwhile we are sitting around waiting for desert and eventually had to go find out what was happening. It would have also been useful to have a suitcase stand in the room, our room had no closet and just a small hanging rack, so we had to use the desk chair for the suitcase which was a tad inconvenient.

Surprisingly good accommodation. Smart and spacious room with all mod cons. Lovely modern bathroom with large shower and a choice of shower heads. Room was warm but a fan was provided. We faced a main road but it wasn't overly busy and secondary double glazing reduced any noise. Bed linen was crisp and clean and the king size bed was very comfortable.Everything was very clean and I cannot fault the accommodation at all. The Wheatsheaf was originally booked for its location but having now seen its offering we would book again if in this general area.

If I was going to be picky, we missed the car park because the signage was not as large/clear as expected, but probably our own fault.

Really nice rooms. Not the cheapest but new rooms are very clean quiet and comfortable. You wouldn't think you are in a pub on a road. Decent shower. Double bed was so comfortable without that annoying ridge in the middle that you get in some hotels. Great location for me as I was working in Woking. Brought my bicycle so was able to explore the canal and woodlands. Superb. Spoilt for choice on the food. I didn't eat in the pub, the was to much choice in town which is 10 minutes away.

Didn't have the breakfast but the coffee want up to my standard. Weak filter coffee. Should have had tea

The staff are always very helpful - I'm a wheelchair user, I stay here regularly and the staff always make an extra effort which is greatly appreciated. The newly refurbished accessible room are fantastic - the wetrooms are thoughtfully done and stylish. The food is always good in the restaurant/pub. It's reliable, hot and fresh. The chefs are also happy to make necessary changes to dishes which is very helpful.

On the other side of the wall, room 1 is connected to the main corridor of the hotel which leads from restaurant to the rooms. The internal door in this corridor is so loud, it makes room 1 shake. The door bangs loudly from early a.m. to midnight most days of the week. It can be very disruptive. Parking can be very hit and miss. the spaces are so tight and sometimes the blue badge bays are blocked just because space between cars is so limited.

The room was quite small (for a double) but very well appointed, tv worked well, plenty of tea and coffee (etc), very clean, super comfortable bed and a spotlessly clean, modern bathroom with a hot and powerful shower. so perfect for a work trip. and plenty of parking! We also enjoyed the location next to the park so a chance to stretch your legs and get some fresh air but only a short walk to town/station.

My only small grumble was that the breakfast was quite restricted - I’d paid the extra for all inclusive but apparently this only stretched to a single dish - so you couldn’t have porridge and scrambled egg without paying extra. I felt this was unnecessarily penny pinching given that what I paid to include breakfast would have more than covered those items purchased individually. And normally if you pay for a full breakfast (as opposed to paying approx half for continental) you are allowed more than one plate. Which kind of took the shine off what would have been an excellent stay!

My Son and I stayed overnight in a twin room with booked breakfast. We booked a table for an evening meal for our arrival in advance too. When we arrived it was Quiz night and relatively busy, but the staff greeted us promptly and checked us in for our room and took our food orders. We ordered from the 2 course menu and the food was both aesthetically well presented and delicious. The breakfast was equally excellent. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There was one minor hiccup with the beds that was immediately rectified by the lovely staff working that evening. All in all an enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay again in the future.

The staff were helpful with a welcoming smile at all times. I have special dietary needs which were cheerfully accommodated at our daily breakfasts and at dinner they bent over backwards to change what was advertised on the menu to something I was able to eat. Also, as the Wheatsheaf was on a fairly busy road, I expected to hear traffic or noise from the bars in our room, but the rooms were so positioned as to be beautifully quiet at all times.

This hotel is Wonderful! Great location in the heart of Woking, England. Walking distance to downtown for shops, restaurants, and Victoria Place Mall. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms were large and clean. The pub/restaurant area in the lobby is very warm and quaint. The food and drink are excellent and reasonably priced. Close to Heathrow, This is a GREAT place to stay the night before a flight day!

Noise from the pub can be heard in some of the rooms, but is not overbearing and quiets down by 11PM.

Great location for visiting family nearby. Good menu choice. Rooms are really good, descent size, great bathroom and everything you need and nothing too much trouble. Good parking too.

Unfortunately, there wasn't sky sports available, so my hubby wasn't too pleased. There was somewhere about 10 minute walk away. They did run out of a number of main food items on Saturday and Sunday but it was Bank Holiday. Disappointed with the biscuits in the room.

The place has been fully refurbished since I last stayed there and it is so lovely. I have always loved staying here but it did need some TLC and now it is gorgeous. The makeover of the bedrooms and bathrooms is fabulous. The new showers are fab. The staff are lovely and the food is great. Parking is free and I like having an iron and ironing board in the room.

Wifi is hit and miss in the bedrooms. It often says no internet available.
