I don’t write reviews usually… this time is an exception as this property stands out by mile other ones with reasonable budget. Best location in the Sedona…Exceptional service, spotless rooms, pool, hot tub …and everything from flyers to maintenance is well thought and executed. I love when someone cares for business from A to Z and that deserves highest recommendation….

We loved this property and the staff. The pool is heated and has a nice hot tub. The grounds are amazing! We saw quail, lizards, and bunnies all from our balcony! The room was spacious and updated. The property had a complimentary shuttle that would take you anywhere within 5 miles of it and would pick you up too! So it was great to head uptown for dinner and shopping. The location is amazing too! Its right next to airport mesa so wed go watch sunrise and stargaze. 100000%%% reccomend this hotel.

Views! Landscaping—a sweet green oasis on the edge of a mesa overlooking the city sprawling through the valley below. Beautifully refurbished. Toilet & shower separate from sink, broad area beside sink for spreading out. Lovely reading chair and light. Delicious fresh-brewed coffee in the morning. Very easy Parking. Low rise cabin-type units. Lovely!

No fault of Sky Lodge, but food closer by would have been nice. And a little more of a kitchenette—we brought our own yogurt and fruit for breakfast.

Best location in Sedona. This is the only hotel located on Airport Mesa which, due to its altitude, provides an unobstructed panoramic view of the surrounding red rocks. There’s a private viewing deck on the hotel premises with a great view of the Coffee Pot Rock and Capitol Butte side. You can also hike about 40 min along Sedona View Spur Trail to the summit of the Mesa to see the other side — Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock, etc. We didn’t get a mountain-view room which would have been spectacular; our room was right next to the courtyard with beautiful fall foliage on display. The viewing deck was just steps from our room, or any other rooms. West Sedona is a short drive away so it’s convenient to get to restaurants and grocery store.

No breakfast on premises, though there’s a restaurant within walking distance. We bought breakfast the night before at Whole Foods in West Sedona and ate our breakfast in our room.

The location was amazing with views right outside our door, food and drinks just steps away. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The beds were super comfy and loved being able to bring my dog. I liked being removed from the hustle and bustle of the town, but still a close 5 min drive to town when we wanted to go.

There is not much sound prevention between rooms. We could hear every step the upstairs neighbors walked above us and whole conversations of the loud talkers next door. We always sleep with a noise maker, which did mostly mitigate the issue.

Sky Ranch Lodge in Sedona is the perfect place to stay. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with charming little cottages and a lovely pool area featuring a jacuzzi. There are plenty of activities for both kids and adults, and the happy hour with a Sedona sunset view is a must. I wish we could have stayed longer because everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious, and the area is peaceful and safe.

The only downside is that there's nothing within walking distance, so you’ll need to drive to get into the town center. However, the hotel offers a shuttle, so it’s not a big issue. Given the stunning views, it’s definitely worth the drive up.

The grounds are beautiful. Lush landscape and cute little hidden areas to sit. Gorgeous look-out area to see the sunsets each evening. Everybody is courteous and kind. Room was clean and well designed. Every day from 5 to 6 they have a Happy Hour.

Dogs are allowed and welcomed at Sky Ranch but I did not know that you can never leave your dog alone in the room no matter how obedient your dog is. Animal Control will be called if you leave your dog alone in the room according to the office personnel. The office did give us information on doggie day care facilities nearby which we utilized one day. The day care was great and we felt comfortable leaving our Golden Retriever there. Make sure you bring your dog’s shot record if you decide to use the day care facility.

This location was PERFECT for our stay in Sedona. The property and our room were immaculately clean and very well maintained, with lots of landscaping and a sense of privacy at each of the sports they've created for taking in the views. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a gorgeous and comfortable setting to take in a wonderful city.

If I had one small complaint, it would be that the hot water heater seemed to run out of hot water quickly. We visited in summer so taking cool showers wasn't a big deal, but I might have noticed that a lot more during cooler weather.

Stunning view - the best in town. We felt very lucky to be able to enjoy the glorious sunset from a prime spot exclusive to hotel guests. The gardens are beautiful and very welcoming with lots of comfortable garden furniture. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The complimentary coffee and delicious cookies in the lobby were appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend Sky Ranch Lodge.

Having a coffee/tea maker in the room is great, but the UHT milk is not. Would prefer small fresh milk as the taste of UHT milk is unpleasant.

I had read some mixed reviews, but this proper blew us away. We stayed for 2 nights midweek, so we didn't deal with any weddings or parties that impacted some reviews we read. We had a garden view, which was lovely. The overlook area provided beautiful sunsets just a short walk away, and the pool/spa area was really nice. Great having an on-site bar, and the fact that they brew coffee starting at 4:30am was awesome, as we were up early for hiking each day. The rooms were clean and spacious and great showers. This was a really enjoyable stay and we have already recommended it to our friends who will be visiting the area.
