What a gem of a hotel! I was so thrilled to be able to stay here because it is on Rt 66 which lent some nostalgia from past travelers who have been stopping here for over a hundred years! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. It is right in the middle of restaurants, shopping, etc. Street parking only but had space, no problem and the restaurant next door serves delicious Italian food with a choice of patios to dine. Loved it and will stop again. Another bonus is that it is about an hour drive to the Grand Canyon Park Entrance so I could sleep in and still be early enough to miss the long entrance lines!

The only draw is a shared bathroom which was clean but small. I actually didn't really have to share it with anyone that I was aware of. This is the only reason I gave it 9 stars. The street outside was busy but quieted down immediately after 9 so that wasn't an issue.

The vintage charm , friendliness of staff and ideal location made it a perfect place for our 3 night stay in Oct.’21. We were right on route 96 and in walking distance ( 10-15 min.) of wonderful diners & boutiques. Coffee & tea was always available as well as recommendations from the host. Our room although Vintage decor had electrical strips for recharging technology. A ceiling fan is available for warmer days. We felt very COVID safe and enjoyed daily maid service.

Assistance was offered by both the host and maid service with our luggage Up a lengthy pair of stairs. If this wasn’t provided, due to replaced joints , staying here would have been a real challenge.

The unique historic themed family suite with two bathrooms was perfect for our family of five. Our kids loved the loft style room upstairs. The location was excellent with easy access to the Grand Canyon Railway and the owner gave a terrific recommendation for dinner. (He is also well travelled and has some great stories of his adventures and was generous with his time.) Williams was an amazing town, we only wished we could have stayed longer!

Located in the center of Williams it is convenient to everything with Grand Canyon train station 200 yards away. Built in 1891 and still retaining its original structure this facility is unique and has character, charm and history. Rooms are quaint with eclectic furnishings and the en suite bathroom did the job. Upon check-in had a choice of 6 rooms and selected one with a window overlooking Route 66. Staff were fabulous and informative. Must mention Red Raven restaurant next door which also had great food and service. If you want something different this is the hotel for you.

We stayed at The Grand Canyon Hotel for 2 nights and can highly recommend it. Upon arrival we were given the choice of around 8 rooms and were invited to have a walk around them all and pick which we wanted. We've never had that before and it was a brilliant way to start our stay. The history of the hotel is fascinating and the staff brilliant. The location is on Route 66 and it is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. It is only an hour away from the Grand Canyon and the hotel also offers free off road parking. Can't wait to revisit and highly recommend.

I really liked the vintage vibe decor and the staff couldn't be more kind. The walls are far too thin though and I could hear clearly every word spoken by rhe family above us and to make matters more frustrating they allowed their young child to scream no stop for literally 25 mins at 10pm! There's no staff onsite after 9pm so there was no one to intervene.

It wiuld be nice and helpful if they had staff available onsite or at least answer the phone when a customer is needing assistance.

Room was what we expected; tho beautifully decorated we felt there was not enough surface area to place our own things because there were many things the owners had placed there for decoration. The location is great, heart of downtown, surrounded by great eating places, walking distance to the station and dedicated parking space. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Could have offered a minimal breakfast....they have only coffee and tea

The hotel had a delightful rustic old home feel, like visiting your grandmother out in the country; but it also had modern amenities. The facility fostered interaction among guests and created an immediate sense of community. Conveniently located, it allowed easy access to the offerings in town… no driving required (though they do have a place for guests to park a car).

Staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. Interesting to learn about the building, and it was a nice experience to stay in a hotel with such a history. Room was clean and comfortable. Good location for our needs. Good value for money. Would return again.

The shower floor in the bathroom was quite uncomfortable to stand on, it would be good to have a mat. The website and booking.com states that the hotel has parking, but we were told on arrival that this was limited and full, so we had to park on the road around the corner. Not too much of an issue but felt it was a little misleading.

The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The hotel has a nice authentic atmosphere, super cozy. Nice location on route 66. We arrived early so we could choose our room between a few options.

Some rooms were quite dark. Our room had the sink in the actual bedroom instead of being in the bathroom. However, that did not cause big problems, and it was in style with the vintage atmosphere of the hotel.
