We are a huge train family. We surprised our kids with rail at #3 and it was amazing! We had a sink, fridge, microwave, toilet, and shower. We were able to allow our kids to sleep in their own bunk beds so I didn’t have kids rolling over us all night. The woman who runs the gift shop area was super sweet and helpful! It was super convenient to bearizona, as well as rout66! We will definitely be coming back to explore all the other train cars. And it had a patio so we were able to put our kids to bed and sit on the patio and chat.

There truly want anything we didn’t like about the property!

It is a great alternative to the run of the mill hotels, quirky scenario but works well. Rail carriage was Comfortable AC didn’t work properly on our arrival as soon as we reported it the maintenance guy came over in less than 5 minutes and fixed it. Owner was very warm and approachable

Only there for 2 nights and all was as advertised

Very nice place, comfortable and clean. The outside is curated and looks great, rooms might not be modern in furniture but comfortable. Plus, A/C is new and silent, very useful in warm summer days. Location is perfect to visit Williams and reach the Grand Canyon. I would definitely stay here again.

Number 1 the staff. Nicky and her husband are friendly and helpful beyond all expectations. Number two the ginormous crispy clean fresh smelling super comfy bed. Number 3 the location is great. Right beside main road but quiet and no undesirable types staying there at all.liked everything. You must check in before 9:30 pm but that suited us.

This place was one of a kind! The room was exactly as described and we really had a great time! The shower was by the entrance door - which may be slightly weird if you aren’t super comfortable with the people you are staying with - but otherwise, it was really great!

Parking for check in was a bit far away - but there were signs indicating where to go!

Staying in a caboose is a memorable experience. The motel isn't far from downtown, and supermarket. Th receptionists are very informative about the area.

The toilet clogged every time we threw used paper towels in the toilet. We had to use a plunger that was provided. It would be helpful to warn a guest about it.

We stayed with The Canyon Motel and RV Park for a family trip to the Polar Express. Naturally, we HAD to sleep in the Caboose! The room was as advertised and well appointed (although, I do recommend maybe a table in the main room with the Queen bed to add another space for eating, playing games, etc). To add to the vibe of the weekend, it ended up snowing in Williams. The Caboose does have heat but the space heaters provided helped a lot especially in the back with the bunk beds. To say the kids had a blast is an understatement! The boys had a blast in the snow and playing around the train car also playing at the Motel's playground that came with a gutted out speedboat. The staff was very friendly and informative on the town and where to eat, etc. On our next trip to the Polar Express, we will be staying here again!

As stated above, an additional small table would be a great add to the caboose for another place to eat and play games.

Great place! Stay in the train! Such a cool room. :)

A little chilly in the bathrooms of the train rooms as they are near the doors so anyone showering must wait for people to go in or out the main door before exiting the shower stall by the door. Still Very Cool Stay! Would do it again. :) Just be prepared for an ackward shower experience. 😄

Lovely vintage motel. Simple, clean and quiet surroundings. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was nice that they offered a variety of sundries in the shop and with reasonable prices.

The cable/satellite for the tv was a fuzzy connection, so, we did not watch any tv. Not necessarily a dislike, it just was poor reception.

location is great not far from the grand canyon, room was clean, bed was a bit outdated but still good

that i had reserved the train car and was given a regular room, according to rain and snow damage but yet I saw cars parked in front of one of the trains
