Price for 30 min drive to visitors center at grand canyon was great. No odd smells. Girl at check in was super busy, but showed an incredible amount of composure when confronted by an irate guest over the wifi Quality. She looked young but was very calm and acted like a professional. I'd a told him to pound sand.

light on vanity hanging loose. Toilet seat was broken. Totally obvious. So whoever cleaned it, apparently didn't bother to address it. Beds where too soft for me. Heat fluctuated between too hot and too cold. Very dated. I'm telling it like it is, but I'd stay again. Cheapest price around and good enough for me.

The staff was extremely friendly at the Inn, and the restaurant was amazing!!! I like that there is a gas station next to it. There is also a cute store with a ton of gemstones!

I was surprised to find out the room I selected was in the motel (across the street) and not in the Inn. This app should specify which property your room is in. There wasn't anyone attending the motel, so it felt kinda like a creepy 1 horse town. There is not much provided in the room. No refrigerator. 1 small cup of coffee for a 2 bed room. Had to split with my husband before we went to the restaurant. It was not very accommodating. Beds were kinda lumpy. It was difficult to get the door key to work. It was nice to be closer to the Grand Canyon, but with the price of these rooms, I'd shop around next time.

Staff, front desk and restaurant, were extremely nice. Room was comfortable. They sent a lot of helpful information prior to our arrival.

Location is good although after our visit, if we could have done it differently, we would have definitely stayed closer to the park entrance. We hiked all day for 2 days and the 40 min drive to the hotel was personally too much for us when all we wanted was to go straight to bed and rest. We didn’t have hot water during our whole stay - expect warm water, but not hot. Definitely come prepared with water and food. The restaurant comes in handy but food is not great. There is a gas station right next to it that has snaks for an emergency.

Food at the site was very good and the staff was very nice and helpful. I was traveling with a disabled family member and they were quick to put our family in a lower unit because the motel didn't have an elevator.. The location was farther away than we thought, but the price more than made up for the travel time overall I was impressed with the motel enough to recommend a nights stay.

Distance to our final destination was 30 miles, and that breakfast was only available after 7 a.m.. Only other items was there was no microwave in the room. They had one in the lobby, but at 2 a.m. I was not walking to heat up leftovers! 😁

We was apprehensive about our stay here (at the motel, not the lodge) due to the negative reviews, but I feel like it is being unfairly judged. we have been traveling the Southwest for 2 weeks, and have stayed in several hotels and inns along the way, so I feel qualified in saying that this place was pretty decent, especially for the price! Here is what we liked about the property 1) location to the South entrance of the Grand Canyon. 2) restaurant and full bar across the road from the motel. 3) proper slice of Americana 4) smart TV so we could sign into our streaming services. 5) weekdays there is a food truck at the neighboring RV site, that you can buy breakfast and decent coffee from. 6) the badly drawn portraits on the front door of each motel room cracked me up. 7) access to an outdoor pool (at main lodge, not at the motel) 8) gas station and convenience store at location 9) hotel and restaurant staff were really friendly despite being short staffed and over worked. Both the lodge and the motel were slammed.

The air conditioning worked intermittently, and it was pretty durn hot (traveling in mid June). The curtains were paper thin, so once the sun was up light flooded the room, and also added to the internal temperature of the room. No refrigerator, glassware or coffee maker. We traveled with a cooler so it wasn’t a big deal for us, so we could store water and snacks.

BE VERY CAREFUL when booking these rooms, because it is very misleading. We inadvertently booked bunkhouses in the "motel" while the good rooms (and pool and amenities) are in the 'inn'. The clerk was very helpful and upgraded us to rooms in the motel. Those were really good and close to the pool.

BE VERY CAREFUL when booking these rooms, because it is very misleading. We inadvertently booked bunkhouses in the "motel" while the good rooms (and pool and amenities) are in the 'inn'. The bunkhouses are a disaster! electricity was faulty, No room for our suitcases. Avoid at all costs!!!

The rooms are clean, quiet, and attractively built with a wild west theme. The reception is friendly and efficient. Plenty of off-road parking right outside the rooms. The local area has no significant facilities but there is food available at the motel and both Tusayan & Williams are a short drive away. Set on the main road north of Williams it is perfectly placed for a visit to the Grand Canyon which is an easy 30-minute drive away.

There is heating available, but rooms can be chilly, and only lightweight bed coverings with single pillows are provided. Extra bedding may be available at reception but we didn't enquire.

The reservation process was easy. The staff was friendly and the property was impressive. My room was wonderful and my bed and bedding made for a very good restful sleep. The property was quiet at night, not loud in the day either. The check out process was simple. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much.

The description "South Rim Entrance" made me think it was close to the entrance of the Grand Canyon Park. I could have researched better to see how far it actually was. That was my wrong. I was please with the location and loved my stay.

location close to Grand Canyon, parking

staff wasn't here for checkin!! the cleaning lady kicked me out of the lobby saying that someone should arrive "around 4pm" when chekin was allowed from 3... then there was a queue bc we were many waiting. there's 2 building and I was in the one away, separated by a dangerous road, so no pool. old building that's getting older without repairs and maintenance. all glory in the 90's I would imagine, but falling apart. coffee machine didn't work either
