The staff and the facilities are what really sets this place apart. Our room was quite small, but clean and comfortable. There are so many facilities to explore: --lounge, rec room, pool (with a bar), tavern, lookout points-- that keep you from feeling trapped in a small room. The general store is open long hours and has everything you need. It was a pleasure to walk there and stroll the grounds with my morning coffee. The staff is what really sets it apart. They are so helpful and welcoming.
I'm nit picking here - the wine list in the tavern could be better - but I'm a total wine snob and the cocktails are great. I had to send back a tofu scramble that was inedible, but it was taken off the check without a problem and other meals at the tavern were delicious. Also, everything about the Evergreen is so pleasant and easy that the missteps don't take a toll on the overall experience.

The staff is friendly, especially Danny from the restaurant. He made our dining experiences extra special. Thanks Danny! The food is excellent. Very family-friendly with good playground and entertainment options for kids. Free S’mores every night was a hit.
Pool could’ve been a bit warmer, hot tub a bit cooler. The general store could’ve been a bit better stocked. Some popular items (big bottles of water, grab-n-go options) were quickly sold out on some days. Food options pricey but probably what we would expect in Yosemite. Food quality was good so we felt it was still worth it.

Good location to Yosemite Park. Stayed in a one bed cottage. Cottage location was fantastic. Complimentary guest services. Views for sunset amazing. Reception staff welcoming and very helpful.
Although room cleaning was complimentary, no basic cleaning was done, no replenished tea/coffee/towels/ bin emptying, cleaning each day. Staff in restaurant not pleasant on the two nights we used it. Price for food at a premium. Wedding which took over most of the lodges for two of the four nights stayed. The wedding day was noisy and didn’t give us the experience of staying at Evergreen that we expected. This was not something we expected when booking…… expensive stay to be kept awake until 3 in the morning.

The location was really special, the staff was super nice and helpful and we did one of the organised tours (Wonders) which was really incredible. Tom - our guide - was extremely prepared about the history, flora and fauna of Yosemite and he answered our questions all day! He also gave us great tips for what to explore the next days on our own. Thank you Tom for your dedication!
We got upgraded to a family cabin which was great. However the room had a constant big water stain on the floor and smelled because of it. We raised the issue with reception but unfortunately this was not resolved for the four nights we were there. We wondered if it wouldn't have been better if we had just stayed in the room we booked originally

We spent 2 nights at Evergreen Lodge and honestly wish we could have stayed for a month! It was the perfect place to experience the Yosemite vibe. Highly recommended for families – there’s everything you need for relaxation, with games for both kids and adults, great communal spaces, and a pool. After a long day of hiking, it was great to stroll around the lodge grounds and explore the communal areas. In the evenings, we enjoyed BBQing and grilling, and there were board games available for everyone. Everything was absolutely perfect. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the cabins and rooms had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. It was incredibly refreshing being here, and we left feeling recharged by nature. I highly recommend this place to couples and families alike.
The only small downside is that it's about a 40-minute drive from the national park entrance, but it's definitely worth it!

Fantastic location, and really lovely place with lots of great facilities. The staff in the recreation centre were super helpful sharing info on best sights and top tips etc.
Some of the furniture and fixtures in the cabin were tired and worn and there were stains on the carpet. The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay despite taking up the offer of ‘complimentary housekeeping’. Beds were made but the cabin wasn’t vacuumed and bins weren’t emptied. Some of the staff were really great but sometimes it felt like guests were an inconvenience, Particularly in the shop. Having said that our stay was in peak season and it was very hot so I can imagine it was hard work being enthusiastic all the time.

This is an absolute gem of a glamp/cabin site. The pool is wonderful and the tents very comfortable. Good facilities like the shared camp bathroom and laundry. Bear boxes for food. Beautiful location and the sunsets are incredible. General store and reception staff helpful and friendly.
Tavern and restaurant a little underwhelming. Only one washing machine to 3 dryers so a constant queue. Playground seemed to be shut up one day (not sure why). But this is nitpicking as its an incredible place all round and we would stay again and again!

Location - As close as you could get to the park entrance and in the middle of nowhere, which is what we wanted. Still a fairly long drive to get into the Valley. Facilities - everything you need is on site. You could spend a day or afternoon just onsite and have things to do. Staff - the activities team were great. Ali planned our hikes in Yosemite, recommending some beautiful but less popular places
Due to the location the restaurant/ bar are the only option unless you take a long drive to the nearest town. It's therefore quite expensive.

The lodge is lovely, well located. We stayed in the two bedroom accessible family cabin which was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and the overall experience was great.
The major disadvantage is lack of dining options except lodge restaurant. Given that cooking is not an option in the lodge and the nearest alternative is 50 min drive, one doesn’t really have a choice. In the restaurant the food is costly and the selection doesn’t necessarily justify the cost.

Exceptional property and a blast for families with kids. The tents are super clean, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The restaurants serve great food but our favorite part was the poolside BBQs and epic playgrounds with ziplines! The pool was heaven on hot July days and the staff helped reccomend and plan fun activities. The location is perfect for hikes adn exploring outside the main Yosemite park and honestly we didnt feel the need to leave at all!
