An exceptional value in a charming, beautifully clean and organized family-run motel with views of Morro Bay but a quiet residential setting at the south end of town. The quality is consistent and staff very friendly and hard working. I've been coming here for over a decade and enjoy returning to the same room each time for an annual break. This motel is a tightly run ship, and friendly, organized staff work hard and maintain consistently high standards at a very good price.

Amenities like the microwave and fridge are getting a bit old and worn in the room I rent at this point and this time I did notice that the bed sagged badly on one side and bedding has now got very thin and not really warm enough now the quilts previously used have been replaced by a simple bedspread. All are kept very clean and in repair, though, and these are small quibbles.

The entire property including workers make you feel welcomed and feels homey.

Well you get what you pay for, this place isn’t where your going to live in. It pays for its purpose sleep, shower, relax a bit and head out. There are some things that can be improved but not like a big issue; the floor tile a bit worn down(but clean), microwave didn’t spin when warming up, tv remote hard to use doesn’t respond maybe dead battery or weak, lighting a bit dark in night time inside but for what this trip was intended for was spend the least amount of time in the hotel.

Located on main street, minutes from beach, trails and food Wonderful weather, otters, seals, and miles of beach and surf sits between Cayucos and Los Osos ( Montana De Oro state park) Staff is always pleasant rooms are clean tv is basic cable but I am there for the sites not to sit in my room

Super clean room. Location short walk to water, shops and restaurants. Nice amenities, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, coffee maker. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Good Wi-Fi.

It was a cold weekend and the bed had only a single blanket with no extras in the room. The wall heater was perfectly adequate for comfort but I prefer a quiet and cool room at night so an extra blanket would have been nice. The hot water was cooler than I liked. The walls are thin so if you sleep lightly you should hope for quiet neighbors.

A few blocks south of downtown and roughly 5min from the water by foot So it's pretty quiet, no major traffic or freeway noise Rooms are standard for all hotels in the area,(mini fridge, microwave, mini coffee pot, mini wall heater, etic) rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable A soda vending machine is located next to the office along with ice machine

It's a working hotel, which means one can always find something to be negative about The staff does a good job of keeping it up with no major complaints from me

Clean and efficient Inn to stay at while in Morro Bay. We could see Morro Rock from our 2nd floor room. The heater worked very well, it was February when we were there so a bit chilly at night. The check in fellow was super nice, friendly and helpful. First impressions always go a long way and he was terrific! Also, a good sized refrigerator in room which is also helpful for food leftovers from restaurants on Embarcadero Street.

There was no alarm clock in room. Also, the coffee machine is very dated, would have liked a Keurig one instead.

The hotel staff were very friendy and provided an easy check in and check out. Free parking with plenty of open spaces. Great location within walking distance to the waterfront. Clean and large room. A bit dated but well maintained with a huge hot shower.

The walls were a bit thin, so if you are a light sleeper on a busy weekend it might be best to find another place. Also, this looks to be a pet friendly hotel so if you have allergies you should be aware of that.

This is definitely the cleanest motel I have ever seen! We were there early than the check in time, so I saw how they cleaned the room. The cleaning lady used the disinfectant liquid for every single corner even the window strips. Super incredible! The boss and front desk stuff all very nice. Especially the location is the best, facing to “the rock”

Almost nothing except no AC.

every time I have stayed here, it’s been the best. the location, the rooms, and you can have pets with a small pet deposit!

the day we were packing up to leave we had the window open because they have no ac, the front desk man kept looking into our window and he just looked upset for whatever reason. it started to get super uncomfortable. we left the room very clean so we’re just puzzled.

The location was fantastic and considering how long we stayed, the price was definitely right. The rooms were clean and the staff/management was very helpful (we ended up needing to stay an extra night and they gave us a discount on both the room itself and the pet fee).

The furniture in our room was pretty beat up (one of the chairs had a collapsed seat, doors were scuffed, etc.). There was no conditioner with the shower amenities, only shampoo. The walls are pretty thin so it got noisy at night when the hotel filled up. Biggest issue we had was with water pressure in the shower: there's almost none, so it feels like just standing under a spigot (temperature wasn't a problem though).
