Hotel was clean and comfortable a lot of airline personnel in and out so obviously must be a good place to stay. The downstairs deli was very good. We had several meals there, including some breakfasts and some lunches.

In my mind the overall value for the dollar is not a strong because of the room size and location with the infringement of the homeless population so near the hotel. We didn’t feel comfortable walking several blocks in that direction after daylight. San Francisco has to do something about these issues soon or it will affect their tourism.

Location is perfect. rooms clean and well equipped easy check in and check out great pool!

Breakfast is expensive ( $48 adult/ $24 child) and overpriced cafe in the hotel. shame really but there is a gorgeous cafe called Cafe’ Central on the same rd 4 minutes down the street serving incredible food from 7am until 6pm and is great value for money too.

As always, the staff was amazing- We had an issue in our first room (The surfaces were covered in greasy fingerprints, and the window was so filthy from the inside and outside that it made the view hard to even see, which let's face it, the view is what we paid for!) The staff was 100% accommodating and got us moved to a cleaner room with the same view within 15 minutes!

We skipped the free breakfast because there was around 50 people in line. A better way to serve multiple people would be my only suggestion! Also, the side we stayed on overlooks a police department. Which even on the 35th floor, we heard sirens all night. I would not bill that side of the hotel as "Quiet"

Location, security, convenient store, bar.

The extra $25.00 daily charges for food and beverage.

The location was superb. Only a few minutes to drive to Golden Gate, Japan Town, China Town, Golden Gate Park etc. Lots of eateries nearby and shopping centres/malls too. We had a long stay and therefore lots of clothes to wash. However, there's a laundromat nearby within walking distance. Walking distance to Powell St cable car.

Parking in the hotel was expensive. There are other parking places remarkably close with much lower prices. However, if that doesn't bother you then look no further.

I liked how clean it was and the sign postings letting people know how to get where and the easy checkout process. The staff were also very helpful and very nice.

Finding the self-parking garage was a little complicated since there's also a parking garage down the street from the front entrance and the Hilton parking garage is around the back of the Hotel. The garage itself was more like a maze but at least getting to an elevator is easy no matter what floor you park on.

Great location. Good value. Perfect for business stay. Comfortable. Stunning rooftop bar with views of city. Outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi was unexpected and fab. Gym well equipped. Blackout blinds in room. Room was quiet. Powerful shower. Helpful staff. Fastest room service I’ve ever experienced.

It’s an old hotel so can’t expect it to be plush. Room decor fine for business travel but would have been disappointing for a leisure / couple trip.

Love San Francisco, and the hotel location couldn't really have been better once we knew our way around.

We stayed at Hilton hotels quite frequently on our journey from LA, eating in the restaurants most mornings for breakfast. At $25/ each in LA, it was pricey for a family of 5, but it set us up for the day. Imagine our surprise in SF when it was $49/each. $250 +tax + tips was too much for a family. We used it once, as we would have been late for an excursion, otherwise. On subsequent days we wandered around the city for cheaper alternatives, which was a little disappointing to have to do. Great hotel otherwise, though.

We started with an amazing receptionist who helped us get settled in with two dogs. We were on vacation for the OutsideLands Music Festival. The property has security and police presence at night which was extremely reassuring to take the dogs out.

There was a rude concierge that did not know proper dog policy. Also, the nighttime indoors guard was a bit impolite in regards to showing our hotel key to get inside the building when we were going in and out with the dogs. There was no parking available for the Hitlon car garage but the parking structure across the street was more than sufficient.

I came for one night after a disastrous first booking in the Bel Air Hotel (don't go there). I found everything I was hoping for: cleanliness, calm, excellent bed and bathroom, and friendly staff. One staff member even went out of his way to refill my water bottle when one of their water machines was out of filtered drinking water. I recommend the place.

Nothing I can think of. Good job.
