Very comfortable rooms, nice location. Our room overlooked the pool, which was being used by everyone! The pool closed right on time, and there was no issues with noise after the pool hours. We were on the 2nd floor and we did not hear any noise from the rooms overhead.

Not very welcoming. You do not enter a small office to check in, you walk around a little corner to a small window to be checked in. Unfortunately it was quite chilly due to the evening ocean wind. The young man that checked us in didn’t do anything wrong, but he didn’t smile at all, didn’t welcome us and overall just was not very pleasant.

the location was nice. glad that they could accommodate pets. the room was clean

the bathroom was a bit shoddy. as in the tub was marked up, the drain plug was missing. the caulking around the tub was peeling and dirty. the dish satelitte went out but only for a few hrs so it was okay. the parking lot is very tight and hard to get in and out and feels as if you leave at a certain time of day, there wouldn't be any parking left.

The room layout was perfect. We left our 1 yr old at home but next time, we will definitely bring him. The room was laid out perfectly with enough space for a pack and play without being in the way. And we fit our double stroller in the room no problem. The walk to the boardwalk was quick. The room was clean and the area was pretty quiet. Would definitely recommend for families with small kids. And we would definitely come back.

The room was really big, the bed very comfortable and the water pressure from the shower was awesome. The staff was really friendly and helped with everything we asked. We loved that they were very pet friendly, we went with our cat and it was super.

The only bad thing is the wi fi!! Seriously, is totally unstable and doesn't even load a YouTube video. You guys need to invest more in a good internet!!

Room was spacious and had a door separating 2 bedrooms, 2 families traveling together. A/c and heater for each bedroom was nice! 2 sets of sinks were very convenient! Pool area very clean, pool and spa very pleasant Temps, towels provided were a nice touch! Traveled with service dog.

People loudly talking at 1-3 a.m. directly in front of our room, like a meeting! Tapping/banging on the walls, outside and next room over. Very difficult to stay asleep. We payed extra for a late check out, no receipt given or noted in our room acct. Was contacted by phone and door to leave early, more distraction! Charged 2x's on account to stay later! After checking out of hotel, checked the bank charges after we left and started driving, we had to return to the hotel to have charges corrected!

My family, friends and I have been coming to ocean pacific lodge since I was a child and never been disappointed in the stay. Unfortunately The price is high especially weekend rates do to being in Santa Cruz and close to the boardwalk but other wise a great place to stay with friendly and accommodating staff. Being pet friendly also is a huge plus

The price increase on weekends since it’s already on the higher price and usually when We are in town and would love to be able to afford to come for more then one night because the cost goes above $ 300 a night.

We arrived late on a Saturday eve with little hope of finding lodging because many hotels didn't take pets. We were so tired and so relieved to arrive at such a cool location. My hub. suddenly remembered having stayed there before, for our son's surf contest years earlier. It had the same familiar vibe. Great place to explore and walk the dog...wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back in the off-season, if there is one!

Location and staff were great. I avoid needing housekeeping while I stay places and they were very accommodating when I needed extra towels and garbage bags. Room was clean but did need a few areas that needed a duster or minor patching.

WiFi could use an upgrade. I have 2 young boys and could have used a break from them asking a million times in an hour when we would go back to the Boardwalk when my husband and I were trying to recover from the morning activities. Beds and pillows were very firm.

Location is great, rooms are fairly small but overall just fine. We had the basic room as well so all things being equal very nice. Water pressure was amazing!!!

I didn’t like the people’s dogs above me. So loud, the staff was very accommodating about our complaints and offered to move us.

Rooms should have a couch or a comfy stuffed chair so you aren't sitting or laying on the bed all the time. It's the main reason I will look for a different place next time. Doesn't seem like a lot to ask, but maybe they do in a few larger rooms. I need to ask.
