The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable and I loved having more then 2 pillows. The staff were friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable. The water in the shower and sink were hot not luke warm.. loved that. They have a very nice pool and if I ever stay there again I would get a room next to it.(lil extra) They also have a bar and grill. Happy hour prices were good.

I understand here in California we are in a drought.. But the water pressure/shower head were horrible. I had to use the ice bucket to fill up water to rinse my hair of shampoo/conditioner. And ice machine was not working in building #3 , had to walk to Building #1. (with that said, at least they offer ice)

We had a very nice two-night stay here with our girls - our room was very clean, comfortable, and on the “far side” of the property so very quiet as well! the location was great for us as we wanted to do the Boardwalk and hang out in Santa Cruz yet also be away from the activity of downtown at the end of the day. We had dinner at the restaurant our first night and it was great. We swam in the pool both evenings after dinner despite the chilly air; the kids loved it and enjoyed a nice hot shower after as well :) This was a wonderful affordable option for us and we will be coming back the next time we visit SC. Also appreciated the morning coffee! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful; thank you.

The front desk staff as well as bar staff were very nice, friendly and welcoming! Room as usual was clean and inviting! Bed was super comfortable! Plenty of parking too! This place is our family go to when visiting Santa Cruz!

All very minor: The showerhead, like most hotels, was terrible and sprayed everywhere with not much water pressure. (Shower space itself was large and upscale :)) Could have more than one type of coffee as well as more than only one flavor of muffin in the morning.

The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed.The table and chairs were very nice. The climate control worked very well. The room was quiet and peaceful and the Landscaping around the buildings was beautiful.

It would have been nice to have some comfortable seating, like an easy chair. Some counterspace in the bathroom would also have been helpful.

Room was very nice, staff very knowledgeable, complimentary muffins & coffee every morning was very nice, swimming pool was large and well maintained, restaurant was very good and affordable, room price thru Booking.com was good, location was very good. When the power went out, staff did their best to accommodate us, providing flashlight & glow sticks. Luckily, power restored in 2 hours.

Not a problem, but with a reservation for 4...bath accessories (towels, shampoo, etc) only for 2. But, front desk easily gave us more.

Our room was clean. The beds were really comfortable and my family and I enjoyed the pool. Really nice

OMG we stayed on a Thursday night and at 5:00 am there was a garbage truck so very loud. Again around 7:15 am there was another garbage truck ☹️ We didn’t sleep after 5:00 am. FYI we stayed in one of the rooms to the left of the lobby.

The room was a little small but the beds were very comfortable. Also I liked the convenience of having a restaurant on the site. It would have been even better if the restaurant served breakfast.

The path leading down to the pool was very steep which worked fine for the kids but it was a litttle difficult for me with a sensitive knee.

It is so SERENE! Close enough to boardwalk but far enough that it’s peaceful.

The construction zone in the front but understandable. Also, by next summer it would be GREAT if there was additional LATTICE installed ALL AROUND the pool so it doesn’t look like it’s “under construction”.

We only got coffee and pastries on one of the two nights we were there, but it was good when we did.The scones are delicious! Staff is super friendly and engaged with our children and us. Plenty of parking...rooms and grounds are clean! Wished we tried the on-site restaurant. Great for families with small kids.

While the heated pool was a hit with the kids and us...there was a sewer smell that came wafting over at times.

Easy check in/out, pool was nice, coffee and pastries for breakfast and onsite, very good, restaurant and bar. Super easy access to property, hi way and the beach.

There were no dressers or cabinets in my room in which to store clothes.
