We absolutely loved the location! Close to the ferry into San Fracisco and to restaurants and shopping-all within walking distance! Our view was amazing and our concierge, Robin was so very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay in Sausalito very memorable. Robin was there to greet us each evening and shared so many tips for navigating the area, including the nearby marina views and a local festival. Truly a magical stay!
The only improvement I could see was the contacts for the electrical plugs...the phone chargers didn's charge in a few.

Everything about this place was peaceful, I felt like I added value to my life just having this 2 day experience!!! Refreshing, organized and just amazing to all the senses.
Staff named Robin, very impatient, easily frustrated with things asked of her. This staff member embarrassed my wife and I in front of other costumers waiting to check in. Honestly, amazing experience until we needed to speak to Ms. Robin. I will never stay here again because of how rude she was. 700$ for room and parking and my wife's bday, should not have to experience her meanness. She apologized the first time, but not worth it if she's there. We are a non confrontational family...smh

We have stayed here before; we love the historical charm, its location, and the sort of b & b feel of the place. This is definitely our go-to place, perfectly located to everything you need, the ferry, restaurants, leisure walks, etc.
When we arrived at the room, it had a strong smell, and the heater was not functioning very well (keeping in mind it's historical). However, the host gave us a space heater, which worked perfectly well. The combination of that and the opening of the windows seemed to eliminate the smell, which I presume may simply be from the fact that it's a very old building. Nonetheless, we loved the charm of the place and we will definitely be back for another stay.

The location was perfect. The value was really good. The room was very nice and offered a fabulous view. The bathroom was very well equipped with lots of towels and toiletries. Overall, the hotel was quaint and in keeping with the experience one thinks of having when visiting Sausalito.
Only one thing was not up to par. The mattress in my room was like sleeping on a marshmallow. It was mushy, and I just sank in until the springs flattened out. Perhaps the springs were worn out because the bed offered no support. IMHO.

Wonderful location. Walking distance to everything of interest. Very comfortable room with great bedding. Convenient (paid) parking within easy walking distance. I could imagine the lot being full though during high season. I had to wait about 15 minutes for a slot to open when I arrived early afternoon on a Saturday. The AC worked well and there was a well supplied coffee/tea set-up. Great water pressure in the sink and shower. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Sausalito and will definitely return and choose this hotel again!
Initially, I was put off when I arrived and discovered a note on the door to call a cell number to arrange check-in. However, a gentleman showed up within 5 minutes and explained the access procedures to me. There was seldom anyone at the front desk, but there was truly no need either. It was like staying in a small apartment building, coming and going in safety as I pleased. So, not technically a complaint!

Hotel staff called to confirm the room arrangements and parking areas available. Historical hotel with character and class. Safe locking systems in place and elevator for ease. Room was cozy yet efficient, with big bed, huge closet and bathroom. Nice view and old world charm. Very close to pubs and grills, just off the water.
Parking crowed, but expected for SF.

This location is absolutely perfect as its on the waterfront adjacent to the ferry terminal and close to everything you need to see/enjoy in Sausalito including the marina, restaurants, an amazing bookshop and so many others....................!! Parking is 25 yards from the front door! Walking everywhere you need is on the flat unless your visiting some lucky locals up the side streets! :-)
Not sure if there are any facilities at this hotel as I only stayed one night and was out most of the time and only saw reception? If you check out early no one will be at the front desk to do any admin as yiu just leave your keys as I did.

This is a cute hotel in a great location. We had a great room with a wonderful view. Some rooms are smaller. Make sure you know what specific room you are booking. Also love the patio with plants.Great place to read and chill.
Nothing. It was a great place for the wedding we attended and we were very comfortable. The location was outstanding as we could walk by the water.

We are repeat customers. The staff is always helpful and kind. The view from the rooms is lovely, and the hotel location couldn’t be more convenient to shops, restaurants, and water. Bathrooms are good size.
The rooms are a bit small and more outlets by bed would be useful to charge devices. Even adding a lamp with USB port or place to plug in would be helpful.

The staff were so friendly and they upgraded our room for no charge. The location of the property is awesome, you can walk to everything: shops, restaurants, bars, views. Our favorite is the Barrel House Tavern because of the view and a great happy hour.
The coffee in the room was great, but this property did not have a breakfast option and it was hard to find something inexpensive near the hotel.
