Great location! We walked to Heavenly Village both nights (lots of restaurants and shops), and also walked to the gondola both days for skiing. We had easy access being on the first floor, so were able to park right outside our room for ease of unloading and loading. Our room had a mini fridge but no microwave, which was a bit disappointing. The included breakfast was pretty good - eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and the usual cereal, waffle maker and morning pastries. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful which was great!

There was not much lighting in the room aside from two small bedside lamps and a lamp on the desk. The bedside lamps were all plugged into a power strip between the beds which at one point got accidentally switched off, but a little investigation revealed the culprit.

The location was good—it was two blocks to the gondola. The bed was firm, which is how I like it, but definitely worn in. Breakfast was good and the service personnel kept it clean and restocked with plenty of food.

I asked several staff members at the front desk if the gondola was free for ski pass holders...not one had a clue. One gentleman tried looking it up, and told me I had to pay?!? I extensively tried looking it up prior to my stay online with no luck. We asked one of the local skiers and they said it was free for ski pass holders...so, maybe let your staff know if you have a ski ticket the gondola ride is included.

24/7 lobby with water dispenser +coffee/tea - very convenient. The beds were good. Clean room. Shower cabin and the water flow there is also good! I found everything I needed in the room. And thank you for preheating the room - it was perfectly set The breakfast was great!!!!

The sliding door to the bathroom (room 139) was weirdly installed - not comfortable to squeeze in between the edge of the bed and bathroom entrance.. at least it could have opened to the left, not to the right. The neighbours' noises are very well heard.

The location was great for being able to walk to sights and restaurants. The hotel had it's own restaurant and the hotel gave perks when visiting the restaurant. The staff and the atmosphere was great.

The shower head and water pressure weren't great but welcome to California and the restrictions placed on businesses. The bed was more firm than we like but it was comfortable enough. The parking area that we had to park in was also be used by people eating at the restaurant and not staying at the hotel, which sometimes made it difficulty to find a parking spot. They did have a second parking area but it was a little bit of a walk to some of the rooms.

The property is centrally located and within walking distance of the main touristy thoroughfare of South Lake Tahoe. The room was clean and appointed well enough. Although I heard (and read some in other reviews before I booked our stay) some complaints about breakfast, I thought it was fine and got the job done. I don’t expect a lot from hotels that include breakfast, but I appreciate the convenience. All staff were nice and very accommodating. Overall, I think the hotel provides great value.

I’m just under 6 ft and about 220 lbs. I’m a relatively big guy, but not huge. The shower gets the job done, but it was a bit tight to maneuver in.

The location is perfect. Rooms really clean and smelling good. Good shower! Breakfast beyond our expectations, really good. Coffe, tea ,hot chocolate and water all day at the lobby. really comfortable beds and pillows.

They don’t have a pool or a good lobby ; don’t have a microwave inside the rooms, just one microwave ( dirty of course) in the lobby for all the guests (which for me was not a problem, but can be extremely important for some families with small children.)

I was surprised with additional $30 fee for parking. I wasn't told at any point during making a reservation that there would be any additional fees outside of what my total price for booking was. I found out about this at the hotel on my arrival day. In my opinion, this is deceiving and very dishonest. On the other hand, the parking is an essential part of a hotel booking, and it should be already included in price.

Genuine customer courtesy from day one. I called weeks in advance to ask about transportation from the airport. Jackson took the time to look up the rates for the shuttle. Upon arriving, the two young ladies at check in were very welcoming. Then, at checkout, Charlie send us off with a smile & please come back soon. Also, their choice of breakfast items were phenomenal something filling for all tastebuds.

Hmmm, the bathroom was a bit cold. Then, again it is Lake Tahoe, in later October.

They were out of most breakfast items until the truck delivered it on Thursday morning, (we checked in on Sunday) but it was a typical continental breakfast, with instant oatmeal, cold cereals, milk, coffee, teas, toast, English muffins, bagels, muffins, granola bars and apple slices. The rooms were pretty clean, roomy, and the bed was comfortable. We both loved the jet powered bathtub!! The room had a refrigerator, iron and ironing board, a tiny little coffee pot with coffee (we are coffee snobs, so we always bring our own coffee pot and coffee), and a blow dryer. There is not a microwave in the room, but they will let you use the one in the breakfast area whenever you want. The staff was so very friendly and accommodating!! Katrina was my favorite desk clerk!

There is no in room microwave, but if you request one and one is available, they will bring one to your room. They said that their power grid wasn’t strong enough to be able to put a microwave in every room, which is understandable. The restaurant’s food was not very good, but they had recently reopened, so they might have a few kinks to work out.

Location was perfect and easy to find and with ample parking. The fireplace was a nice touch,especially in September when the nights were drawing in and cooling down.An added bonus was the hotel bar which served some gorgeous ribs,washed down with probably the cheapest drinks in town.

We,as a couple did enjoy the complimentary grab and go breakfast ,which suited our needs as early starters but i was told by a couple of families that if you were not there sharpish,it had pretty much been picked clean.Not really a criticism but it maybe to other folk. Apart from that we had a great experience in a fantastic part of the world.
