The staff was very friendly and informative and the suite was lovely. I loved the kitchenette and the pool was the perfect temp. Breakfast was better than some I have had and not as good as others so I was able to find something I could eat every morning.

The pool needed a good deep cleaning, although I have seen much worse, and the hand soap dispenser was falling of the wall in my bathroom (adhesive was letting lose). Other than that there were only some minor cleaning things that anyone who has to clean multiple rooms a day would probably miss.

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great.

When I arrived at 1 pm on a Thursday in the off season, it was clear that the hotel was quiet / not busy. I went to the front desk with hopes I could drop my bags into my room and change. I was told my room was ready but would have to pay $25 to get into it at that time. I completely understand charging extra for early check in when you are busy or when housekeeping needs to make special accommodations to have a room ready early. But that was not the case at all. I was pretty disappointed to have to sit and wait for an hour, for really no reason, especially as a Hilton Honors Rewards member that always chooses your hotels over the others.

We arrived in Lewes the day after Christmas. We had a rough holiday due to my mother being sick and mother in law in the hospital so we were really looking forward to just two days away to relax and have fun. This might seem long but you’ll see my point shortly. Prior to check in we went to a local brewery and then went for lunch. We were excited about going to this seafood restaurant as we had been to its sister one in the past. Sadly the bartender was not remotely friendly or pleasant so we cut our lunch short due to her attitude. It was disappointing. So we decided to head to the hotel and check in. That’s when the tables turned. We arrived to Cletus (apologize if not spelled correctly) and WHAT A JOY!! He was smiling and friendly- he had Holiday Spirit. We as well talked to him later that night and same great personality and care. We enjoyed good food, drinks, and shopping in town and it’s probably not often that you hear a hotel representative is one of the highlights of a weekend like this but he was. This is always personal choice, so we know you can’t make everyone happy, but our bed was sooo sof and mushy that we didn’t get much sleep either night.

The continental breakfast exceeded any complimentary breakfast that we've ever experienced. The food was hot, fresh and there were many dietary options, including gluten free. There were also kid friendly options. The dining area was clean and well stocked.

While our entire stay was excellent and we would recommend it to all of our family and friends, we would only like to see more streaming options available for entertainment. We would've enjoyed signing into our accounts while we were in our room.

Hotel close to shopping, attractions and good food! Breakfast was hot and delicious with a great assortment of fresh fruits, yogurt and other options including cold and hot cereal and waffle making station which was a hit with our 17 and 7 year old children!

There was a glitch in the system that resulted in our room being assigned as it was believed to have been cleaned and ready but wasn't. Although it was addressed and resolved by the manager it wasn't great sitting around the lobby after spending longer than usual in traffic! So it was semi-negative turned positive as it was handled well by the staff!

Very convenient to the beach and all of the best activities in the area. Cletis was super helpful and was there every evening if our stay and answered.many of our questions. We appreciate his patience. We love how accommodating Home2Suites is for families with pets. All of the other guests seem to love each other's pets too which is fun.

The bed sagged a bit and we rolled a bit to the center, but honestly, that was a very small matter considering all the other conveniences the hotel provides. We will be back.

This hotel met all our needs. Close to great restaurants and all our favorite places in the area. Great coffee, breakfast, salt water pool as well as cozy lobby area. The room was spacious enough for a family of four with two teenage boys.

I didn't realize when I booked that the hotel was pet-friendly. My suggestion would be to keep the pets to one floor. Dogs were roaming all over the hotel, including the breakfast/eating area. My allergies starting acting up within several hours of checking. Also, there was a dog barking several doors down for hours which was really annoying. Please revisit your pet guidelines.

Extremely clean, quiet and convenient to everything; restaurants, shopping, beach. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The property was also pet friendly with exceptional and convenient play and relief areas for our fur babies.

We didn’t dislike anything about the property except the nightly rates in Summer. My husband and I have travelled for our jobs for nearly forty years, both domestically and internationally. We’ve decided this is one of our top ten favorites. Now that we’re retired, we visit the area every month and wish the rates wouldn’t skyrocket in Summer. We wish they would give us the Winter rate for each stay year round because we’re there every 4-5 weeks for one to three nights.
