The location was amazing, right on the beach and close to Ocean Drive. A busy, but laid back atmosphere. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool was fabulous, we can recommend The Lobster Benedict. Had a good nights sleep in the comfortable bed after a long flight from the UK. After two nights we headed to Port Everglades for our cruise.

A long wait a reception to check in, especially when you are tired after a long flight, same checking out. Small room overlooking a huge flat roof and apartments, but you could see the sea, comfortable though.

Breakfast was very good. We ordered room service two of the three mornings we were there. Staff was great! Nice little area for the dog to go to the bathroom. Amenities at the beach were reasonable. Never used the pool. Maybe next time.

Only issue we had is when we received our vehicle back from valet, there was a white rub mark on our silver bumper. The car is being detailed today and I’m hoping it can be buffed out. Besides that, great stay!

Very beautiful location and friendly staff

I had to pay a $600 dollar Security deposit I wasn’t expecting that.

I chose Loews Hotel as it's perfectly convenient in terms of location and the hotel and rooms are very spacious. The different facilities such as the coffee shop, the boutique, the pool, the beach or the spa are great and very accessible. The staff is nice as well and the food is delicious. Housekeeping did a great job everyday, the room was fresh and clean.

Loews is very expensive, not only the price of the rooms but you need to pay extra for almost everything and there's not much complimentary items included in the final price. And for me it was missing something in terms of wit. It's a huge building with a lot of people, staff are very professional and almost robotise. Lack of service, clearing trays from the room and this kind of things. Maybe the hotel is too big to get efficiency. In the end it's convenient and safe but pricy and not very special.

We liked the food in the restaurants ( did not like how expensive it was - for family of 4 you would spend just $500 a day for food and drinks). We liked the kids activities and the possibility to send the kids to kids club ( which we didn’t use because it was $250 for half a day for two kids). We liked the location and the beach.

We didn’t like many things: - You need to pay extra $30 to get fridge in the room - You are not allowed to eat your own snacks on the pool - The pool is too small for such huge hotel and it’s always crowded. If you don’t go at the pool at 7 am you can not get seats near the pool. - You need to pay extra $30 for umbrella on the beach - The lobby is freezing cold…

The hotel itself is wonderful, a mesmerizing entrance hall, and all staff members are always friendly and ready to help. A lovely beach was at a very close walking distance. The breakfast included was very much worth it, we loved the variety and quality of the food. The switch system to let know if the room is ready for cleaning or not disturbing is very clever and useful, even though one day they never showed up.

The pool area was always too full for our taste, laying literally next to a stranger isnt my idea of a relaxing activity. The room was lovely but the air conditioning was a little out of control (when turning off, fresh air would still move around and hit my back directly where I sat down to work on my computer). We were never told that we had to pay to receive packages to the hotel, would appreciate it if this information is given. Otherwise, we had a lovely experience.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with direct beach access. The pool area is so attractive, that in the end we went mostly swimming in the pool, and had lunch on the hotel premises. We had a room with balcony looking out on the ocean, and the sunrise was just stunning. We enjoyed our stay very much and had every comfort imaginable. We would definitely stay at this hotel again on a future trip to Miami Beach.

There are no real complaints, just suggestions: Instead of Fiji water bottles, that have to be paid for, I would offer complimentary bottles of local water. There are water fountains in the pool area where you can fill your own bottles, but I would get rid of the Fiji bottles in the rooms. The room with games for older kids could be bigger and equipped with a variety of arcade games, not just a few screens (but that's not the main reason to go to Miami Beach). I attended a gym class, which I enjoyed tremendously, but I really had to look for it in the spa area. It would be helpful to have a program of activities, better publicised, and maybe offer a group yoga class on the beach in the morning ... for free.

Very clean, staff professional and prompt and great location.

They randomly charged my credit card over $1,000 and said it was a “glitch”. They had no reasonable explanation as to why the charges were pending on my card and could only offer an absolute ridiculous reason that it was a “glitch”. The charges are still “pending” on my card. Not acceptable! Also, one particular staff member (worked the beach area) was very slow coming around to take orders, slow to bring the drinks back and did not provide a table. We waited for at least 25 minutes for him to come around and take our order, 30 minutes to receive the order and did not bring a table to set our items on. Also, the front entry into the hotel smelled like a sewer and our hotel bathroom smelled of sewer as well. smelled Food/drinks outrageously overpriced!

Nothing beats the location! Close to everything. Beautiful hotel, rooms and pool area.

Cost of the resort fees, drinks and breakfast buffet have increased tremendously over the last year up to a point that it's no longer worth it and that we are going elsewhere. $39 + 18% service charge + tax for breakfast, $17 for a little plastic cup of proseco at the pool.

We liked the location, outdoor and pool area, service provided and cleanliness of the hotel. From the moment we checked in until the day we checked out, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to any request with a warm and friendly demeanor. The hotel is conveniently located at the shore of Miami Beach and close walking distance to Ocean Drive. The hotel has its own beach area and offers the same services at the beachside as well. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back again.

Hotel has a great value for money therefore nothing comes to my mind in terms of areas for improvement.
