I loved the location, cleanliness, Ms Luz the manager, the hotel smelled amazing, the pool was small but intimate my friends and I had a great time. loved my room, the shower and balcony. Thankful for the upgrade im not sure if it was courtesy or from being a genius member, but it made my stay much more enjoyable. The location was close enough to, yet far enough away from everything so it was both a lively and peaceful area.

I didn’t like the bed too much, the frame didn’t appear to be sturdy as the bed buckled when you sat on it, however it was comfortable to sleep in. not enough wash cloths in the room, but mgmt fixed it the next day.

The location was very close to most site seeing places. The staff cleaning the room, I forget her name. She is an old lady, very humble and respectful. She did a very great job. I love her services. I was so happy about the way the room look so clean when I return back from the beach.

There no variety of meal on the menu. I was so happy to see the drinks and snacks in the fridge and later got disappointed because I was suppose to pay for each.

The location is ideal if you're looking it be close to everything in South Beach.

Housekeeping was inconsistent. Sometimes they'd clean the room, sometimes they wouldn't, sometimes they'd just walk right on in without knocking. Room service was also odd. Sometimes they'd take your order, sometimes they'd say "use the app" and hang up.

Great location, close to everything, beach, restaurants. Room is very neat. The facility to get free towels and chairs by the beach is really convenient

The lady at the front desk was a bit disappointing. One of the days we had a smoke leak in our room and complained, she listened and promised to check but never followed up or even gave a courtesy call, basically just ignored it

An ideal location in South Beach with a historic vibe, close to Lincoln Road, 5 minute walk to the beach, and friendly staff.

As expected with any hotel, there comes a time for deep cleaning of the rooms, and this time has come for Berkeley Shore. I was in a non-smoking room that consistently smelled like cigarettes, likely converted from smoking to non at some point.

Being charged extra for breakfast after pre-paying for breakfast. Paying extra for umbrella after paying resort fees. All these things not communicated by Booking.com or Staff at the hotel.

- Great location to beach - Nice-sized room (though no views whatsoever, parking lot view) - Very walkable to restaurants, shopping etc. (though not the best of restaurants) - Nice (albeit) small rooftop pool area away from street noise - Great to have a chairs and towels waiting for us at that beach—daily! Umbrella was extra $27/day though :///

Definitely did not feel like a 4-star hotel—very much overpriced. That being said, very friendly, accommodating and warm staff. Clean, decent-sized rooms. Everyone was kind to our pet toy poodle and no one made a fuss about him.

Front desk guy was impeccable!!! Pillows and bed were very good.

A/C wasn't working well. Maintenance did admit a problem. The restaurant staff would ignore you completely. Several times they walked right in front of us, cutting us off and also they let the front door close as they were entering and we were right behind them. Unless you were eating at the restaurant, you didn't exist.

Location was great as you were close to where the busy spots were to walk, but far enough that you could enjoy more quiet area. Easy walk to the beach, easy walk to Lincoln Shopping, Espanola Way, and all main attractions! Room was perfect and the restaurant was excellent

The Room cleaning services I would say were average! But overall nothing to say we disliked about this property, it was great!

The staff is a lot of professional and they help you in everything. I had a problem with the smell a "cigarette" in my room and they said immediately to me to go to another room. It was not necessary because I opened the door of the terrace, but it was a great point. The staff of the bar and restaurant are supernice too. The pool is cool, with no a lot of sun but in Miami is not necessary. The hotel is clean and new. Coffe maker in the room.

My main reason is because is expensive in relationship with quality. Breakfast expensive and regular. The beach is far and when we went in the evening, the staff were closing the chairs and the beach was dirty with cups, food,etc. The room is small because they lose a lot of space with a tiny long hall. No staff in the pool to ask for towels or in the bar of the pool. It is not like a familiar hotel because of the customers, and smell to "cigarettes" some parts of the hotel. No plastic cups in the room (bathroom neither). I had to go to reception because shampoo and soap were finished and nobody refilled them when they cleaned the room. The furniture of the terrace and some stuff in the room had cigarette burn.
