Classic Art Deco building and supreme location. Epic pool for pics but didn’t get much sun. Felt smaller and more intimate than some of the larger hotels nearby. Price was right and my room (Cabana King) had a terrace and view . Check in was smooth and receptionist offered me a few room/view options based on availability even without my asking. Quite nice and rare

Everything is a bit dated and the hotel never manages to feel high-end or have an identity. Rooms feel cold and sterile with low end finishes and weak design. Valet charge is very high at 47.00 a night.

Pool was really beautiful. Proximity to the beach perfect. Location and closeness to Lincoln Drive excellent. The best of all was the super nice and kind front desk lady which gave us an early check-in which we desperately needed after a very long plane trip. That made my day and I am so grateful for that! I did not like the decor as it was too dark for South Beach, with too much black and gold.

Everything is almost perfect, the only somewhat annoying thing is the pairing with BB.

I come to SB/National exclusively for the absolutely divine beach and I find it upsetting that the beach program starts at 9:30 or 10, with a staff absolutely parallel to what the customers want. It's unnatural for the hotel's customers to wait in the sun while the guy who installs the sunbeds and umbrellas puts the umbrellas in places where no one will sit and only after long pleas does he put me, the hotel's customers, who pay for it. And I find it even more revolting that they tip themselves when all the customers are outraged by the services offered.

I would summarize my experience by saying I felt like at home. The staff is so kind and friendly. I arrived at 7 in the morning and the staff allowed me to check in at my arrival. Definitely it made the difference. The room was beautiful and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect. The pool area is amazing. I was always able to find a place there; the hotel provides towels to stay there or in the beach. Definitely I will stay here next time!

I just would add that it was rather impossible to contact the property through Booking DM. Every time I sent a message, an automatic replay was sent that the staff is out for the rest of the day regardless the momento you sent. The hotel is amazing, so I consider it is an important item to be improved to be as amazing as it is.

The staff at the hotel were all very nice - especially the pool staff. Everyone was trying to help and doing so with a smile. Check in/out was fast and easy. The location of the hotel is great and lets you walk all over Miami Beach and South Beach. If you're going to Downtown/Calle Ocho/Wynwood, you'll definitely need to take Ubers/Lyfts, but they are so cheap in Miami that it's no big deal. The hotel itself has signs of being old, but it really didn't actually bother us - the facilities still felt clean. My room had a great view of the pool and beach, although the bathroom was a bit small. The adults-only atmosphere was also great, making it pretty quiet and relaxing.

If you are paying for breakfast it is pretty expensive - even ordering a la carte is kind of insane, but there is plenty you can walk to so you don't need to eat there/ I checked in on a Saturday and checked out on a Tuesday, also during low-season in Miami, but I can imagine it being difficult to get seats at the pool. I had no trouble when I was there but there aren't loads of seats and I did see folks who arrived after me have some trouble getting umbrellas and loungers. Also, and this isn't the fault of the hotel at all - the pool water was so hot! But it was 100 degrees and humid in Miami so it is what it is, even the ocean water was quite warm.

It’s private and a jewel! Close by to many wonderful things. I’ve stayed at both Fontainebleau and The W South Beach and this was definitely my favorite of the three. It was less expensive than the W and way more fabulous than Fontainebleau. I love that it’s an adults only hotel so no screaming bratty kids or annoyed parents. Just chill sexy vibes. Melvin our beach attendant was sweet and attentive. Eric the pool server was on point, fun and super professional. Yanet, our housekeeper was a doll. Top notch staff.

I loved everything about it. Already planning another trip there.

Amazing stay. It was perfect; from the hotel location with the private beach, to the superbs and well cleaned pools with beautiful gardens and much space to relax, to the clean, comfy and quiet room, to the restaurant foods and the staff's, for most of them, very welcoming. Alsp, the no childrens policy is very much appreciated. 5 stars to me.

Personal speakers are accepted in common areas. The swimming pool is a bit cacophonous with the background music from the bar and the music that a few people allow themselves to play. But it's nothing, everything else was A+.

I love the pool area and the service at the pool. I love the dining outside on the veranda. I found it a little too warm and needed more fans. The food was delicious and I enjoyed every minute of my stay. My husband and I will be back.

We found the bathroom too too small. I found it very difficult to put on my makeup because it was no makeup mirror or a makeup table with chair.. The food was excellent but a little on the pricey side. The alcohol drinks were kind of expensive and that is something that needs to be looked into. A lower price of the drinks would be really nice. The overnight car parking is extremely unfair. It will be difficult for my husband and I to get down to Miami because we cannot park our car overnight or Park our car and walk to the hotel. Probably will have to take an Uber. Just not fair

Was not alerted when our room was ready. Had to seek that out for myself. Gave me a vibe that it was intentional because we were spending money at the pool bar. I get it but we would have come back anyway. Would have been nice not to wait so long. We arrived at 10 am and didn’t get a room key until 4pm.

Location is amazing. waking distance from everything. buss stop right next to the hotel. Heated pool is a must in winter months. direct access to the beach is really convenient! very long pool for swimming lovers. Hotel is quiet, no loud music. the hotel next door had a constant music which was a great background music for us. The food in a restaurant was amazing! we had all our breakfast and dinners there.

Everything was great. a tiny thing, our room was right next to elevator and a service room. Service room door was a bit loud in mornings.
