The location was suburb! We enjoyed Icon Park which was less than a 3 min walk up international drive. The pool and hot tub was wonderful as well. We played volleyball with other guest. It was perfect for our 3 day visit to Universal theme parks. The parks were a 10 min drive and the airport was 15 min. Rooms were spacious and quiet. We stayed for 4 days and being that we were poolside on the first floor I was pleasantly surprise at how quite the room was. Slept like a baby. I read many bad reviews about this place but honestly it was worth every penny. Being that I have worked in the hotel industry 14 plus years I know what to look for. Hot shower, they had, quiet room they had and comfortable bed they had. The Houseman was a delight as I request fresh linens daily. We stayed June 4-8 in a king suite with sofa bed.

I did request a fresh mattress pad cover for my bed because there were what appeared to be blood stains on the one we had. The linen were fresh and clean however I guess they do not regularly change the mattress pads. Upon check in it is always a habit for me to do a bed check all the way through. I recommend this for any property because all though it may be policy of the hotel to change them not all housekeepers do depending on their workload.

Late check out very expensive u$ 20,00 per hour

The location is great. Close to Universal studios and the airport. The pool area is great. Great value for the price of the stay. If you are a family and want to save some money so you can spend it on the parks then this is the place to stay.

If you are a couple or solo traveler you may not like the place. It's pretty noisy throughout the day and night. There's going to be a lot of kids around and the walls in the rooms are thin so if you want to just relax and sleep then this is not your place.

I got the renovated room, pool view. It was very nice and large.

The bathroom was NOT renovated. I was looking forward to a nice bath and I didn't. No biggie though. Pool is open until 11p.m. at opens at 7a.m. Wich is cool unless you fall asleep early or want to sleep in and wake up to screaming children (they're having fun though)

the beds are not very good. I had a king bed and the mattress was not my type so I was not comfortable. I was pool side and they were loud a night but did close the pool at 11 pm which was good.

Great Scenery, walking distance to attractions, nice pool and bar, the room looks exactly like the photos, checkin was fairly simple just long.

Pool warmer was off at wrong time. Bed platform screech all night with every turn. Television service is bad, it goes in and out the whole time, could’ve been the rain but still disappointing. weak cell service. VERY Bad customer service from Sergio the guy who checked us in I can’t forget his name due to the not greeting us or even telling anything about the hotel just told us to swipe card for $100 hold. literally didn’t say much of anything and looked like he was a manager AVOID.

Location was perfect for what we needed. Close to restaurants.

Not having to pay extra for an early check-in. We arrived a little earlier than expected from our cruise and would have had to wait over 4 hours to check-in and just unwind.

We loved the pool and location! Tons of stuff to do with your family and kiddos. Room was big enough for my family of 4. Loved being pool side I could see my teenage son. Hot showers and clean room. Overall I would stay again. House keeping was great clean towels and sheet daily. 8/10

Ice machine worked 1st 4 days last 2 I had to buy ice because I bought a cooler with drinks for the family so we didn’t have to purchase them. The bar on poolside was nice but expensive. The big complaint was someone stole my phone from the pool and I got one shipped over night and the staff lost it. After about 5 hours they let me look and I found it.

Room was convenient for small family. Everything was near by pool, laundry. Loved music at the pool. The small market place and restaurant. Housekeeping was very nice

Even though they are in the midst of renovating the room smelled moldy and u can see the vents weren’t dusted. I think it needed a paint job.I had to keep calling for towels and toilet for a room with 4 people and we stayed for 7 days. I don’t know if they short staffed but I waited 2 hours for toilet paper that I desperately needed. But overall if they update these things I would stay again.

The room was very nice and comfortable and upgraded. Great pool view. The room itself has plenty of room for clothing and person items. The shower and bathroom area is very roomy too. Very happy with my room overall.

My only complaint would be having such a delayed check in. Check in is at 4, I arrived early which i completely understand is on me. But when I didn’t get a room until almost 6 I was starting to get frustrated. The girl at the front desk gave me a complimentary beer voucher I could take to the pool bar for a drink while I waited.. that made a huge difference! So that was nice of her. I appreciated that.
