the hotel is still very comfortable even if it’s a little old, the room is spacious and the bed comfortable, the breakfast is awesome, many options to choose from, and at checkin Ariana was extremely helpful and nice to us.

I would personally like if there was a renovation but it’s comfortable just as it is.

Great location if you are visiting the Universal Parks. The hotel is generally very clean, comfortable, well managed and quite well maintained (you can tell it’s been renovated and modernised in many ways). The restaurant was also amazing, quick service, they treated us well as a late walk-in and the food was great. Also loved the pool area, decent sized pool and enjoyed the peace and quite in the early morning. Let’s not forget the free parking too!

It would be better if they advertised the Universal shuttle and services they offer more clearly. They only run in the morning, so if you are checking in in the afternoon and want to arrange something for the next day in the morning it is not possible. The very brief experience we had with the people running the Universal desk was also quite “brush”, we only got a “we’re closed now” with no effort to explain when should we come back and what it is possible to arrange. So much so we opted in to ignore their existence and just walk to the parks as we already had tickets. Also the ice-cream shop was ridiculously expensive (we didn’t even try it), it almost feels out of place in the hotel.

Cross Street From Universal Orlando. Beds and Pillows are Super Comfortable, had Great Nights of Sleep. Complementary Water Bottles and Warm Cookies are a Very Nice Touch. Staff Always Helpful and Very Friendly.

Bathrooms Shower Could be Cleaner… Had some Mold around tiles. Tv have Movie Rentals that range from $3.99/$19.99 up to $26.99 and there is no PIN code of any kind so be aware of you kid with the Remote. It would be Nice if Hotel started doing like a pin of some kind for the rentals like our room number or something that small kids wouldn’t know how to go around.

Upgraded new the front desk. People are so nice and so complementary and they want to give you cookies there was no weight there was no issue with me getting there two hours before check-in. No one gave me a hard time. It was amazing the first place I’ve ever stayed that I haven’t had issues I compete a few times a year in Orlando on the lake. Mary Marriott is awful to check in procedure. They have no trolleys. They have no concierge they have no front desk people they have two it’s ridiculous. DoubleTree is hands-down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and the rate was even more amazing.

Nope! The only thing that was a little inconvenient was the fact that there is a ballroom that you can walk through to get to the other part of the hotel, which is like a convention center. That ballroom was already leased for the time that we were there, so we had to go outside and come back around which in the heat of Florida with all the make up and all the tanning was a bit inconvenient because it was hot, but it was only a short walk and we dealt with it but if we have it there next year I would love to see part of that ballroom not rent it out so that we can get in and out in an air condition fashion. But other than that excellent excellent excellent 10 stars.

I really enjoy the phone app feature that allows me to choose my room and the floor it is on. That is very important to me. I also like the room key feature also on the phone app. The location of the hotel is beautiful and the atmosphere is great! The staff was very professional and friendly and my room was always nice and clean.

There was a little shop in the main lobby that sold gifts and little emergency items, the employee that worked the shop was always rude and seemed to always give some sort of attitude to the guests including myself. It shows a bad image toward the Hilton even though I'm sure it has nothing to do with the hotel. Just a rented space

Everything was extremely convenient for our Universal Studio vacation. Close to walking distance to Universal Studios and City Walk. The pool was an added bonus when we returned from the theme park. There are quite a few restaurants around we ate at Millers Ale house. The staff was very friendly.

I didn’t like how 18% gratuity is added at the bar for 1 to go drink. Also I would not suggest eating at the American Grill unless you are desperate. They are very high priced (Delmonico Steak = $47 NO SIDES). I also wouldn’t suggest purchasing the breakfast. We went to the on-site Starbucks and would get a bagel. Or you can walk to the 24 hr Walgreens a block away and purchase groceries and alcohol.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is right across the street from Universal Studios. There are 2 nice restaurants on property , one with a bar. Starbucks is on site. The pool is large and there is a hot tub..also a fire pit which was nice to just sit by with a glass of wine.

I thought that the price to park was over the top. $29. per day. My granddaughter drove over for the day and there was no "deal" available for just day parking. The price was still $29. even though she did not stay overnight. The "hot" tub was NOT hot. It was Luke warm...so disappointing especially because we had a few cool evenings and a "hot" tub would have felt so wonderful.

In general the hotel was pretty nice, the room was well equiped and big and the location was perfect.

The state of the elevators was poor, always one broke, slow to come, the close door button never worked, and one lost a screw on a large handler which almost fall on our feet. They were understaffed at the reception, on many occasions there was a long line, and the attitude of some of the staff wasn't the best, specially at the internal breakfast place, which was also too expensive for the quality.

The location was great; within minutes of mall, restaurants, and attractions. The best part about it was the location to Universal; this was better than I could have imagined. I loved the free shuttle to the park. The staff and vendor partners were super helpful when asked questions; everywhere I looked, someone was cleaning or wiping the surfaces down. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Every morning, we were greeted as we walked in, and the servers were very attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean. I loved that they asked about having our rooms serviced and allowed me to choose when I wanted them done. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here as well.

I would have liked more pillows on the bed and I think there should be discounted parking if you stay a certain number of days. I think the shuttle to the park could run earlier times. It was so hot we were ready to go but the next time the shuttle was coming back was at 5:25 so it was like we had to stay inside. It would have been easier to drive but when you're already paying to park at the hotel, I didn't want to pay to park at the park.

Perfect for Universal and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The room was good but the carpet looked as though it has seem much better days. We used taxis and felt that hiring a car was going to be expensive with the extra £30 per day parking.

Only the hassle checking in and the confusion caused by the check-in staff followed by their attitude that there was nothing wrong with the hotel it was my fault because I expected to be able to check-in on time at 4pm. They thought that it was totally reasonable that we should be expected to wait up to a couple of hours for our room.
