Loved Kickback, it is even better than our first experience of it, 8 years ago. The selection of both food and drinks was really appreciated. Coffee and soda drinks available all day, as well as popcorn available in the lobby from 4.00pm til 8.00pm are such brilliant touches, too. The staff were excellent without exception, and it was great to see management around at 7.00am, freely speaking with the guests. The location couldn't have been better, with Union Station literally on the doorstep.

There was nothing to dislike. They have really nailed it. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

I dare say it's the nicest hotel I have ever been to, but not too over the top to where you did not feel uncomfortable. It was inviting, yet homey, while keeping that old time charm that so many places and people of today seem to have forgotten! The complimentary food and drinks were awesome! I mean, this hotel really set the bar high for all other hotels in actually being hosts and making their guests feel truly welcomed! I honestly wished we could have stayed a little longer. It was a very pleasant stay!

I liked the free amenities that were provided to us. I liked having the option to have breakfast and dinner in the comfort of my own hotel. The location was right next to the metro and there were many places to visit within walking distance or using the metro.

The AC unit was a little loud, and when it reached the temperature set, it would turn off abruptly.

Hotel is in a great location, easy to get too, across street from Union Station that has been renovated, you have to ride The Wheel! Also has several great retaurants wirhin walking distance, especially the +50 year old family Italian restaurant right in same building. Not to mention friendly staff, great hot breakfast, many choices and if that was'nt enough, from 530pm -7 free finger foods, salad, etc + 3 free adult beverages. Great place to stay, rooms comfy as well.

Really can't think of anything, we have stayed here many times and never have had 1 bad experience.

They served us a buffet style dinner and breakfast, which was great for a single mom with 3 kids! I saved a lot of money on food, which left more money for activities! The location is great, the staff was great, parking was fine, the kids loved the pool and hot tub, and I loved the 3 free adult drinks ! There was also a fountain soda machine available all day, which was great.

The beds were uncomfortable for me , my back hurt all day. Also the one elevator was slow and small for as many families that were there. And the view from our room was an old parking lot.

The curtious staff, everyone was polite and helpful.The free breakfast and kickback hour appetizers were fantastic,it saved my family of 5 a great deal of money,by feeding us. The convenience of the metro. Overall...it was a great stay!

The hotel not honoring my friends and family discount,due to using booking.com. 😔 The expense to park in hotel garage. When we got in our room. The fridge wasn't working and the phone didn't work either. They took care of the fridge and I didn't even mention the phone.

Loved the staff. Great that breakfast and dinner buffet was included plus 3 free cocktails per person per night stay. That was great. Also available was free popcorn every night from 4-8pm.

We could've used another chair in the room. There was room for the extra chair since it was a 2 queen bed room, but we were stuck with just the one desk chair. Plus, the pool was a bit dirty. Also didn't know about having to pay for parking at the hotel until after purchase.

Breakfast was great, and my kids loved the indoor pool. The room was clean, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was nice and comfy, and we didn't have any trouble with noise either.

All small things! The room itself was pretty tight. There wasn't a place to put my suitcase, or a suitcase stand in the closet even. There weren't any extra blankets either, and I was glad we brought one from home. We stayed two nights, and I was surprised our room wasn't cleaned or towels restocked at all during the stay.

Location was great. The on site parking was a great plus. The staff was amazing. There is a restaurant located on the bottom floor, we never ate there but the ability too is nice. Since this hotel is off the main road there is very little traffic noise.

Motion sensor thermostats: who thought this was a good idea. Our first room was 80 when we walked in, went down to the lobby and they said just set it and wait 30 minutes. An hour later 79, they wanted to send maintenance but we requested to switch rooms instead. Second room was somewhat better but after being out all day to come back to a stuffy room was not enjoyable. The shower/tub had a sloped bottom that would hurt your feet if you take long showers. Neither the sink or tub drained well at all. With the cost of the hotel I believe parking should be included in the price. Depending on the floor your room is located you might be required to only have access to one elevator.

It was very hot in St Louis during our visit and the a/c in the hotel was fabulous! Breakfast & "happy hour" food was great and really added to the value of our stay. The bathrooms were very modern & newly redone. The beds were VERY comfortable; hallways were quiet! Location near Union Station was great - could take very affordable trolley from nearby bar to Busch stadium which was an unexpected surprise! The service & staff were awesome!
