Location to local stores and restaurants was good

There were 2 single doors at the end of the building. The left one went into the lobby. Several people sitting outside the door semi crowding getting inside. The right door also accessed the lobby but had the stairs immediately inside to the right and the ice machine next to the stairs. People filling their coolers blocked the hall & staircase so you had to wait until they were done. Our room was spacious but the bedspread was definitely old. The bed was comfortable though. Little League was in town so it was a bit noisy but really not the fault of the hotel itself.

The breakfast had a variety of cold and hot items. We always love to make our own waffles! There was a Nescafe machine that you could have a latte, hot chocolate, and other options. Something for everyone!

When I checked in, the receptionist was not friendly. I doubled checked to make sure I had a non-smoking room and she told me yes. I then pulled out my chapstick and she very quickly asked me if it was a cigarette. I showed her my chapstick and assured her I did not smoke. The next morning I saw her and she was as friendly as can be. That was my one and only negative.

It is family owned and run. The owners are very caring, very hands on! They are there 24 hours a day. The housekeeping staff couldn't be better! Everyone was very accommodating!

Although the fitness equipment is top notch, I would've like to have had more choices.

Vending and laundry

It was a very hot day and no one turned on the air conditioning in the room before I came so the room was blazing hot when I arrived. It took forever to cool down and I was tired from a day from visitting family in the hospital and just wanted to go to bed. I couldn't because it was so hot in the room.

The property was clean,comfortable bed and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The room had everything I needed and the AC unit ran even (didn’t kick off and on, like so many do) The curtains blocked all the light. I had a great night sleep! Perfect location off highway, convenient to shops and restaurants.

The property is no frills and outdated

Hotel mentioned that I will receive invoice from booking.com directly as payment is also handled by booking.com. The system generated invoice showed $0 charges which I cannot use for my company claim. No response from the hotel when requested for an updated receipt/invoice.

Very nice updated room, courteous staff, nice breakfast, quiet

If you're not out of your room by 9:30 or 10am you won't get housekeeping service. Housekeeping never makes the bed.

The beds were very comfortable very clean as well

The sink outside the bathroom and the bathroom was small the breakfast could be changed everyday not the same thing every day

Room had been renovated, was very clean and spacious. The AC worked well and there was a medium sized Dorm refrigerator. Owners were helpful and managed the facility well

The breakfast was below average....mostly carbs..no protein.

Rooms were clean and comfortable

Listed on Booking.com as pet friendly. That was not the case and they wanted a $35 pet fee. The desk clerk was rude and argumentative but the owner/manager intervened and he waived the pet fee.
