The staff were mostly friendly. There was only one staff that seemed to have a poor attitude and was short with customers. The rest of the staff were amazing. The property was well put together, as far as decor and environment. The luxury of having a store, restaurant, and hospital seemed convenient.

They obviously aren’t cleaning fully during cleanings or cleaning everything in the rooms. I found heavy dust, trash, etc in the cabinet where the refrigerator was. Things should always be wiped down to reduce cross contamination of clientele. The area seemed to attract questionable random people outside the facilities. As a soccer team, we didn’t feel safe travelling outside due to this fact.

Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast stuff, but it's free, so that's a nice bonus. Happy Hour is also a nice bonus, but the line for drinks was a bit much. You should train TWO people to make drinks.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but the clientele Sunday morning had a "feeding frenzy" mentality like poor, hungry people worried about not getting enough of that free food. Drury is usually upscale enough for this not to be an issue.

Kind and responsive staff, tasty breakfast and cocktail dinner, sparkling clean rooms, and well-kept grounds. I loved my stay at Drury, but holiday traffic might keep me away in the future.

Unfortunately, the hot tub stayed green and foamy because there were too many holiday guests for the chemistry to keep up. The biggest downside was daytime traffic in the area. It's nigh impossible to dive for the left turn toward Drury Inn after exiting southbound Essen from I-10E, and to took over 20 minutes to reach Drury Inn from the mall because I-10 Traffic left northbound Essen at a standstill... Green lights but no room to move forward.

Bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked, especially my wife. Can't give you specifics, other than mine was not very firm on the edge. My life likes a softer mattress, but she didn't care for hers, either. But that's just personal preferences, can't please everyone. That's the only reason I rated the stay an "8" insteed of a nine or ten. I like Drury more than she does, although she admitted that most everything was fine. Clean, good breakfast, etc. I would definitely stay there again. Location was perfect for our business in town this time.

Property was clean, bed and pillow insanely comfy, staff were all very cheerful and polite, included not only breakfast but also evening snacks and three delicious alcoholic drinks per adult. Would definitely return.

I didn't personally care much for the food from the afternoon snack, but others in my family did and it was free so not a deal breaker for me and I love and appreciate that they even offer that at all. To be fair I only tried one thing and wasn't very hungry so maybe it was just me anyways.

The staff upon arrival was very helpful, polite, and inviting (young lady with curly Afro blondish top) clean facilities such as pool, dining area, room, etc., comfortable bed, necessary toiletries available, spacious, and everything worked well!

I enjoyed everything but I did miss my opportunity to use my drink card. That was my fault. The time was given to me, I simply lost track of time enjoying the spa. Extended hours would be nice though but not necessary to make anything better.

I liked that they served both dinner and breakfast so we didn't have to leave the hotel. The room was clean and a good size. The staff was friendly.

There wasn't hot water at the sink. The hot water valve underneath the sink was bent and unusable. The sink also drained very slowly. One of two elevators was out of service. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds, we arrived at 5:30 PM and were told that we would have to wait for a room to be cleaned. We were offered a room with 1 king bed with no wait time however.

location. liked not having to leave once we got there to go eat. they had a decent dinner and a great breakfast. plus you get a drink card good for 4 alcoholic drinks each if you indulge occasionally 😁

Being charged $50.00 for our 6 pound puppy plus another $50.00 deposit if they had to clean the room afterwards because of the animal, they said they would reimburse the $50.00 if not needed but could take up to 14 days to receive it on the credit card, really come on now. it not the money but the general principle of this that does not set well with me. I have had hotels to keep the deposit if you don’t keep an eye on them, not saying Drury will, just put a reminder on your phone to verify. it’s better to get a room opposite to the front since I could hear the road noise on I-12.

The only thing we didn’t like was the homeless people that hang around the gas station in front of the hotel. They would hang around the motel and it wasn’t a good feeling with all the kids that stayed there!

The hotel was very clean and very quite. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The breakfast was excellent with a variety that I have not seen in a hotel in years. I also liked the lighting in the actual room which allowed for me to do my make up without opening the drapes.

I like pillows that are firmer than the ones on my bed. The traffic getting to the hotel was terrible and it took over one hour to go 5 miles on Essen Lane. The hotel is not responsible for this but it is worth noting for those traveling into town about the congested traffic in the Baton Rouge area at 4pm and afterwards.
