It’s super challenging not to gate keep this hidden gem! The oldest pool in NOLA with gorgeous masonry and salt water, was the highlight. I swam for hrs!
Perhaps the one downside is the ability to hear the mayhem of the French Quarter. With this being so close to Bourbon Street. If traveling with children, bring a sound machine and it will be fine! The other thing I didn’t love was having to park offsite. But it is very close. And when I saw this gorgeous property, it was completely redeemed. Worth mentioning, so you can prepare.

This little gem is breathtakingly beautiful. It felt like magic, stepping through an unassuming door on a busy street and being transported into a quiet oasis. We were here during Mardi Gras and thoroughly enjoyed the contrast between the high-energy world outside and this peaceful haven. The staff was so kind, taking time to tell us all the best places to visit and eat (so much within easy walking distance!) and making sure every detail was attended to. We stayed in cottage number 1. It was charming, immaculately clean, and comfortable. This will always be our go-to place to stay in New Orleans. We can't wait to go back!
I literally can't think of a single thing.

The location of Audubon Cottages was fabulous for experiencing the French Quarter in all it’s glory. However, those that are sensitive to noise might pack a pair of earplugs. I love the Quarter, but my boys found it difficult to sleep due to the noise that can go into the wee hour of the morning. It is what it is… and it is the French Quarter. We walked to all our meals and tours around the city. Make sure to take the recommendations of the lovely fellows that run Audubon Cottages. Our meals were delicious and I would have known about the restaurants if not for their guidance. I loved the cottage and hope to return next year. It was a fabulous stay and an absolutely gorgeous courtyard.
I loved the authentic cottages. The noise was just something that goes along with being in the Quarter and not unexpected. Just another fun layer to New Orleans :)

Great hidden gem in New Orleans. Excellent concierge service and incredible outdoor courtyard hidden from the French Quarter by smart architecture design and beautiful landscaping. Always worth a night or two when visiting NOLA. Jeffrey (or maybe its Geoffrey) recommended some excellent restaurants and his tips should not be ignored.
Bathrooms need updating. Pool can get crowded given its limited size and/or lack of privacy. Plenty of privacy in the rooms, though, which are each unique stand alone cottages.

The location was amazing. Close to all French quarter activities but in a small oasis that felt a world away from the craziness. Anthony, the butler was so awesome and helpful and the housekeeping staff was so sweet.
On the Saturday night, it was very loud. The cars and music kept me up at night. The bass and mufflers were the worst.

The cottage was beautiful, so as the backyard and pool. in the middle of French quarter.
I would not recommend to book this property through booking, better do that directly instead. As the property manager explained they do not receive messages sent via booking chat, nor is the property address correctly reflexted on the booking webpage, so we had some trouble with finding the place and agreeing regarding the check in.

Not only was the staff nice enough to make reservations for us before we even flew out to New Orleans, the room was very cozy and quaint and my wife and I enjoyed it very much. The brick structures, the pool in particular, was amazing. I 10 out of 10 highly recommend this place.
There was nothing I did not like about the property.

I loved how secluded the cottages felt against the clamor of the French Quarter. My own oasis to regenerate after the food and nightlife. The private courtyard and small number of units made this a special place indeed.

This property feels like a secret garden tucked inside the craziness of the French Quarter. The accommodations are beautiful, clean, and fitting for the area. We loved the pool, the fountains, the greens, and the historical architecture. The manager, Jeffrey, is BEYOND amazing!
Loved everything!

The cottages are charming. A real slice of old NOLA. Beautiful setting, wonderful salt water pool with attentive and helpful staff. Listen to The butler, Jeffrey. He gives you the updates on the volatile food scene. Lots of restaurants are in transition due to COVID and he steers you to the local gems. He also keeps you well stocked with drinks (including alcohol!) and any other amenity you need.
Uber/Lyft will not pick you up at the entrance. You need to walk around the block for pick ups. They will drop you off at the entrance though?!?! No room service if you need that, but there is a delightful cafe at the end of the block to buy morning pastries and breakfast sandwiches.
