The location is awesome. The staff are second to none. Amazing people from the time you pull in the valet to the time you leave the staff is courteous and friendly.

The HVAC system when we arrived and tried to change the heat to air because it had got a little hot that day. There was no way to turn the air on. It was only heat. I did call down for a fan which they sent right up the room are very small.

We loved the old style French influence and general opulence of the hotel. The balcony was fantastic and gave us a great look down into the French Quarter. The Rib Room restaurant is gorgeous and the food excellent.

It’s a small thing but having a shower in the bath tub is a little annoying as was the immovable shower head. First world problem 😆

The hotel was very clean and we really enjoyed the decor throughout. There is some modernization but the old New Orleans style was retained which we appreciated. Most restaurants, shops, etc. were easily accessible by walking or petty-cab. All of the staff were absolutely amazing. We were greeted all throughout our stay and everyone always asked if there was anything they could do for us.

Being charged $50 a day to park our car and then being charged tax on top of the $50 daily. We knew there was a fee for parking but a specific amount wasn’t stated when we made our reservation. We didn’t mind a fee but thought $50 was excessive and then you charge us an additional $7 daily as a tax on a parking fee. Pretty ridiculous considering that we’re already paying to stay at the hotel.

Great location in a quiet street, but just a short distance away from the action on Bourbon. Our second stay at the hotel and dare I say, it's lost a bit of it's class. There remains the old charm, but it's getting worn and tired. The staff were a credit to the hotel, helpful and always cheery, particularly on the door and breakfast room. The rooftop pool could've done with more sunbeds and less tables/chairs. I didn't use the small gym but it looked ok.

The staff was very helpful and always excited to help. The location was perfect as it is on Royal Street which has many shops and only 2 streets away from Bourbon Street that has places to eat and places to drink. Also, only 3 blocks away from the main square where there was always something going on there.

When we first checked in the room was dirty, not horrible but there were large dust binnies all over the bed and on the floor beside it. They moved us, so that was good.

The balcony view the staff was awesome and super helpful and the room was comfortable. I also made some really cool friends here and my working our film went amazing thanks to the advice on places to go to from the staff! I felt safe and miss Nola already! I will totally be back and stay there again. I am planning on moving down there in a few years and will make sure my visitors have this place as an option to stay too :) Thank you to everyone and I miss you all! My best! F.Allen from NY!

The friendly ness from the staff and atmosphere and how timeless this place was.

Location, high standards of decor, outstanding helpfulness of all staff we encountered, particularly Shawn Parker who went above and beyond to help us with an unusual request.

We felt the bar area and the Rib Room restaurant were a slight let down compared to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Rib Room is a an older historical features but the are not made advantage of and lighting is rather dingy. A missed opportunity.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were there during Hurricane Francine but the staff was in constant communications and provided flashlights and food service when rest of city was locked down. We were able to watch tv news as they had generator and we were able to track the storm and stayed safely indoors.

It was a bit pricey for the accommodations which are a bit outdated.

Excellent location, good sized balcony, brilliant staff.

Bathroom was falling apart, , power sockets were coming away from the walls, shower was intermittent, coffee maker kept failing, balcony doors were very hard to shut, bedroom door was hard to open, had to ask twice for cups for the coffee maker.

All went well. A huge call out to the receptionist that helped us agree on a late checkout with a fee...she had a great can do attitude and very helpful.

Very poor attitude of the receptionist on checkout. She hardly spoke and seemed quite angry or aggressive. This does not really leave a good lasting positive feel about the hotel. She is the front facing employee and as such should be very helpful and nice to the guests.
