Great location of hotel for walkability to ferry, restaurants, shopping. The room was big. Nice kitchen w/ big fridge w/icemaker. Comfy bed! Housekeeping picked up our trashbag & dirty towels by our door & dropped off new towels & toilet paper rolls. Breakfast was ok. Loved the fruit, yogurt & coffee & juices.

The sofa smelled like poop after 3 days. A previous guest must've had a pet accident. I febreezed it & it was ok. Housekeeping did not make up our room during our stay. The breakfast was ok if you got there early. Late arrivals has less choices. Need more gluten-free options & fresh fruits. Eggs were gross.

The staff was VERY friendly, helpful and gracious. The room and facility had all of the amenities that we wanted/needed. The kitchen was well supplied. Breakfast was yummy. The location was perfect; we were able to walk to everything that we wanted to visit...all of the fun parts of Portland. The patio was nice; I wish we had had time to grill and eat out on the patio; the weather would have been perfect for that. We usually stay in airbnb's because most of the time we can get more bang for our buck, but this hotel was so reasonable and was such a great value, that in Portland, at least, we will be staying here.

The pillows were a little bit lacking but what a silly complaint given all that was right with this facility!

The breakfast was really good--my entire family was happy. We enjoyed swimming in the pool (although some of the other pool goers were pretty inconsiderate, but that's not the hotel's fault.) The hotel is walking distance from great shops and restaurants. Front desk people were really nice and helpful.

We had to request blankets for the pull out bed, and were given a simple set that really didn't count as "bedding" but it worked. The room was a bit pricey, but we realized when we got there it was because there was a hockey tournament going on in town.

The room was fantastic. The size, the comfort, the amenities all impressed. Love the complimentary breakfast. We frequented the lounge bar and loved the bartender, Melanie. The only downside was the very expensive daily parking fee. Quite steep for our stay. An extra $90 is quite a lot!

The parking fee. Although convenient, right next door, I have never had to pay so much to park. And we always had to park on the upper floors which takes time out of our sightseeing and activities.

Breakfast was great as it normally is at any residence Inn we have stayed at in the past

We booked through booking.com and paid for two rooms for two nights in Canadian dollars. The hotel charged our US Dollar credit cards $571.16 USD we protested the charge and supposedly a credit for that amount was posted to our credit card however as I dictate this that amount is still on my US dollar card We would very much like to have this sorted out between booking and Marriott

Proximity to shops, restaurants, etc. nice breakfast offerings; friendly restaurant staff. Room was well-equipped and comfortable.

The view. Supposed to be a harbor view, but buildings blocked it. Requested a higher floor, but told none available, so best to request at time of booking. Parking: not inconvenient, but not terribly convenient, and not inexpensive. No elevator in parking garage.

Breakfast was very good.

Room was very good but the refrigerator would periodically come on throughout the night making a low clicking sound. It would turn off and then come back on later. Annoying. Seemed to be coming from the ice machine. Room 442. Next time I'll just unplug the device.

Super clean and well-maintained, friendly and helpful staff, room was a good size, nicely decorated, had a large smart tv and was well-stocked with plates, glasses, cutlery and other supplies, great continental breakfast. We had a few meals in the room and it was very comfortable. Everything was spotless and the appliances seemed brand new. Plenty of towels. Oh, and I loved the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel! Going to try to buy them for my house!

Nothing!

The room set up. The bed was excellent and very comfortable.

Not too much really. Instead of a dishwasher an oven might be better but that’s probably personal preference rather than an actual dislike

Large rooms with a living area and kitchen separate from the bedroom, which is great for different morning routines, as I like to get up, have coffee, watch the news, and get a little workout in while my wife can stay in bed for a while. I'm the one dispatched to fetch the free breakfast from the lobby, so I can do that as well all before she's up and showered. More breakfast options and a buffet style which didn't seem to exist earlier in COVID.

We usually have to ask for more pillows. There weren't king-sized pillows on a king bed, so we needed a couple extras. We also had to ask for more regular coffee for the coffee maker in the room, but they aren't doing daily room service unless arranged with the guest. And one full day we were there, it was sleeting sideways with a windchill of 5, so we never left the hotel that day, except to go to the hotel bar when it opened around 5. Certainly not the hotel's fault, and at least the bar opened that day. It's within walking distance of most places, but it is a couple blocks further out than many of the other hotels. Street noise is probably less being not right in the heart of downtown.
