This hotel is outstanding! So many amenities. Lots of things to do right at the hotel. Movies to watch with popcorn, dvds to borrow, multiple grilling areas, picnic tables, live music, outdoor games, a small playground and two pools, one indoor and one outdoor. The room was lovely. Comfortable furniture all around, including the sofa bed. Pool towels are provided in the room. Full kitchen. Dining table. Very clean. The bedroom was large. Two patio chairs, table and a beach towel bar outside our room. The hotel is close to many great food options and not far from the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We hope to stay here again!

The bedroom has the air conditioning unit in it so the living room didn't stay as cool as the bedroom. Could have used a couple of hooks to hang wet bath towels in the bathroom.

Great location to all that we hoped to do! We chose this property because of the indoor pool option in case the weather wasn’t great. WOW, we had a great weekend and spent time in the outdoor pool and the beach! The indoor pool looked great but we didn’t use it. We also loved the outdoor games and fire pits. Staff was incredibly friendly. Loved having access to grills! comfortable beds.

Our unit didn’t have a sponge (though 3 dishtabs which were so nice), potholders, or paper towels. Not major things but definitely needed. Be ready to wake up with the sun as the shades do not provide much blocking but that helped us to be up and out early!

The location/area in Wells. The beautiful 2bdrm unit with natural lighting, comfort all around and easy ground floor access. Like the pool and the staff. Have already stayed before and WILL CONTINUE!

honestly, the tremendous odor of Marijuana right by the unit we stayed in, both mornings between 9-11am. Very discouraged and disappointed at that. We don't smoke/drink anything so wasn't us. Kept unit door closed to avoid odor entering. My two teen sons with Asthma not impressed either. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and will return.

Very clean, comfortable and close to town without hearing all the traffic noise. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows, great water pressure for the shower, loved having the kitchen to use to rewarm leftovers. Although we didn’t get a chance to use them, the corn hope area looked fun as did the movie night! The saltwater pool and the sauna were a wonderful treat! Just a great experience!

Very clean with updated appliances and decor. Beds were comfortable. Chairs on the balcony to sit were nice. Staff was very accommodating when I requested early check in to allow us to get ready for a concert in Portland.

Bedside lights with USB plugs for phone charging. Checkout at 11 instead of 10. People on vacation want to sleep in and if you only have one shower it makes it difficult to do that.

My family used to stay at Elmwood when I was a kid growing up, and we always had a great time so when my friend and I were driving through town and needed a place to stay for the night it was a no brainer! We were coming from a camping trip in Acadia and it was the coziest room to settle into! My friend loved the cottage feel, and I loved that everything was well stocked in the kitchen, and didn’t have to worry about any supplies! It was super clean and comfortable and the front desk did a great job of answering any questions before I had them. Thank you for making the stay so welcoming!

I can’t be too picky because there was a sauna, an indoor heated pool, and outdoor pool, but a hottub would be nice too!!

It is a nice location, about 5 min drive to the beach. The pool and activities offered are nice (movie and DJ night). The 2 floor apartment are big enough for us 5.

The beds and the couch were not so comfortable. Also some kitchen appliances were not in good condition: the toaster element was broken and burnt our toasts.

we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, very roomy, beds/couches were very comfortable. kitchen was well stocked, bathroom had shampoo/conditioner dispensers and beach towels were provided. we only used the indoor pool as the outdoor was being fixed and didn't have enough time to use some of the amenities (cornhole, ping pong, firepit or yard checkers, but wished we had, it looked like fun. staff was able to accomodate an early check-in!!! i would definitely recommend elmwood. it's only a 10 minute drive to rachel carson reserve and about 10-20 minutes to get to ogunquit/perkins cove.

there was no negative...(there was some construction/loud banging from a room a few doors down but view this as a positive - they were renovating and doing improvements!...only reason i mentioned is because our 2 year old couldn't nap 😳)

Beautiful property, easy to navigate. Felt both communal and private. 2 pools, fire pits, night time activities including live music, laundry on site and a great location!

Would have loved a section of vending machines or a small market. I know it was located right on rt 1 with stores all around but laziness hits or you forgot something, it would be great to have the option.

Room was great ! Everything you could want - full stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, comfortable bed, 2 TV's bedroom with door, couch with another chair - Like a 1 Bedroom condo. Excellent

Weather - could not have rained all week ! If you could only control that and the dampness !
