We knew that breakfast was included in our room rate, but were surprised that it was an actual menu selection. We paid for extras, which was not a problem. Room was better than pictured and amenities were great. Bed was exceptional sleeping opportunity after long drive.

Bathroom is very nice, but lacks any place to hang up towels. At check-in we were advised there was paid parking across the street (not a problem) but at checkout we noted other guests having their parking disks scanned - and that meant we had no charge for overnight parking in the across-street garage. Would have appreciated being notified about the free parking at checkin.

Spacious and well laid out room with comfortable double beds and we had the best sleep! In-house restaurant for a convenient meal and great cocktails. We had quite a few every night and had lovely conversations with the lovely bartender Scott. Indigo staff are all friendly and helpful and we felt so welcomed. Housekeeping is great and so quick to cater to our requests for more towels and pillows. The laundry room was great too. And of course, the location is great, a short walk to all the tourist sites and it’s just at the fringe of Mt Vernon. The best Italian restaurant - Sotto Sopra is just a short walk away. It’s so good we had dinner there twice, just to try out more dishes on the menu.

I booked when my evening train out of Baltimore to my new hometown was delayed for a ridiculously long time. As a single female, I needed security, and as high maintenance, I needed luxury. This hotel delivered on both. Being familiar with Baltimore, I was skeptical of the area at night but the front door was locked and there was a security guard in the lobby. The room key was needed to get to my floor. The furnishing, wall color, shower tile and overall decor was top notch and ascetically pleasing. The breakfast area was sunny, and the food was tasty. This unplanned overnight stay was an unexpected treat.

The music in the lobby at night was too loud, making it hard to communicate with front door staff.

Friendly, helpful staff. We arrived ~30min prior to the 4pm check-in & had no issue getting our room right away. The lobby was comfortable & the decor was fresh & clean. Requiring a key card to get on the elevator AND to get to our room floor really helped us feel safe & well taken care of. The room/hotel in general was extremely clean which is difficult to find these days. We have no complaints & will certainly return.

The only "issue" was that parking is not included. We DID know this at the time of booking & were of course fine with paying $13 for the night but it is always nice when there is no charge for parking.

I loved the location of the Hotel. I felt safe enough to walk around and enjoy all Baltimore had to offer. I felt the bed was super comfy and the breakfast was delish!!!

I think you need to have more waitresses. It was difficult for one person to serve all the patrons on time. I felt it held things up especially if you needed to go somewhere. Also a room service would be great. Especially just to bring food up from the restaurant. Not everyone is comfortable coming down to the restaurant to fetch food in their PJs!

We didn't have breakfast because the restaurant was overextended. To be fair, we came downstairs five minutes before the breakfast period was to end. As we paid for breakfast when making our reservation, we were refunded the money we had paid, which was fair. That said, we did have dinner at the restaurant the night we arrived. I'd have to rate the dinner a 7. Fair only. Pricy especially because it wasn't a good meal. That said, love the hotel and would stay again. Liked the vibe of the place. The art. The fitness room. The hotel rooms and their design are lovely.

Not crazy about the restaurant.

Kim was the person who checked us in. She was incredibly friendly and personable. So it great from the moment we entered. The decor was modern, colorful and inviting. The room was well decorated and very clean. The sitting area in the double Queen room was a wonderful surprise. Breakfast Sunday morning was delicious. Service was great. I will definitely stay again.

Tv wasn't so great unless you wanted to watch sports or a ton of news channels. No movie channels like showtime or hbo. No smart TV for Netflix and no hookup for personal fire/roku devices. Bad tv isn't a deal killer just something to note. Add a channel guide. All in all still a great stay.

I had a conference in a hotel along the Inner Harbor and wanted to spend a day before returning home exploring the Mount Vernon neighborhood. The Indigo seemed to be in a good location to do that, and it was cheaper than the alternatives when I booked. I walked the few blocks north to the hotel on arrival (through Baltimore's rather scuzzy downtown business district) and then took the light rail to the airport from Centre Street when leaving. Convenient. The Roman Catholic Cathedral is across the street, and all of Mount Vernon (and numerous bars and restaurants) is right there. Lexington Market is just a few minutes away. I felt safe, although a 7-Eleven nearby was robbed on the morning I left. . . . My room was comfortable and had a great view over the rooftops toward the Washington Monument. I didn't try the restaurant, except to have a quick drink at the bar, but it looked good. Staff members were friendly, funny, and helpful. I would've liked to have stayed longer.

The hotel really served my needs well. No complaints.

It was a very stylish hotel and beds were really comfortable, probably one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in in a hotel. Location was really good too.Parking just across the road.

The only thing I could fault was the breakfast on the second day. The server was in need of a wee energy injection, she was very lackadaisical. However in her defence the food was taking a really long time to come out so she was under pressure to explain this to the customers waiting. I seen quite a few half eaten breakfast plates lying on tables , presumably as people just did not have the time to finish as had waited so long for it to arrive. On the flip side, on our first day we needed a last minute breakfast to go & the server (an older lady) got us 2 full breakfasts with hot drinks in about 5 minutes flat!

We enjoyed our time at Indigo and had a great time in Baltimore visiting museums and enjoying music at Peabody. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff welcomed our little dog. Liked the helpful manager and friendly staff too!

The main hotel lounge though quite impressive with its huge fireplace and chic decor is a little shabby. There were stains on the carpet and upholstery and the furniture is chipped.
