Our room was clean, well stocked , comfortable and inviting. The print outs of restaurants and things to do was a nice touch.

At check-in our clerk was not friendly or helpful. She appeared more interested in eating her popcorn than engaging in conversation. When she did give information, it seemed scripted. We were not directed to complimentary items (coffee, printouts) we noticed them on our own as we were exiting the building to go to our room. Which, again, we had to ask how to do as she never directed us , or mentioned that the elevator was out of service. There were signs in our hallway leading to the hospitality room. We were not informed what that was,and when we tried to access it, the doors were locked. There is very poor lighting in the parking lot, lights were extremely dim, and it made it difficult to maneuver the parking lot and entrance.

This was our second stay at BML, and it exceeded our first stay (the pool felt cleaner and access to the hottub was better). Though, to be honest, I wouldn't call the place a "resort" even if they do... it's a hotel, but a lovely hotel.

We were on the 5th floor, so it was a long elevator ride or lots of stairs to anywhere. A lounge on each floor might add to the resort feel as having a pool and a few seating areas outside do not a resort make (Hampton Inns have those after all). According to my son, the coffee available in the front lobby was dreadful, but I found the orange juice "okay" for instant stuff.

great location for access to all of Berkshires. VERY clean and well kept facility. Staff if excellent and available. Kitchen is stocked with sparkling clean pots and pans. Plenty of parking

setting isnt pretty but a quick drive out brings you to mountains and lakes. Decor is simple taste but clean and fresh- this is a place to sleep comfortably with lots of space, cook your meals and shower to be able to reach tanglewood or theater, within 10 mins and any lake, hiking trail , etc. Fabulous location for picking up groceries or premade food for picnics, etc, at Guidos or Marketplace. Great location for families who I think may enjoy indoor pool in less than ideal weather days?

Very comfortable beds, spacious living and bathroom area. All appliances and kitchen utensils/gadgets are of high quality. Impecable rooms!! The Jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool are always a plus for our stay!

Landscaping can look beautiful with more flowers. The BBQ and children play area need attention- some upgrade and more children play equipment. The swimming pool area-this sunny & great open area needs lounge chairs to rest when reading, relaxing and to lay down between laps. They used to have loungers in the pool area, but they ripped off the floor. How about looking for other types of lounger furniture instead of eliminating them altogether?

I loved that it was like a little apartment. I will 100% stay here again!

The only thing that was a REAL pain in the butt was that we had a room on the far side of the building on the top (5th) floor and the elevator closest to us was out of order. I wish they would have put us closer to the working elevator. It was like a maze trying to find the working elevator. Also, I sent 2 messages to the property asking questions and I never received a response or acknowledgement, not a huge deal but that was annoying. But the staff was friendly and helpful and they place was beautiful and clean!!

Found this wonderful place to stay when we returned to live in Massachusetts (SW of Boston) and began visiting the Berkshires and attending Tanglewood concerts as well as Plays and Musicals in Theaters nearby (Pittsfield, Great Barrington, and Chatham, NY) throughout the summertime. Don’t forget the world class Museums! And the many retail shoppes along the main road through Lee that can satisfy every shop-a-holic!! Staying at Berkshire Mountain Lodge is like living in your own home - comfortable living area - TV and WIFI plus private bedroom and bath. Having a fully equipped Kitchen allows you to choose to cook breakfast or bring in gourmet restaurant meals is the ULTIMATE!!

Unfortunately as more family’s with active children discover this great place…we have had a visit or two where we found ourselves underneath rooms with very rambunctious kids knocking over things and running about. Perhaps you might consider keeping older couples on the upper floors or separate sections and younger families on the lower levels? Just a thought…

We really liked the large, clean apartment-like room complete w full kitchen. The drive there was so nice seeing the Fall colors. Great hot shower. Comfy beds.

Decor was a bit 90's but it's a great value for the money. No breakfast is offered, but you have your own kitchen so you can whip up something or try a cute little yummy breakfast place down the road.

Super roomy and sparkling clean.. Plenty of amenites_ Functioning dishwasher, ice maker, big fridge, 2 tv's lots of closet space

The whole property is undergoing renovation making it a little difficult to negotiate entering and exiting. My suite had a large tear in the sliding glass door screen. They offered to fix it with duck tape. I declined the offer and suggested they put in a new screen. Hope they do that in the renovations.

We traveled with family for only one night stay. My daughter had an Irish dance competition in Pittsfield. The location was perfect, 7 min away from bars and restaurants. The hotel’s layout included a kitchen and a dinning room. Very spacious and useful.

Wish the rooms also came with two queen beds. Even though it has a pull out sofa, it was not very comfy and 4 people in a king size bed felt a bit crowded 😊

I liked that the room had a full kitchen and living room. I wish we got a chance to check out the hot tub but no time.

It is very dated and needs an update cosmetically. The pillows were not comfortable at all and there was peeling paint in the bathroom. Also, the coffee was nice to have in the lobby but I didn’t take it due to powdered cream. Please get real cream.
