No breakfast was offered in the lobby and the lighting in the rooms were so dark. I had to take the hand mirror by the window to do my Make up. However, Angela and Tim at the front desk saved my trip from turning into a disaster! After a mix up with the reservation I made thru a 3rd party website, when I arrived, I found I only had a room booked for the Friday. I was in town for a family wedding which was on Saturday and all activities were based around the hotel. AND having 3 weddings that weekend there were no availabilities. They were so diligent in finding a room and they made it happen! Thanks to them I was able to spend the entire weekend with my family!!

Parking was very confusing

Getting into the parking lot and finding the entrance was a bit difficult. We asked for late check out after not arriving until almost 9pm and were told we need to ask in the morning, we asked in the morning and we’re told we could have until 12 so an additional hour. We were grateful for the hour but would’ve preferred until 1 or 2 especially since we got there so late.

the location was perfect. close to everything, including nice restaurants and local bars. it was very clean. both the room and the actual hotel. the decor was nice, not cluttered. the breakfast wasn’t free ($16 person) but it was delicious, hot and had a good selection of choices. I’d definitely stay here again.

As a regular coffee drinker, just two cups of coffee in the room really isn’t enough, although I know this is the industry standard. It would have been nice to know the room had a keurig machine. I could have brought extra pods. it also would have been nice to know the room did not have a microwave.

This is a pet friendly hotel. Our first room had a faint smell of cat urine. We were moved to an equally great room. Very convenient location. Hotel guest services Allie W recommended the East Bay Restaurant and it was everything she said it was. We returned and went to the bar where the bartender David took great care of us and was a very interesting person w a great life story. Would definitely return.

The location is excellent. You can walk to all of the waterfront attractions, lots of restaurants and shops. We really didn't need a car. The room was a good size and had a mini refrigerator. The pool was fine and nice to have with kids.

Our room was not ready when we went to check in at 4:30 pm. The hotel manager did apologize and gave us free breakfast vouchers. Due to covid or an employee shortage, we did not get our room cleaned once in 4 nights. For the amount of $ paid, I felt it was a pain to have to ask the front desk any time you needed your coffee machine pods replenished, clean towels, trash emptied, etc.

They had nice quality, although very small, shampoo/soap etc. I got a very good price because I've used booking.com several times and I stayed on a weeknight.

Would have been good to have at least a continental breakfast; no food or even coffee was available in or near the lobby! I asked the front desk woman if there was any coffee available and she said they are in the rooms with the coffee maker; I said there were only tea k-cups and she offered to get coffee k-cups, though I declined because I don't like those non-refrigerated creamers and no raw sugar available. I didn't like being so close, and on the same level, as the pool with the noisy kids, though they went away a little after 8pm.

The staff was amazing. The location of the property could not have been better. They accommodated earlier arrival which was wonderful. Pool was very clean (cold but clean).

The room was extremely hot all the time and when trying to cool it down the system would shut off and when the system was working it was extremely loud. Shower pressure was great, waiting 5 to 8 minutes for hot water was annoying.

The beds were very comfortable as well a a nice couch in the room. The location was very central to all of our needs.

The popcorn ceiling was peeling in our room, however they still are in the middle of renovations and it met our needs on short notice for a family funeral. We would stay there again when the renovations are complete.

We got the pool view room on the main floor which was easy to watch the kids. Room was good size, lots of space. Great walking distance to everything downtown, central location. Large pool with lots of seating.

Beds were a little rough and I wish our room had direct access to the pool with the walk out balcony(pool level). A lot of people were going over the banister using chairs. Hotel has had many renovations but still needs a little work to the rooms. Pricey for our stay (we live up the street and wanted to treat the kids to the pool and a night out, so cheaper than a full vacation) but expected for vacation week. Cheaper than most other hotels.

Always love Hotel 1620. The location can't be beat and my kids loved the upgrade to the pool area and the new splash pad. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The toilet would run after flushing. Had to jiggle the handle to make it stop. Annoying but in no way ruined our stay.
