Honestly, I loved the style of the hotel. The rooms were small but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. My mom and I stayed for the Divisional Game & it was perfect for the two of us. The staff at the front desk were so kind too! I even loved the fact that there was humor there. For the game, they had a sign at the front desk talking smack to the commanders fans who were going to stay there, in a funny harmless way of course. Also loved that the parking was cheaper than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in that charged for parking, per night & was gated!! it was very a very welcoming stay and I will 100% stay there again . I’m big on reading reviews so I hope this finds someone well
Nothing at all! Loved this place.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Secure parking. Easy to access from main highways. Central location to access downtown core or Corktown within a 20 minute walk. Rooms were well equipped with hairdryer, iron/board and mini fridge and soaps/shampoo.
Understandably somewhat overpriced for a busy weekend in Detroit considering the 2.5-3 Star facility. Rooms having two beds for 4 adults contained two Twin sized, small beds. Some minor design flaws in rooms, particularly if traveling with another couple. No hooks in shower/toilet room to hang towels on, only outside of room where everyone has access to without a door or curtain to separate. A first world problem, but a very simple fix.

Everything went well. I only stayed one night, but I wished I could have stayed longer. I was in town for a concert at the Little Caesar's Arena and the location of this hotel was perfect along with my stay. The hallways smelled really clean and so did the room. It was super quiet in the halls, and I didn't hear a peep as I slept. It was great. I also loved the card entrance to the gate, and the entrance where I parked was really close to the elevator I had to take to my room.
The only thing that could've been better was the lighting in the parking lot on the right side of the building if you're facing the building. I parked on that side because that entrance was close to the elevator I took to my room, but it was a bit dark over there.

I really liked the interior and exterior design of the hotel. It was great to learn something new about Detroit’s art scene and history. Location is pretty convenient, Corktown, Downtown and Riverfront are easy to access even without a car. My room was pretty big and clean, and it seems like a great place to stay with a pet (will do it next time).
Adding a coffee machine or kettle would be a wonderful idea, especially during the colder months or when the cafe and restaurant are closed. The fridge in my room was quite noisy at night.

The room was very quaint and perfect for a couple traveling I loved the smaller size felt really cozy. The vibe was really nice as well even though we didn’t use much like the restaurant as we were there for one night it was nice. It was also nice that you could shop at the store and have it deducted from your fee you have to pay so you don’t have to spend more on top of that. Available bike rentals were nice and would’ve been used if we stayed more than a night!
Paying for gated protection parking, but they never closed the gates so that was pointless. The area is also a littleeee sketchy as it’s in the industrial and not as busy with people part of Detroit, but had no incidents.

I love this location as it's just outside of downtown Detroit but close enough to anything you could want to do. Lots of restaurants/bars/things to do near the hotel and a cute small park across the street. The staff was extremely welcoming and professional, so much so that I can not wait to come back down and stay at this location again.
The cost of the room per night. We came to town for an early birthday trip for myself and to see a Tigers game and explore Detroit. There was also a music festival happening this same weekend so I assume that drove the cost of the rooms at this location up and it was almost out of our price range to stay here. I'm grateful that we did and found the best rate on booking.com but the cost per night was the highest we've seen/paid to stay here.

I loved the aesthetic of the hotel and the location was awesome. My husband and I walked down to Corktown and checked out all the cute little shops down there. The coffee was excellent at the hotel itself as well. One of our keycards demagnetized and they didn't give us any issue with replacing it. The manager on shift told us they're switching to a new system so it shouldn't be an issue in the future. I loved having art books in the rooms with pictures of other areas of the hotel and of the Detroit area. There's a lot to do withing 20 minutes of this place. My husband and I are big Detroit fans, so this was the perfect little spot for us to stay.
Our room was missing a light bulb in one of the bedside lamps. Convenience store prices were a little high for some of the items. They had dollar store bath salts for $4.

I have a service dog so I love that this hotel was pet friendly. They also have a beautiful courtyard that is completely fenced in. And the rooms on the first floor have doors that open right out to the courtyard which makes potty breaks super easy for pet parents. Parking was $10 and in a secure lot with security.
I liked everything about the property. I guess it would have been cool if the restaurant had been opened when we were there but I know this hotel only opened recently and right now the restaurant is only opened certain days.

Location was close to the venue I was going to, price was reasonable, room had a comfy bed and was clean and well laid out
No coffee in room- had to pay $3 for a cup of coffee and $10 to park, none of these are terrible but this was not clarified prior to stay. Room had a cement floor and was extremely tiny (although clean and neat)- the room was reasonably priced compared to others in downtown Detroit, however it’s basically like paying $200 for a room at the super8 minus free coffee, free breakfast and free parking
