We really enjoyed our time in West Yellowstone. This hotel was perfect for us and we would stay again. It was clean, great location and the breakfast was delicious. Also, we liked the fire pit outside and the hot tub/pool was opened late until 11pm.

The first night of my stay, my room was not cleaned (fresh towels/beds made). I had to check with the front desk which they addressed and had it cleaned that day. The rugs need to be updated in the hallways and stairwells. Had stains and a little bit of musty smell. Pull out sofa was really uncomfortable.

The location of the Kelly Inn to the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park and to the Tesla Supercharger (both literally blocks / walking distance away) was exceptional. The included hot breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, Sausage link, roasted potatoes, pancake machine, and other assorted continental breakfast items) was above par and better than other hotels that provide the same type of offering. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and AC for a great night's sleep.

Website advertises more than twenty (+20) Electric Vehicle (EV) charger points (120 VAC) along the first floor of the hotel (outside) - the most for any hotel in West Yellowstone - yet there was not a single 120 VAC outlet along the outside of the building in which we stayed (Grizzly). For Tesla drivers (which includes us) we have the Supercharger within a very short distance, but for other EVs relying upon being able to charge, they would be stuck. The Kelly Inn advertising the EV chargers was a primary reason we chose this hotel over others in the area and to arrive to discover the building in which we stayed (Grizzly) did not have this ability was disappointing.

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good each day. Included breakfast was very good. They rotated the options each morning we were there. The indoor pool and hot tub were a nice feature We stayed in the main building. The rooms were nice, rustic western features and clean. You will have to inform the front desk if you want your bed made up. The staff will come in and clean up the room and replace the towels only if you don’t specify.

The sink is in the main space separate from the bathroom. A feature I don’t like due to the noise it may cause to sleeping spouses. I believe the newer Grizzly building across the parking lot is more modern with the sink features inside the bathroom.

The room was excellent for our family of four; we used the bunks over queens room. The room was spacious; we didn't even use all of the beds! We even had a little couch and c tables for eating or working. They provided hooks and cubbies for extra items which minimized the clutter. The hotel was extremely clean! Housekeeping actually mops the tiles/wooden floors (not just a wipe down). The breakfast options were good; we appreciated they changed the menu slightly each day. Location was great; right out of the West Entrance to the park and walkable to downtown Yellowstone for food and shopping. Highly recommend.

Excellent room with two king-size beds and lots of counter space. Great location! Easy walk to restaurants, shops, Grizzly Wolf center, and entry gate in to Yellowstone.

There needs to be a large sign that says there is an additional breakfast room. The first morning, we sat at a crowded table in the warm breakfast bar area. As we were leaving breakfast that morning, we noticed another room with tables and no one sitting in it. So, the next two mornings, we sat in the additional breakfast room at a large table and had the entire room to ourselves. We noticed both mornings, that the other breakfast room was hot and every table was full! I think at check-in, the desk staff should mention that there is an additional room for eating when they talk about the breakfast hours. Otherwise, we were very happy and would definitely come back to The Kelly Inn.

There's no gym in the hotel but there's one in town that, at the time of this posting, cost $8/day. The breakfast has two similar but different options in the two adjacent hotels that are a part of the Kelly Inn. I didn't think, after trying the food, it worth it to be too concerned about the fact that one had French Toast while, instead, the other had another egg choice, etc.

We were promised a ground floor, King room but the new person at the front made a few major errors, one of them involving getting a 2nd floor room instead, double Queen. Roy, the hotel manager, offered to fix it all for less than our original price but, after already vacating one room we settled for the discount on floor 2/queen beds. I think this type of error was a one time thing having to do with new employees.

The Kelly Inn was a wonderful hotel for my family's visit to Yellowstone and the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, which is conveniently located right across the street within walking distance. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, offering great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a variety of food options available. The automatic pancake machine was a hit, making two pancakes in just one minute–the best pancakes ever! My family and I were very pleased with our stay and will recommend this great hotel to others. We look forward to returning in the future.

Decent staff, spacious but aged “motel” rooms, 1 street from the gate, on main street. 1.5 hours from Bozeman airport with rental car. Bbq- Firehole Bbq “entrees” in west Yellowstone vastly outperformed more pricey Bourbon st bbq “entrees” in Bozeman Mt, bc Bourbon served “non” fresh bbq and sides.

Room rates are above $300, for generic nice rooms, but that seems to be the norm. Located in a friendly but tourist trap area, don’t expect to easily find healthy meals ,specific groceries, or a stocked deli. It’s not happening. I’d consider More than 2 days in west Yellowstone excessive, and would transfer to Bozeman Montana right away. Research nearby Bozeman and Big Sky.

The staff! We got sick on a 3000 mile road trip and had to leave one hotel and wait to check in here. It was rough! The front desk staff was wonderful and made every accommodation to get us in early! Check in is later than most at 4pm and they were able to move things around and get us in at 2pm so we could rest up! Instead of heading into Yellowstone this day, we ended up hanging in the hotel room and it worked out perfectly! The rooms were spacious, older, but clean. It had a table and 2 chairs which was perfect for our girls to do some games and eat dinner in the hotel! There was a McDonald’s just next door that saved us.

I did not love that the sink is not in the bathroom, bathroom behind a door is just the toilet and shower. The door hits the front of the toilet, it’s tight! It’s older and the walls are thin so you could hear some rowdy kids upstairs running around until late! End of the day, this hotel saved us from a really bad day and gave us a chance to fully recover! It’s older, but it’s clean and the proximity to Yellowstone park entrance is incredible!
