This hotel was PRECIOUS. Located in the cute little town of West Yellowstone convenient to a few restaurants, gas stations, and lots of shops. Parking is right across the street - there are only 2 floors but no elevators so heads up if you have someone handicapped traveling with you. The hotel is historic and old but very clean and well kept. Rooms had clean sheets/towels and excellent AC. Breakfast buffet for 2 is included in your stay and the ladies at breakfast always take great care of guests to keep the area clean and the buffet full. Front desk folks were kind as well. Nice little patio area outside the back for a picnic or indoor cafeteria style room with vending and coffee. 10/10 recommend staying here if you’re looking for an antiquated, vintage stay with great food & amenities and close to the West Yellowstone entrance.

Water for shower we have to use ice bucket to bathe, because shower hardly had water coming out but only cold, no good at all . Hair dryer mounted close to mirror but cord to short. It would have been better if it’s mounted close to bathroom room door. Hard to find parking and its raining at 1030pm. I have to park all the way to cross winds area. For the price I expect a decent warm shower and not use ice bucket to collect water because not enough pressure for shower we are in room 218. My daughter had quite a laugh though reminded her the TABO used for bathing in the Philippines.

Breakfast was phenomenal. Staff was friendly and always had smiles for you in the morning. Great selection of food.

The only complaint is that the shower water pressure would go down and the water would turn ice cold. Then you would adjust the knob to get warmer water, then it would turn scalding hot. I believe that the system needs upgrading for the size of the hotel. I heard others complaining about it while in line at breakfast. Also, make sure that you specify that you want a refrigerator and microwave in your room when you make a reservations.

Although it is an older facility, they have renovated it, It was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable, however before long they will need to be replaced. All in all, This was a very pleasant surprise as we booked sight unseen. The location was close to town. The staff was phenomenal. The breakfast was top-notch, quite frankly, was superior to some of the best hotels that we have been at!

You need an elevator...us older people need one ...we cannot carry our luggage up stairs...also we can't always use the stairs... They offered to carry our luggage up to our rooms...when we said we couldn't use the stairs they gave us a ground floor room...they were very caring and helpful...lived our stay...the staff was wonderful, the food was very good too.. I would stay there again....

You need an elevator....

White Buffalo has a great location both to the town and to the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The breakfast was excellent as was the staff that served it. The rooms were large and spacious and we appreciated the microwave and refrigerator. Our room was very clean and it was freshened on a daily basis.

The fan in the bathroom is very loud. The WIFI awash spotty and needs to be upgraded.

comfortable/good sized room. The breakfast was good and the service was good as well. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. All parking was on the street but that did not prove to be a problem.

We were not able to resolve a very poor wifi connection even after 5 days even though the staff tried their best to remedy the connection issues. I believe the poor wifi was due to the proximity of the router to a very substantial steel fire door assembly. The wifi may have been better in other parts of the complex. I need to keep my communication via internet open during my travels and the wifi problems made that much less convenient.

location was great, quiet area and great breakfast.

rooms could've been updated, carpet was a little sticky because it was so old, and there was a slight odor throughout the facility. Wish there was closer parking we had to park to the side of the basketball court at night and it was a little scary walking back to the room.

Breakfast provided was plentiful and good, serving and dining facilities clean. Staff was very pleasant. Rooms were spacious and clean but dated, shower pressure very poor. Location was good. Nice courtyard for sunny days.

The coffee wasn't up to par, and I'm not picky, however there was a selection of teas and hot chocolate to choose from, as well as juice, water, and sodas. The shower had no pressure.

How close it is to everything in the city. Breakfast was available at a good period of time unlike other facilities. I like how rustic the place is.

The carpet was wet when I checked in, and it had a certain smell that was not so desirable. Other tenants across my hallway was banging the doors early in the AM and late nights. But that's not the fault of the facility. There was not enough plug for electronics and charging. I had to move some appliances' plugs around and, thankfully, I brought a converter with me to include 2 plugs and 4 usb ports. The cabinet/drawers were not enough for 2 occupants so some of our clothes were kept in our luggage.
