Looked like an old style fashionable hotel. Rooms were very roomy and clean.
The parking garage had two different elevators to get in the hotel. No access from the hotel itself. No breakfast, but one you could pay for. That doesn’t bother me as much as they advertised quiche which they didn’t have anymore. The food they did have was pre wrapped food you get at any hotels free breakfast. My wife had to toast her own bagel and put cream cheese on it. It was a pre packaged cream cheese that was very hard to open. They handed her a knife and told her to use that. It slipped off the package and cut three of my wife’s fingers. With blood all over the package I asked for another one. When we paid we noticed they charged us for both cream cheese and then charged us $27 for a breakfast I could get at any convenience store for 10 bucks.

It was a great location, walking distance to everything downtown. It was an easy walk from the Riverwalk to all of the casinos and eateries! We were in town for the national bowling championship, and we were able to walk there from the hotel. I also liked the pri ate parking garage. It was nice not having to worry about parking or the security of the car!
There wasn't anything I could think of that I didn't like. The staff was friendly and helpful! There were two issues that came up while we were there, and they were fixed in a timely manner. So, overall, no complaints!

Location was perfect, 1/2 block from the river and three/four safely walkable blocks to the downtown casinos. Room size and layout were better than expected. My stay earned a Very Good overall, and Excellent for the staff. They were uniformly courteous and efficient, with the night staffer Nick particularly standing out. Keep up the good work, everybody!
Because every honest review needs a bit of down: it's an aging facility with some very minor dings (refrigerator door needs a nudge to close completely, that sort of minutiae). If you need ultramodern facilities somewhere else, you'll pay more for minimal improvements in a smaller room than these large ones. This is an outstanding value for location, rate, and room size.

The staff was wonderful, Vicki checked us in and accommodated us to the utmost and was extremely helpful, it was a getaway for my sister and I that was planned from last year and we were staying here the 1st night, Lake Tahoe the 2nd night to attend the Alabama concert and then back here the 3rd night, well last year our mom passed away unexpectedly but our dad told us to still go but then the fire happened in Lake Tahoe and they canceled the concert, so we rebooked everything for this year, was all set to go and 2 weeks ago on August 28th our dad passed away but had told us to still go so we did, I had teased my sister, when she asked what I got for a room, that I got a king bed, lol, sure enough when we checked in it was a king bed so karma got me, lol, but Vicki jumped right in to the rescue and took care of us and had us all set up for Saturday night but then we had to cancel and I called Saturday to do so and Nick tried to help but since I booked through Booking.com he couldn't so I canceled through Booking.com and it was going to charge me regardless because of the timing but when I went in again I sent an email regarding my circumstances and then they did cancel free of charge, this place and their staff, especially Vicki, Nick and the manager(never got a name) were exceptional and went above and beyond, thank you to all 3. There also was a lady on Saturday morning that was very helpful but I forgot her name and I apologize for that but she to was exceptional. A big big thank you to all of you
I have nothing but praise for this place especially the staff

Super clean! Very well-maintained! Great location because so much is within walking distance: Riverwalk, restaurants, museums, parks. Free parking at the resort. Great view of the river from our room. Quiet! Affordable. We felt very safe/secure.
Not 😔, more like 😊. Honestly, the only thing we found slightly annoying was having to take the elevator to the lobby from our room, walk to the garage, and then take another elevator up to our car. It was a bit of a process each time. Also, beware of the garage itself. Prior to the pandemic, this was a valet-only garage, and it is not public-parking friendly. Maybe they'll be able to return to that someday, which would be amazing!!! 🤞While it was possibly one of the most well-maintained resorts, it is also straight out of the 80's: oak EVERYTHING and lots of brass, lol. I'm sure it was beautiful when first built, and continues to be beautiful and clean, but is quite dated. Really, these are not complaints, truly. We look forward to staying at the Plaza again! 🌟

Centrally located hotel and the parking was no where near as bad as some reviewers described. Special mention of the bar tender that was working when we were there - brilliant ambassador for the hotel. The view we had was one of the best in any room we had in our entire Canada/US trip.
Nothing really.

Excellent location. Very comfortable beds, and pillows (would love to get some of the pillows for home). Nice bar with very different cocktails.
No convenience items to purchase. No ice machine on the floor - had to go to the bar to get ice.

I absolutely loved the secure parking. The staff is totally amazing and treat you like old friends. The view from the upper floors (17) had and great view of mountains and the city at the same time with a lil sneak peak of the river. The indoor pool was a total hit with the kids as well as the pool table.

The place is a time capsule, quite dated. But in saying that, was exceptionally clean and maintained. The pool and facilities were terrific. The room was spacious, although the decor was almost laughable. Felt like grandma's house.
Nothing really. Everything was terrific. I have no complaints. Well, the parking garage was pretty funky, but there's no changing that. You absolutely cannot have a tall SUV or truck. You won't make it.

Staff at front desk was very polite and helpful. 7th floor amenities were nice. Bartender was helpful. Parking for our motorcycles was convenient and safe.
The condition of our room, clearly it's a older building however some of the room seemed deteriorating, particularly the ceiling. The lighting were we parked out motorcycles was poor.
