The staff were amazing. They don't stay through the night, but since I was meant to arrive late, they called me ahead of time and made arrangements how I would get my keys and car tag. They even left instructions on how I would get to my room. Awesome and very considerate service.
The rooms never had any microwave heater which can be very helpful. The cottages are kind of scattered. I guess they don't provide the map in the late arrival package. If you plan to arrive late, please request a map. It will save you some trouble.

The lake is spectacular. It has a nice sandy beach. Although I was not traveling with children, I intend to return with my grandchildren. There are lots of recreational opportunities right there.
It's a small thing, but they could upgrade the game room: darts for the dart board and chips for the jumbo connect four game.

This place was phenomenal. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with smiles and laughs. While canoeing out on the lake, a staff member in a kayak even shared about the local wildlife. The lodging was simple but homey. Slightly confusing layout but with their map, it’s a breeze! Our room was incredibly clean and kept cool. Our bed had three sheets on it, one even being used as the bottom instead of a fitted sheet, which was odd but make no difference. The restaurant on sight had a limited menu but that was to be expected with it slowly opening back up. The food was delicious. The chocolate chip cookies are a must! The resort offers information and a lists of sights and excursions in the area which is super helpful. The property offers so much to do that if we’d wanted, we could have spent our entire trip there and stayed busy!
My only complaints would be that we had booked a room with two queen beds and a Mountain View but instead had a twin and queen bed in our room with a view of trees and a partial view of the parking lot. It didn’t effect us accommodation wise and we didn’t spend enough time in the room to be bothered by the view. My one other complaint is the lack of staff access. The office closes at 4 o’clock so we had no where to go with questions. It was a short trip for us so it wasn’t a big deal but did prevent us from being able to fully utilize the facility. I’m sure there’s a reason for the lack of staff around!

Only got to stay for a couple nights on a last minute getaway but the hotel and location ended up being way better than expected. Lots of activities to do but also nice and quiet. Can’t wait to come back for a longer family trip
