The first day we went to the indoor swimming pool and the water was warm but we didn’t swim at that time. On December 25 in the early evening my daughter and I left the room to spend some down time relaxing in the pool. However the water was ice cold. I told the person at the desk about the situation, his answer was he didn’t have any idea and he was reluctant to do anything. In the elevator back to our room other guests were also talking about the cold water in the pool. I chose this particular hotel because they did have a heated indoor pool. The next morning i again told the person about the water being cold same response, I don’t know!!! I am home now and for all I know the pool is still too cold to swim in.

My son and I take an annual father/son trip each year and this was his first time visiting Asheville, NC. We absolutely loved the hotel. Upon checking in the staff was very professional and helpful during check-in. The room was absolutely stunning. Honestly, had everything that we needed. We took advantage of the heated pool and fitness center. Both were really well maintained. The breakfast had plenty of options! Cleaning/Housekeeping staff made sure that room was stocked with toiletries, water bottles. Beds were comfortable, and the view from the room was great! My son absolutely loved the pool and glow. of the hotel at night!

this hotel is very clean, quiet and has very good amenities such as a well equipped fitness room, indoor pool and the availability of a good sized pool next door at the sister Best Western hotel. I like to swim laps and it is big enough to get some exercise in it even with a family with 2 kids in the shallow end. Staff there will let you in and has special pool towels. Breakfast included a wide variety of healthy food choices. The dining staff person ,Christina wiped the tables and cleared away any debris as soon as guests left. She was cheerful and friendly. The cleaner, Tatiana, was friendly and cheerful also and very thorough with the room. The room is modern , comfortable beds, and has good hanging and storage spece plus a very useful desk work area. I also appreciated the suitcase dollies as I had a lot of luggage to bring in by myself.
Front desk staff are the weakest link. They did not look up from their computers much or greet or communicate at all. They also look a bit scruffy , with the exception of the young asian man. Spruce up the look of the first and last people your guests see as that leaves a lasting impression and will encourage people to come back, even though the rest of the hotel is very good.

Everything went well. It is a beautiful hotel with a staff that genuinely loves their jobs. They are dedicated to making each guest feel pampered. It isn't magic. They aren't miracle workers. Don't come with too high an expectation. It is a functional hotel. But there is no reason to be afraid or skeptical. It is all on the up and up and the guests are honest tourists and vacationers, hard-working migrating construction professionals among artists who come into the area to play live shows. Everyone is noise respectful and keeps to themselves since many here work a lifestyle like myself where we cannot forego sleep to stay healthy both mentally and physically. It is not a party hotel.
at this point I would be horribly nitpicky, there is literally zero downside to staying here.

The hotel was easy to find and the facility was clean. The staff was friendly but not particularly engaging or overtly offering help to find local restaurants or attractions. The breakfast area was well appointed with plenty of seating and supplies; the breakfast items were only average.
My main complaint centers around late evening noise. There was noise internal to the hotel as well as motorcycle noise outside the hotel. The only other minor issue concerned light infiltration into the room. The window shade would s not come all the way down to the window's sill allowing light from a neighboring property's security lamp to enter the room.

So many choices! I love when there are chocolate chips for waffles. Also I have high personal standards for sausage and the sausage was Perfect to me. I think the decor was very funky! The lamps were a bit weird, but mostly in a fun way. The shower and the products in it were great and I was sad that they are only made for hotel use. I wish we could have stayed longer, but it was a late night and an early morning. If we're ever even vaguely in the area we would go out of our way to stay here again, which is not something I have said about a hotel before. There is a fish tank in the breakfast dining area!!
The door to the bathroom in our room didn't lock, or at least I didnt see a way to lock it- I know it's a single bed that usually has couples, but I personally like the security and privacy of a lock. Again, it was a late night and early morning, so I might have just missed it!

The property may well be brand new, but it is still sparkly clean, well-appointed, and situated in a location just outside the downtown area. It sits next to a motel-style Best Western, sharing a parking lot, and it is the nicer of the two for sure - we've stayed in both. The rooms were plenty big, the pillows were comfortable, Kureg was provided with coffee, and the shower/bathroom was nice. No carpet on the floors, too, made it seem much cleaner. Nice, modern feel throughout.
The price for two people spending one night in a standard king room was a bit steep. Not sure of the breakdown for Asheville tourist taxes, local county, state, etc., and it doesn't matter much when considering a bottom line - but the cost would have be more appropriate with our kids and two queen beds for the same hotel. I blame the economy in large part for this, along with the business decision to make the property nicer, which conveyed those upgrade costs to the consumers. On the note of trying to save some operating costs, some of the eco-friendly light bulbs in the lamps were better suited for corporate, flouresent lighting. Soft white bulbs would've made it seem less like a doctor's office in the bedroom area.

Second time staying here! We love it! Smells clean when you walk in. Breakfast area is huge theres a big variety of foods to pick from. The entire facility is super clean and spacious! Location was great for us easy to get on and off of highway! Felt like we we in the middle of it ALL roads took us everywhere we wanted without a hassle!
There’s really nothing we can complain about BUT the wallllss are super thin I don’t know if it’s just us and our luck, but the people above us literally stomped since the minute we walked in our room though it was just due to check in, buuuttt nope night time came & there was soo much stomping our toddler and 6m old couldn’t get to sleep because of that. This won’t stop us from visiting this place again though!

The rooms were spacious. Breakfast was good with lots of options, especially the pancake maker - loved by kids!! Staff was very nice and responsive. Great location and we got a great deal on 3 nights. We didn’t use pool, but all very nice.
Nothing really except we were on 2nd floor by ice machine. Since floors are hard surface you can really hear people upstairs. I’d stay on top floor next time. One morning breakfast potatoes were not thoroughly cooked. All minor issues

Good breakfast choices; great staff; great location; loved the room decor and the bathroom accessories ( soap, shampoo & conditioner) that were provided; the sliding bathroom door with a mirror that hid the closet when opened; and the room was very clean and cheery. We have been traveling on vacation for the past week and a half and GLo was by far the best hotel we stayed at. It was a nice way to end the final days of our vacation. Thank you!
It was all great!
