This is a very clean and quite modern hotel in a convenient location. Minutes to downtown Boone, many dining locations nearby. But the hotel itself is more important: clean, very comfortable room with al the necessities included: coffee marker, microwave, fridge... The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Free water downstairs, free cookies. Wonderful american breakfast - there are things to choose from, at least. The area felt safe, plenty of parking. The hallway has very beautiful and cozy fireplace, you can sit nearby. Plus, they have swimming pool that kids enjoy in the evenings. Overall, I can not recall any negative things to mention here - all was simply great. The price was a little bit higher than usual due to the demand (Memorial day weekend), but still - the place exceeded all the expectations.

Honestly, all was great.

The room was very spacious with plenty of storage and space provided for luggage, as well as a large sitting area with a sofa, chairs, and desk area. We loved having extra space to spread out without feeling cramped. The hotel was extremely quiet and everyone was friendly. The breakfast was enjoyable!

The mattress was a little more firm than I like. The bathroom was also a bit smaller than I typically see in a hotel. However, the overall room size more than made up for the limited bathroom space.

We liked the hotel very much, location was good. The breakfast on Saturday morning was excellent and went back on Sunday morning and it was not near as good as the previous morning, maybe leftover gravy?? The lobby was very nice with a large fireplace, we sat there and had our coffee, very relaxing. We drove up there for the snow (up to 6 inches predicted), we only got a few flurries, not the hotel's fault), but it was relaxing there.

The bathroom sink cold water was so hard to turn on, minor problem since the hot water worked fine. The fridge was completely turned off at the hotel's request, even a few hours after turning it on, it just didn't cool like it should, so I came back with ruined liquid coffee creamer, luncheon meat and salad greens. (We took food in case we got snowed in for a few days, HAHA,, not the case on this trip!)

Breakfast was good and staff monitoring it were great.

We are coffee drinkers so when we book we look for rooms with coffee maker. Our room had the maker but no pot for it. We asked for a pot and were told there are no spares and one from an unoccupied room could not be used, i.e., tough - you just can't use it. Not a big deal as coffee is available where breakfast is. Just a bit of a slap in the face. Also, ice machines were not working and we were told they had not been working for months.

Hotel was far above our expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had a special request and the desk clerk CHRIS went above and beyond to accommodate my request. Excellent customer service! Also, the breakfast buffet was exemplary!

Not a thing!

The room was comfortable with slight peeling on the bathroom ceiling. TV and available channels helped me feel at home. Weather didn’t permit walking so we drove and it was convenient to most places we went. Quiet neighborhood during our visit.

Ice machine broke on floor 1. I learned a little too late and not through the motel Appalcart is available and FREE. Didn’t get any suggestions for eating, entertainment, or other activities. Wish I had checked out the breakfast so I can better plan our future visits.

The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and a nice size. The breakfast was very good. The staff did a great job replenishing the food. It was hot and fresh!

The location was good to go anywhere you want. I just wish it had been more of a walkable distance from town. For some reason the drapes didn't close. They are designed to be thar way so jo need to contact the staff.

Room was clean, bathroom clean as well as linens. Breakfast was some of the best continental breakfast I've had in a while. Kids really enjoyed the pool area. It's a dated facility but you can tell renovations have been done in the past. Liked the common area with the large fireplace. Hotel was centrally located and not a far drive from anything.

Beds were on the hard side. Did a lot of tossing and turning.

Staff so helpful, professional and kind. Good breakfast.

It doesn't meet actual needs of physically challenged. By that I mean even if person simply uses a cane or crutches for temporary time. But those with greater needs really have difficulty. It probably satisfies all ADA requirements but our population is aging and so need to think beyond to serve your ever growing clients. It was overpriced but know they capitalize on autumn leaves and football game weekend.

Rooms weren't ready when I checked in at 6:00 PM when they were supposed to be ready at 3:00. Not enough staff to clean the rooms and the front desk personnel were scrambling to accommodate. It was not their fault but the hotel needs to hire more people. Front desk tried everything they could but with not enough staff they could not keep up. The hotel manager was even assisting in cleaning the rooms. I had an event to get ready for that I did not make on time. Everything else was fine once I was checked in.
