The basics are perfect, clean, well located, comfortable. But they also offer good amenities including house plants and bike rentals we didn't get to try. But the best part was the staff who were exceptionally kind to us for our short anniversary trip. An early check in and a surprise gift. We loved the views and being able to walk down to the park adjacent for fireworks on the 4th
I wish I'd known more about what they offered before we arrived. I probably would have gotten a plant! 😀

Centrally located in downtown with many restaurants near by. The daily happy hour in the lobby was a nice touch and the front desk service went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our stay which we appreciated. The rooms were modern with a nice bathroom, comfy soft beds, and had additional amenities for sale in the room at a fairly reasonable price.
The parking situation is a bit of a nightmare. We did valet which was 40 dollars a night or 30 dollars for self parking. The attendants were not in their game, didn’t care to help when we arrived and not very helpful on departure either.. I don’t hold this against the hotel, but will definitely self park next time as I had to carry all my bags to the car on the 7th floor which kinda sucked..

It’s in the middle of everything! First Class treatment the moment you arrive! The Lobby is absolutely gorgeous and the Front Desk Staff! So Welcoming, my room was Beautiful with Robes that you can’t wait to wrap yourself in. Although it’s a Pet Friendly Hotel you wouldn’t know they accept them. I requested a non pet room which was honored No Problem!! I Absolutely recommend and WILL return to This Hotel every time I return to Charlotte! Thank you for a great stay

Only stayed for a day but a great location. In walking distance to everything. Cute cocktail hour. Parking is located at hotel for a fee. A bit confusing trying to get to the main hotel from parking lot, but you figure it out.
Cocktail hour was very simple. For the price you pay they should be able to do more. Would have been nice to have the adjustable lighting in the bathroom make it brighter. Even with the setting all the way up, it was still a bit too dim.

The hotel is fabulous! Décor and layout was very upscaled and sophisticated. Our room was upgraded for my husband's birthday to a room with a great view of the park and Truist ballfield. The restaurant downstairs was very nice and the rooftop bar/restaurant was everything we were expecting! Excellent service and views. The nightly social hour was a pleasant surprise and the location was PERFECT!
Housekeeping didn't come to our room any during our stay but that may have been due to staffing and maybe I was supposed to call for service.. not a deal breaker just needed more information.

it’s location to the convention center was just a few blocks away, this made it very convenient for us to get to our event without having to drive around. There were also plenty of places to eat around the hotel, as well.
I didn’t like that parking wasn’t included in our stay, at 30 dollars a day that was highly inconvenient especially since other amenities aren’t available like breakfast. Our keycard should allow us access to the garage and the ability to leave.

The staff were truly outstanding and their attention to detail was amazing. Our room was well appointed with a super comfortable bed, two chairs that were perfect for reading, lots of plugs as well as USB ports. The public spaces were soaring and airy and Angeline’s (restaurant and bar) was welcoming and the food choices were well thought out but pricey.
The bathroom lighting was such that it was difficult to tell if my make-up was on properly or if my husband’s morning shave was the way he liked it. A lighted makeup mirror would be a great addition to the room.

Very friendly, capable, and efficient staff -- at the desk, at valet stand, and at the bar (rooftop bar at night was very cool) and restaurant. Luxurious towels, great robe. Great decor and I loved the subtle literary vibe. Room was a good size (much better than one would usually find in a large city) and we enjoyed the chairs in our room for reading and relaxing. Great hotel!
The large floor tile in the bathroom is attractive, but if some water is inadvertently splashed on the floor from the sink or shower, the tile is so smooth that it produces a treacherous slippery situation. Be careful.

Check-In: I reserved via booking.com. In the past, credit card used to reserve was also used to complete purchase UPON CHECK OUT. Front desk would not allow me to 'turn off' incidentals so that a credit card would not be required; and, charged me prior to entry. Valet: Understaffed and very tight mobile lobby.

Very nice rooms, windows with a view were nice and our spa tub was really nice. The Angeline’s restaurant was really good and the rooftop bar was fun as well for my girlfriend and I.
Went for a walk in the park and got asked multiple times for money. Made me want to stay in the hotel for the most part.
