The room was super clean and everyone there was super nice and courteous! The layout of the hotel was amazing. The valet team were great when we needed to get our car. So helpful! It was colder than expected that week but did go up to the roof top lounge. The views were simply stunning!
We booked a king bedroom, and the room was a little smaller than I thought it would be. There wasn't much in the way of storing clothes, but it was manageable. There was a mini-Fridge in the room but no microwave. Its great if all you're storing are drinks, but if you couldn't bring leftovers home from a restaurant.

Everything was very nice I especially liked the hostess at the front desk. He was very friendly, kind and very much answered every question we had and was able to assist in every way. The bathroom was the best part in the room we loved the aesthetic of the hotel from the time you walk in the hotel to the nice parking garage available around the corner. Everyone was helpful
The room was a little small. The windows open but there wasn’t a screen in any of the windows so we didn’t want to keep them open. The one window shade didn’t go up because the cord was broke but that didn’t matter to us we were facing a side of the street that the sun rises & sets on so it wasn’t opened often.

Everything was nice but what really made our stay great was the friendly front desk staff...especially Keisha! When we walked in she greeted us as if she'd known us for years and seemed really excited to host us. She didn't rush us along and went above and beyond her job requirements to make us feel welcome! She needs a promotion and if one isn't available, it needs to be created!
The rooms were a bit smaller than expected. Our suitcase took up a big piece of the floor and there wasn't a closet to store it away in...just a cabinet-like space. I'd have loved to have a bit more space.

Very comfortable beds. The late night and early morning staff and valet were delightful. The hotel was modern and clean. The rooftop view was delightful and the neighborhood felt very safe to walk around at night and enjoy the Christmas Lights.
The young man who checked us in was condescending. I wish we could buy a beer or two in the lobby to take up to our rooms, and local favorite snacks for sale. The luggage carts were rickety. There are unexpected single steps on the upper floors so it is difficult to navigate the carts. The room was small. However, the value was fantastic and we were only stopping through for a night. I would not be able to stand that room for more than a night or two. But for our purposes, it was perfect.

There was a sense of uniqueness that made this place very interesting and retro!!! Its an old building but has such interesting character and the rooms are a bit smaller but very comfortable and CLEAN!!! The beds and pillows were great!! And it's so close to a lot of things to do in the city. The terrace was awesome!!! Even with it being a good chill in the air, wear a jacket and enjoy the city lights!!!
The elevators were a little bit of a challenge. However the idea of swiping your room key to be able to access the floors was a feeling of security but we spent more time trying to get to the correct floor than it should have taken. Other than that slight inconvenience, we managed to enjoy our stay.

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel: perfect and super convenient. I loved the decoration and style, and how great is the restaurant! Also enjoyed the valet service - the guys are exceptional! Kudos to them for working so cheerfully in that freezing day! - valet was so practical and convenient as well! The night front desk girl AMORA - what an amazing girl, so nice to talk to, and so helpful! She was running around helping all guests with the weirdest requests (including me), and being so lovely while doing so! She was fast responsive, and professional, while being so personable! Room was good. *-*
The reception staff lady who checked us (guests) in. For a first encounter and first impression of the hotel, that girl was definitely NOT a nice example. It was a very cold afternoon, the check-in line was huge, with a LOT of people hanging around the lobby, and the front desk girl was looking like she was mad at everyone, and was super rude each time I asked a question. It was like she barely wanted to be there. - In comparison, the night girl - Amora- was a sweetie, running around and helping everyone as fast and as best as she could. Coffee machine in room 527 was not working... Wish you guys provided water in the bedrooms, even if they charged for them.

Only thing negative I could say is booking needs to let you know there is a 75.00 security deposit a night added to your bill at check in. We did the valet parking on site of the hotel because it was 38.00 a day and you could come and go as you pleased instead of parking in the garages because they charge you every time you leave and come back. It was a excellent location and we walked most of the time to everywhere. We went to an event at the PPg arena and it was a 12 minute walk which wasn’t bad at all saved us from getting a Uber or having to pay for parking at the arena.

The hotel is beautiful. The room was clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a humongous shower that had an integrated shower chair and could accommodate a wheelchair if the need be. There was plenty of drawer and closet space, a desk, a fridge, a coffee maker with plenty of supplies, a hairdryer, an iron, an alarm clock, etc. - all of the comforts of home. There were several adjoining rooms which would be great for family and/or friends traveling together.
There was no microwave in the room. There was a full length mirror in the room but it was not hanging on the wall. It was sort of leaning against the wall and attached to the wall only by the safety hook. This was a hazzard as someone in our party nearly tripped.

i liked how accommodating the staff was when the ac went out in our room, they upgraded our room for the inconvenience.
i didn’t like that booking.com didn’t have the 75$ per night security deposit policy that the hotel. it was a shock to have to pay an extra $225 total for the room. it wasn’t in our budget so we had to order pizza every night instead of going to the fancy restaurants, going to the botanical gardens, and the carnegie science center. we spent our anniversary cooped up in our hotel room instead.

This is a beautiful hotel, and it's centrally located making all the downtown Pittsburgh area totally walkable. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The building is beautiful, and the rooms are updated and clean. The room was VERY compact, but it had everything you need for a short stay.
The ONLY downside was the temperature of the room. It was really hot, and even when we dropped the temp down as far as it would allow us to (65) it took a couple hours to cool down.
