bed was very comfortable, 16th floor, great view of the river. Janet was our waitress several times, and even though this was not her usually work location, she was exceptional, friendly, and attentive. Also all of the maid/ cleaning folks were always tidying up, and was impressed by the staff keeping all spotless, especially since there were 3 weddings and baseball and football games this weekend!!Great job.

Only issue with the room was when we got there it smelled musty/ moldy. Room was very clean so I think it may be an issue with the air vent. I sprayed Febreeze and it was fine.

The location was perfect and within walking distance from the subway. We rode the subway to PNC park.

The staff was little to help at all. No one really spoke English so they couldn't understand what we were asking! You have to pay a lot to park per night on top of an already hefty room rate. It got super busy and the line for the elevator was about 30 mins long!!!!! To get back up to your room, we had to be snuck into the service elevator to access our room during check in time, it was insane! Sadly I forgot my charger and had to go back up! Ah!

The manager and check-in/check-out staff working both Friday 6/16/23 afternoon and Saturday 6/17/23 morning were so amazingly welcoming and made the Taylor Swift concert experience even more enjoyable. This hotel went above and beyond playing Taylor’s music, providing cutouts for photo ops and with a professional photographer, and providing pink or red heart sunglasses during check-in. Every staff member we came in contact with including the Starbucks vendor stand, was just so friendly and helpful. The location was right across from Point State Park and was an easy/safe walk to Acrisure Stadium. The room we got had a river view and great view of Acrisure Stadium too. I will definitely stay here again!

Location! Location! Location! Best hotel to stay at if you are going around and about in Pittsburgh. You can walk to the stadiums, the Point, and Market Square from there.

We arrived at check-in and valet was full. On game days, I would suggest the hotel to contract out with several garages around the area to ensure they have enough space for everyone. As Pittsburgh isn't very accessible to Public Transportation, most people staying are driving in. These old hotels do not have self-parking on-site so make sure you are going over and beyond for your guests.

Valet parking was well worth the $$. Great staff and quick and efficient Transportation to pnc Park and Rivers Casino. The room was good, clean.

The so-called buffet breakfast for $18 a person. The only options were scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, some fruit and breads/bagels. Orange juice and coffee. Noone came to our table to offer water or any other beverages.Definitely not worth the money. Most of our stays have included breakfasts of this type for no charge. Maybe better luck and cheaper ordering off the menu.

My family and I were visiting Carnegie Science Center. The Wyndham Grand is less than a mile from the science center. Also in close proximity are downtown, Heinz Field and PNC Park. The location is ideal for any Pittsburgh attraction. The valet parking makes it easy to enter and exit. The onsite restaurant/ lounge, 3 Rivers, was very good and convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was very clean and our children enjoyed it. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip.

The bed was slightly worn. I am used to a firm mattress and it was not. It was obvious the mattress has been in the room for some time. I didn't see a list of channels for the television in the room. Guests prefer to have these due to not being familiar with the local channel lineup. I had to search for my favorite channels by flipping through... not a big deal.

The location was lovely and very close to the attractions we were interested in. The valet parking was super easy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and well appointed.

The elevators were always packed and there was no access to the stairs. Eventually staff allowed guests to use the stairs due to the high influx of guests trying to access the elevators at one time. The lobby and common areas were very crowded and noisy. The room had definite signs of age and wear.

It was in a great location for our needs. We were in Pittsburgh for the TS concert and it was within walking distance to the stadium. The staff was courteous, kind and helpful.

Our room was really outdated looked tired. It was clean, but not maintained well. The door had obvious holes in it from hardware which had been replaced and the room had a musty odor. The overall feeling of our room was not cozy and welcoming. For the grossly overpriced rate we paid because of the concert, we expected more.

The staff was friendly, and valet guys were super nice and careful with our vehicle. In its day, this hotel was definitely Grand...its still nice, but you can see the wear and tear on it. It is definitely in need of upgrades. To be specific, the plumbing and the mattresses. The mattress on the sofa bed really needs replacing. For a small child, it would probably be okay. The bathroom plumbing was very slow to drain. All in all, it's not a bad place to stay.

The hotel needs upgrading.

due to staffing issues no maid service throughout 4 day stay. unacceptable. they need to find temporary employees to at least empty trash and collect dirty towels. no replenishment of amenities to include coffee/ tea or towels. ran out of toilet paper twice. unacceptable for cost and additionally we were never told this upon check on!! they handed us a paper that INCLUDED a note that maid service has need suspended. In my opinion this is something that check in staff should TELL you. I stay here many times a year cause my mom lives in building next door. but instead I will find hotels they have maid service. Call in advance
