The location, amenities and rooms are exceptionally good for the price you are getting. Nice bed with a large kitchen. Bathroom very good too. Definitely a good experience.

The only thing is that the building on the other side, use to have trash trucks and at night there is a little bit of noise. If you are not too picky with noise at night, it should not be a problem.

No breakfast at this location. Then again not needed given that there is 24hr convience store across the street. There is also a 7-11 down the street to pick up a warm breakfast on the go.

that it’s within downtown and you can maneuver around easily, also the kitchenette area allowing us to make our own meals. the staff is also very friendly and helpful

Great location, short walk to Station Square or anywhere downtown - 15-20 min. walk to HEINZ field. Communication with the property manager was good, and check in was very simple (basically just use your code and walk in). Apartment was very comfortable and spacious, and it was nice to stay in an apartment; plenty of beds and privacy. We only stayed one night, but I could definitely see staying here longer. Parking garage across the street with in/out privileges. Bonus: our two bedroom unit had TWO bathrooms!

I'd say the only problem we had was with the WiFi. Check-in instructions gave only the password, not which network to use. Instructions were in the elevator, but they did not work for me (network not found). I saw three different networks that *probably* were for the property and was able to connect to one, but could not hold a connection very well. So I just used my mobile data. No worries. Full disclosure: I did not contact the property about the WiFi, as it was not a big deal for me. Note: this is NOT a hotel. It is EXACTLY like renting a furnished apartment for a short stay.

The location and the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff I met - the cleaners were cheerful and helpful. i did not meet anyone else.

I arrived in the early hours of the morning, no around. I had to by intuition find our how to enter the building - code for door - and work out my room. I was sent some numbers by email. No explanation. After an international flight one is tired. The email should explain the process. I felt stranded. Further more payment was taken very early. I know this is supporting a good cause and if I returned I might stay again because despite the poor communication this hostel is a very competitive price.

The bed and blankets were comfortable. Plenty of towels and the decor was interesting.

I had never stayed here before and did not know that the front door keypad was out of order. There was no sign and no text. I did not know there was a rear entrance. My phone was out of charge so I had to walk back several blocks to find a place to charge my phone to call the front desk.

The place was really clean. Toiletries for 1, but towels for 2. Keurig in room, microwave, stove, utensils, refrigerator. I had a setup with 2 single beds, couch, and TV. It was a 20-minute walk from the PPG arena. 24 hr store across the street and a couple of restaurants a few feet away. The parking garage was right next door. 24 hrs for 25$.

Very difficult to get coffee nearby unless you walk there. Parking is near impossible on the street. Lots of pedestrians, so please drive carefully!

Excellent location for the Pittsburgh Penguins game. Great pizza place on the next block. The staff was very friendly. The accomodations were great, very clean and spacious. $25 for parking i didnt like but know they have no control over that but maybe some parking vouchers after a stay or 2 would be highly recommended. The security guard was very nice and a nice touch. We fed him pizza and soda as a thanks for making sure we were safe. I will highly recommend and already have some friends planning on booking there. I will definitely stay there everytime i go to Pittsburgh, if any other places available like that in Pittsburgh in other areas of downtown in that price range id definitely love to know about them. Thanks for the ease of checking in and out and the communication from the staff was steller. Im so glad i found that online. Thanks so much!

The $25 parking fee i didnt like, the location was great but would prefer more lighted areas but overall it was great.

Very good price for the location. Was walking distance to ballpark and train station. Also close to public transit but didn't have info on how to use it. Close to many affordable eating places.

Room was very uncomfortable as we came in late April when, in Pittsburgh, the temps are typically in the 40's. All we had was a small portable heater for warmth in room 5c. Seems like another room i was in previously was more comfortable. Can't remember if there was a thermostat or it was just warmer outside. Also the change from the keybox system to the electronic system was a little confusing with no communication prior to arrival.

My apartment was big and comfy, with a nice bathroom and a coffee machine; also, the location is pretty agile if you arrive with the bus or train. When I arrived and I found that my code wasn't working on the main entrance, the staff responded right away. Be sure to read all the informations and the messages on the site, or it can be a little tricky to get into the building!

To be downtown the place is cheap, but still is not as cheap as an hostel: to book one of the apartment felt like too much for a single traveller - still, this is indeed the cheapest option in that area! Also, I would have love to have just a little bit more choice for the breakfast. I know it's not included, but since the coffe machine is there, it would be bad to find just a box of biscuits or some tea. Lastly, there is no way to leave the baggage anywhere in the building after check-out: so if you have a late train or bus out of Pittsburgh, prepared to be overcumbered!
