A nice stay. Very central, easy walk to everything. Generally the room met what is expect for the price. It was clean, good service, nice shower (large bathroom!)

The hotel's gym could need a little more updating, and the restaurant's menu was dated (however there are many good places to eat nearby). One note: when I was waiting for my room to be ready, after already asking the desk twice, they just let me sit in the lobby for over 1.5 hours, finally I got a bit frustrated, asked again and they said it had been ready. Not great since I was sitting in front of you for that long. It's not a big point, but something to be mindful of. Overall a good stay!

The lobby is furnished well. The furniture upholstery could use updating. The front staff was courteous and helpful but appearance could be improved with uniformity in their attire especially in the off hours staff. The bathroom is well decorated with high end fixtures.

The location though walking distance to shops and restaurants is next door to a homeless shelter. Though they do not bother the guests, it might take some people aback considering the hotel is rated above range. The room carpet can be updated, maybe remove it entirely and reveal the hardwood floors possibly underneath it and just use area rugs. The lamp between the 2 beds do not work because there is no electric plug. A plug in table would be great between the beds to charge the cell phone.

Continental breakfast buffet was offered in their lovely restaurant , and was a surprise as we thought it was only available on weekends. But apparently now it is offered every day. Front desk, valet and restaurant staff were all quite accommodating. Loved the double shower head in the bathroom. The room was spacious and we liked the traditional, homey decor rather than the cold, cookie cutter modern decor of many other hotels. And we much appreciated that it was quiet at night so we could get a good night’s sleep. Central location near PPAC.

I have stayed here previously and knew that both the accommodations and staff were top notch. Very comfortable beds and everything in the room was spotlessly clean. The location is also an easy walk to the riverfront with plenty of nice shops and good restaurants nearby.

There is nothing about the hotel we didn’t like but you need to be aware that there are several support organizations for homeless folks nearby. As two senior ladies we felt comfortable walking in the area but remained vigilant to the fact that homelessness and poor mental health go hand in hand.

The location was very convenient and we were able to walk just about everywhere very easily. The staff was very accommodating and it was easy to get in and out of.

The restaurant was only open a small Portion of the time so we couldn’t get an after dinner drink (at 8PM) which was weird but it was a Sunday and there were bars within walking distance. Also, I had read the reviews about the mission across the street so I was expecting to encounter unhoused people. It’s not the hotels fault and I felt safe to walk at all times of the day.

Old fashioned class with all the moderation conveniences. Staff really friendly and helpful, lovely chill atmosphere, great food, perfect location. Arrived before official check-in time, expecting to have to negotiate leaving my bags, but was given room straight away without having to ask.

I have no complaints whatsoever. I was made very welcome, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Loved the quaintness of the hotel, the quality of the furniture, the room, loved the bathroom and amenities provided. Also, we enjoyed the complimentary coffee, cookies and breakfast items.

The location is superb, convenient to so many places within walking distance. A bit uneasy about the characters in the neighborhood. Many homeless folks, on drugs and wandering close to the hotel.

Location was excellent, we were going to the "Waterfire" show, the hotel was within walking distance to the rivers and a lot of quality restaurants. Our receptionist, Molly, was extremely helpful, personable and a pleasure to see whenever we returned from any of our outings. We had a wonderful waitress, Christina, at breakfast. Very cheery and efficient, our breakfast was a pleasant experience mainly due to Christina. We also really enjoyed the unlimited coffee, snacks, and water.

The room was very nice. Very clean and spacious. The staff were nice too.

I tried to check in prior to The normal check in time of 4 PM and they wanted to charge me an additional $25 to do so so I decided not to. Also, valet parking additional charge of $40 for one night. I feel that this should be included in your hotel cost due to how expensive it is each night.

bathrooms need better cleaning, hair in bathroom when checked in, needs better vacuuming in rooms
