The hotel was clean, the room was nice just needed more towels and washcloths. Breakfast was good.

We had a family matter that arose back home and we needed to return home. We were given the run around who would give us a my money back for one night. The girl at the front desk when asked to speak to the manager was questioning me before she got the manager. Which I did not go into detail with her.

The room was located in a very quiet location away from highway noise. We particularly liked that the bed was not against a wall adjoining another room. The staff was cordial and professional. Breakfast was well stocked.

Our first morning did not have hot water for one of our showers. Along with a clogged toilet there was some delay getting the problems corrected.

I like everything. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast was very good, area was very clean and fully stocked. The location was very close to the Interstate and the state roads I wanted. Some restaurant were within walking distance other were just a few minutes away. I would definitely recommend it.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was different daily and tasty

No channel guide for the tv and I couldn't move the shower head around. When I called the desk for lotion because it was empty when we arrived, it took 2 days to get more. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.

i frequently stay at hampton inns in a few northeastern locations & they’re always adequate, but the smithfield ri location was outstanding. the decor felt fresh, the window curtain glided down smoo, even the towels seemed fluffier than at other hampton inn. i requested a room with no neighbors, if available, and i slept better than i have for decades! seriously, i haven’t sleep well since early 90s can’t tell you about the complementary breakfast because i slept through it😅

Location of breakfast room ideal as just off reception. Quality of breakfast good and options available. Deb very friendly on breakfast duties. Room very comfortable and huge comfortable bed. Checkin at reception with Jesse was excellent and later with Alex on reception the service again was superb. The pool was small but nice to have. All in all I have to say the hotel was ideal with exception of location sadly. The service we received from Jesse, Alex and Deb was first class, all very friendly and interested in you and it was easily the best service we received from the 4 hotels we stayed in on our trip.

Perhaps more choice of pastries at breakfast. Unfortunately the location wasn't ideal as it was further from Newport than I realised. However, the price reflected that so I would stay again for a night or 2 maximum as you could tie in visits to Newport and Plymouth and maybe Cape Cod too.

The breakfast was very nice. Veggie omelet and sausage was the hot choice the first day and scrambled eggs and bacon (the best I've had in a long time) on the second day. There were many choices.... bagels, toast or muffins, and my favorite, pumpkin pancake batter along with regular to make yourself. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and hard boiled eggs, oatmeal with toppings along with a choice of juices. Coffee bar was available 24/7. Can you tell I love breakfast?!! I also have to acknowledge the woman who set up the breakfast, she was lovely and helpful. Also, Geronimo helped us get ice in the kitchen when we forgot to get it upstairs. Tiffany at the front desk was also lovely and overworked but she handled it like a pro. The phone was ringing, guests were requesting help and she, very professionally, handled every situation efficiently. I also forgot a few items and she quickly supplied what I needed. She is a gem and should be fully appreciated for her good service and efficiency and professionalism.

I really liked this hotel. It's impeccably clean. EXCELLENT wifi. Convenient to college area, which is why we visited. Felt like a safe area. Staff is so nice. Great breakfast and lots of hot and cold choices. That toaster was sketchy, smoked while the bread/bagel was toasting. It's got comfy beds and the place is clean. Hot showers. Clean campus with plenty of parking.

Super noisy. Fridge running sounds like a car running in the room. Paper thin walls so foot steps above can be heard as well as door closing, voices, plus the elevator alarm in the middle of the night. Elevator sign said it wasn't working, but stopped on floor 3 and sounded for about 20 min before shutting off. Construction site outside. I think it's haunted. Saw black shadows in the dark. Cannot confirm though other than what I witnessed on the 3rd floor in my room. Uneasy and troubled feeling and did not sleep well on night 1. Night 2 I was exhausted and all new england's spirits could have visited...I wouldn't have known.

1) Response from maintenance for replacing lop-sided coffee maker was good. 2) USB ports in many outlets and on lampstands. 3) Television indicates channel identifier and broadcasting network.

A) Bottom of bathroom door seemed warped out B) Stains on chair C) Stains on carpet near 2nd floor D) Tags on electric appliances (hairdryer) E) Lack of tray in room, to carry breakfast back to room. F) Unable to affiliate Hilton Honors account with stay (was told by the front desk clerk that my account could not be associated with the stay at the hotel, by hotel staff, which seemed difficult for me to believe)

The hotel was closed where we stayed and had a restaurant out front and a gas station with a convenience store. Everything was very handy within a couple hundred feet of walking.

The first floor is kind of musty around the pool area so we had to move rooms but they were very accommodating
